forgot our naan bread and one was delivered within 5-10 minutes great service and great food

One of the best curries I’ve had in Ashford. I never leave reviews, but this was so good I had to.

Tasted ok but chicken really dry and tough. Didn’t seem fresh. Won’t use again.

Average food, very oily madras but nice tasting masala. Meat quite chewy at parts. Nice rice

Ordered £60 worth of take away from you for 4 adults. Pleasantly surprised from the quality of curries. Starters was so nice especially the onion bhaji. Garlic naan was £3.95 each. Little on pricey end but it was lovely though. Tandoori mixed grill was £14.95 for a tiny portion - same container as the other curries which costs £9.95. Just wish that £14.95 portion was a bit bigger. Overall, 4/5. Food quality was spot on. 😍

I had a takeaway from here and i was blown away by how the tasty the curries were from this establishment. From the onion bhajis to the curry and naan bread every mouthful was breathtaking i hugely recommend everyone to try this place if you like tasty curry with speedy and efficent service

I have used this twice before it’s usually the same dish. I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was not palatable. The rice,was wet, soggy very and tasteless and the sauce wasn’t nice. I will not order from your restaurant again. Very poor quality of food this time around. Waste of time

We’ve just had a very expensive takeaway from you this evening of which most was inedible, cold and watery and this was for a 60th Birthday too utterly appalling and we waited an hour and a half for this awful rubbish food of which most was thrown in the bin 🤬 prawn curry with hardly any prawns, disgusting definitely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone 🤢

Just received an order from this takeaway it took over an hour and a half to arrive and when it did it was inedible it was the worst Indian takeaway I have ever eaten the rice was crispy fro being kept warm and the prawn korma was like flavourless soup disgusting, my friend ordered chicken tikka Masala which was the same and her husband had a prawn bunha with no prawns

No rice - you missed putting this into our order this time

Was told 40 mins to 1 hour delivery time. Turned up over two hours after I’d ordered. And that’s on a Thursday! Good luck at the weekend. Food was good though.

The curry was nice but a bit cold so had to reheat it. The rogan josh was a bit bland.

I ordered a delivery and the food was remarkable, I missed something from my order so I called the restaurant and they added what I wanted, the owner was very accommodating and very friendly. When the food arrived it was hot and delicious. The delivery driver with the beard read out my order to ensure it was correct and was very pleasant and polite. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The wrong food was delivered as to what we ordered off of the menu. The staff at the restaurant we spoke to was also very rude on the phone. The menu online needs to be reviewed and changed to stop this happening again.

Best Indian food I have ever had by far! Chicken tikka with green chilli 🌶 was beautiful and biryani was great too ! Ordered a takeaway from here tonight via just eats. Managed to enter my neighbours address in error for delivery. I called the restaurant to be told there was nothing they could do and I’d have to cancel and re-order which would mean paying again for my food whilst I waited for the original funds to be returned. How helpful. So to negate this I went and sat with my neighbour to wait for my food to arrive. It didn’t turn up during the expected delivery time despite a notification from just eats that it was with the driver. So I called the restaurant to be told THEY’D cancelled my order. The manager could not be more dismissive if he tried. Told me to re-order my food if I wanted it (so I’d have to fork out twice whilst I wait my refund for the original order). So now £28 down with no food. Cheers Kennington Tandoori for all your help. Tonight was a first to order from you needless to say we wont be again.

Ordered online. Sat and waited for an hour. They’d cancelled the order without informing us. Customer service non-existent. Avoid like the plague…

What a joke. Ordered my food and accidentally put my neighbours address for delivery. Called the restaurant within a minute of ordering to be told there was nothing they could do and I’d have to cancel and reorder …..helpful as this means waiting for a refund for my original order and paying again for the correct delivery address. So negate this once I received notification from just eats that my food was on the way I went to my neighbours to wait for my food. After a 50 min wait I called the restaurant to find out where my food was only to be told that THEY’D cancelled it and if I still wanted it I’d have to replace the order and pay against (while I wait for the 5-7 day refund for the original order) the manager could not be more dismissive if he tried. Tonight was a first to order from Kennington Tandoori and it will be the last.

Portions are generous and tasty. Only negative point was the Naan bread that was cold

New to ashford. But this is one of the best Indians I’ve ever had. Will definitely be ordering again. 👍

Excellent food, prompt delivery

I am truly disappointed with the Indian I ordered tonight. The chicken in the curries were so dry they were not eaten due to them being like cardboard. The potatoe dish I ordered was 50% water and the naan breads were also very dry. The onion bhaji were very lovely.

Had to pick up myself no delivery drivers plus food was full of coconut no taste of masala

Had to phone restaurant to ask where my food was. They fobbed me iff by blaming driver shortage, I always praised Kennington Tandoori but not anymore.

Wow where do I start, placed order and payed, promptly got phone call from restaurant telling me they had no drivers so could I pick it up, reluctantly I said okay but I have paid for delivery which i was told he would compensate me with a large bottle of beer and he would chuck in some extras...well okay large beer swayed me..so off I went to kennington tandoori arrived on time went straight into restaurant and found no one there kitchen lights off and place looked like it had closed down called out to see.if anyone would reply but no one did...at this point I'm not to happy so rung them up to find out what's going on..I was told sorry he forgot to tell me that that shop is being refurbished and they are operating from there sister shop cinnamon spice 2 mins away...okay so go to this shop and finally get my food and okay got me beer and some extras(poppadoms and some chutneys) bit disappointing really but I swallowed it just wanted to get home and enjoy the food...but it just all got worse...dry chicken in the tikka masala, pink chicken in the korma which smelled like chicken in bin juice so went in bin where it belonged..all I could do now was drown me sorrows with the very expensive beer...if you want to try this place good luck...

First time we used these guys and we enjoyed it. Quick service and food was nice. Could have done a bit more choice for the rice and naans but the curries were very nice which was the main thing.

Have been ordering from KT for about 2 years now and the food quality has steadily declined over that time - bhajis tasted like they had been reheated, Bombay potatoes had no flavour and were watery, flavourless tikka masala. Will try somewhere else next time.

First time ordering from here. Have to say the food was delicious, fresh and hot. Very polite driver (Matt) who was on time. With the delivery charge this is a fair bit more expensive from what we usually pay but either way happy to order again but will be much more cautious with the side dishes to keep the price down.

We were staying in Ashford for the first time and ordered Christmas eve, menu was limited but we ordered based on just eat reviews. It took over an hour for delivery which was expected, but when food arrived it was warm and not good,when you pay over £10 for a main you expect quality tasty food. All mains appear to be tikka based, so what you are getting is cooked chicken tikka pieces heated in a sauce, this would be fine if the chicken wasn't overcooked and dry and the sauce tasted nice. The tikka masala was bright red and had a very Grainy coconut texture, The balti (medium spiced!) Was bland and acidic, the dopiaza sauce was the best flavour of them all, but its a simple mild dish and I ordered a balti for myself expecting a fragrantly spiced dish. The sag aloo was the worse I've ever tasted, it's like they've mixed pre boiled potato's with a pre made sag, the potatoes had no flavour! The naan bread and rice was as expected, we also ordered mixed starter, the onion bahji was OK the samosa was the only item with flavour and spice! We paid £87 for our food and over half of it went in the bin (we'd normally eat the leftovers next day), we only ate the other half because we were hungry but even struggled to eat that and the was lots of wasted food! All I can say is this whoever is saying this is the "best Indian food in ashford" have never tried authentic indian food, the restaurant appears to cater for a bland palate and I'm pleased is not my local. Very dissappointing.

Used this Indian for many years but during Covid and even now they have restricted their takeaway menu (only two choices of rice!). I get its been tough but every alternative have reinstated their full menu's and so we have moved on from being really loyal customers for many years. They also really screwed up our order one night and told us the food had left when it had not. Asked the manager to call us but that didn't happen .

Food was cold, very disappointing

Korma sauce was ok but the onion bhajis were tasteless and the garlic chilli chicken was tough and watery. Won't be ordering again.

Amazing food best curry in Ashford

We ordered a takeaway from here like we have done in the past. The food turned up and we were all shocked at the taste and quality of the food. Unusually for us we thought that we would phone the restaurant and tell them. Their answer to our concerns on the phone was “ if you wanted something tasty you shouldn’t have ordered a vegetable curry” - that is a shocking answer and the fact our order was £60 is a kick in the teeth. We will not be ordering from you again after the way you handled our concerns with such poor customer service. Shame that a Indian restaurant we have used many times before acts this way .

Second week on the trot food was not hot,l will be looking for another India takeaway that can provide hot food

The food was not hot when arrived at our property, the food was not up to previous orders based on quality and heat

After ordering, the restaurant called to say they would not deliver we could collect and if we didn’t want to we would have to get our money back from Just Eat. Feeling pressurised by the restaurant we agree to collect. When we arrived I asked for our delivery charge back (£5) at which point the staff member started shouting at me saying as I showed him no respect he was cancelling my order! Kennington tandoori also said that we would struggle to get our money back until the cancels the order on the Just Eat app, which they still have not! £55 down and a very disappointed family. We still have not received the money back from the restaurant. Modern day criminals!

Excellent quality food, delivered v quickly, piping hot and extremely good sized portions and very tasty!
