The best restaurants serving Indian food in Newcastle upon Tyne North East

Have been wanting to try here for a while as I have always heard good stuff. Sadly to say it was one of the worse Indian meals I have had. The naan bread was cold, not even luke warm. Both my meals and starters were tasteless too. I’m so disappointed and will not be going back. Am absolutely gutted. Ate about a third then chucked the rest in the bin.

The tandoori mixed grill was an absolute feast! The chicken shashlick, tandoori king prawns, and sheek kebab were all full of bold flavors. I also loved the spicy papadom and lime pickle. Definitely my new favorite Indian restaurant in Stroud.

Terrible food i'm afraid, as well as not the cleanest of places, staff are a little rude at times and nearly always give you the wrong order, so frustrating, i've giving them many chances and this was my last ever visit to this place

Hands down the worst indians iv had, dupiza wasn't dupiza was swimming in grease and had absolutely no flavour..the homemade chips were frozen chips, the poppadoms had the worst taste ever to them... the only thing half decent was the nan bread... won't be ordering again

Si te gusta un curry caliente echa un vistazo a este lugar. Tuve una madras y está allí con lo mejor hasta ahora. Servicio animado por el gerente que hizo todo lo posible por servirnos. Yo, Mam y yo volveríamos; el keema naan es para morirse.

Munchbox was lovely - portions quite small but more than enough for 1 person, 2 may need to order something else to bulk out. Everything was nice but the madras wasn’t spicy like it should be.

Indian Italian fusion at it's finest

Clearly frozen and couldnt eat due to a pool of water gathering on my plate, disgusting. Even came in microwaveable containers asif straight from freezer and into microwave. If this was the case in a restaurant there's no way I'd have payed for it

Lucky to get last-minute booking for early dinner on Saturday. Took family from London visiting Newcastle for the weekend. Great central location on High Bridge Street and they loved the cobbles too! Restaurant was busy and buzzy and positively teeming with lovely, helpful staff. Service was fast, friendly and with a smile. Food was delicious and they cheerfully packed up what we left to take home for supper. Definitely worth a visit.

Always friendly and fantastic service, food always delicious and authentic. Two set meal options (for two people), great value for money.

I expect better service, for over £300

Guys please don't heat your pitta bread in a microwave use the pizza oven or the griddle, by the time i got my kebab which was over 15mins wait eventually got my kebab the pitta bread was rock hard inedible!

Una fiesta de 4 y tuvimos una gran comida aquí. Tuvimos 2 cursos y ambos fueron excelentes. El servicio que recibimos también fue de primera y sin duda volveremos.

Realmente delicioso. El hotel estaba lleno de ese maravilloso olor que hacía que todos nos tuvieran celos. . . Entregado en poco tiempo.
