Absolutely horendous. I had ordered a tikka masala at around 6 o'clock, and it came at 8:10. The tikka masala is way too sweet, and came with no rice. I have never experienced such disgusting food.

Got the wrong road curry was cold yet again. Even though i left instructions. Beautiful curry house the delivery drivers let them down 2nd time its happened. Might have to go back to cafe spice.

The food is too too sweet and of no taste , I through the order and spoke to the owner on the phone he was not ready to listen and understand. Very very bad food ever had in England . Can give a guarantee that the food was sweeter than any sweet dish . Indian food never had the worst food ever

Ordered from foodhub at 19:14, said it would take 30 mins. 1.5 hours later still no food, rang the takeaway several times and the line was busy. After this, we cancelled the order on foodhub and ordered elsewhere. Collected the other food and had eaten it when at 21:55 we had a knock at the door and it was the food from Spice 14. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible customer service! I am leaving my review on this order because they cancelled my more recent order so I couldn't leave a review... I have gout in my foot which is very painful I ordered a delivery of pizza and chips and they asked me to come outside for it so I was like fair enough... I came outside stood outside for ages and rang him and he acted like he didn't know what I was on about and refused to come to the main door of my block of flats as if he expected me to hobble towards his car... I'm paying for delivery not to go and have to collect it myself and it comes to something when your staff are that incompetent and lazy to even go to a main door on a customer's behalf... I used to love ordering from here but doubt I will again when the staff are incompetent, disrespectful and rude! Don't waste your money.

1st time ordering here, chips were over done along with the keema nan being black on one side and one tiny bit of meat in it "Clearly burnt" sauces were average and rice was just ok but very dry hence Low star rating.

These guys really know how to provide excellent customer service! I ordered a chicken korma not knowing that An authentic Indian korma was sweet. I thought it would be like the jarred sauces you get at the store but I was wrong! I rang the store and explained that it was entirely my fault and the guy I spoke to was so understanding of my error! He offered to deliver another dish free of charge because I was a first time customer and because I’d accepted and acknowledge that this was entirely down to my (lack of) knowledge about chicken korma lol. He requested that I only pay the delivery fee as the driver was having to come back out again which I agreed to. The guy on the phone then asked what I’d like and not wanting to order the wrong thing again, I asked for recommendations based on wanting something not too spicy and something savoury to which he recommended a chicken Balti. The food has just arrived and it’s hot, fresh and incredibly tasty! Honestly, hats off to these guys. Will absolutely be ordering from here again (I’ll do some research on the dishes first though 😂) Thanks!

From both boxes flatbread was very dry and undercooked, chicken tikka was burned and tasted burnt and very dry no sauce, onion badjis have shrunk and were a lot smaller than usual it upsets me as ive bought from here since you opened and have never had such a botched meal please check food standards before order leaving

Food not that great but standard was to be expected considering it took almost two hours to arrive despite having a 25-40 minute time on Just Eat. After asking for my second update via just eat was told the driver was stuck in heavy traffic... on a Monday evening in what is practically still a National lockdown. Would be good if the wait times on just eat were accurate and amended during busy periods. Suggest restaurant maybe stops taking orders if they cannot deliver.

Ordered chicken tikka masala. Four pieces of chicken and a carton of red sauce. Not a great start. Might have been nice if it was still hot but it was clay cold. Bhajis and chips likewise. Everything was greasy because they were cold Very disappointing. Supposedly one driver off. Twice the just eat app showed it as being delivered. Granted when I spoke to the restaurant they were lovely and did ring me back. Perhaps at this time (vivid-19) meant they were extra busy and it is Friday night which is why they didn’t get 1 star. . My first order delivered. Perhaps collecting is the way to go but not sure I will given how much it cost. Very disappointing.

I order second time as first was absolutely delicious, this time was poor. Nan bread should be with cheese but was without cheese and was burned. Popadoms smell and taste like old frying oil and sheem kebab was old and hard. This time I'm disappointed of this what I got.

Awful, awful food. Stodgy naan, weirdly sweet curries, horribly disappointing all around. And the delivery person rang our doorbell and woke the baby up despite our very detailed instructions to not do so.

The chicken shashlick was to die for, the butter chicken tasted like korma, but was really nice for dipping into with a delish nan bread. I ordered the coconut rice (which I think was my bad choice) which was really sweet. I’d defo order a different rice dish and maybe a more savoury curry, but it was all nice and I’ll defo be back!

The pathia was a little too sweet for my tastes but that’s always the hazard with a pathia and I still enjoyed it. I ordered prawns because the other options were chicken or “meat”, which I assumed was beef but the ambiguity was off-putting! Never seen meat listed like that before. Prawns were few and far between but my partner enjoyed his chicken madras. We got the 7 course meal which was good value for money. I would have liked a full carton of rice and more substantial Bombay potatoes but can’t really complain for the price of the meal. Not sure if I would order from here again.

I have been a regular, but no more after the poor portion size and no apology when I informed them. I have been going for years and to be treated like that then fine I have plenty of other places to go and spend money. Barely half of the container was filled. Gave side a new meaning. Poor then the manager not bothered finished my desire to go again.

Terrible customer service, placed an order on just eat, after 1.5 hours I called to find out how much longer our order would be, to be met with "it will be there when the driver gets there" order turned up cold and 3 orders missing! Called the restaurant complain, and the guy I spoke to was very apologetic and said the delivery driver was delayed because of the bad weather. Fair enough but still a long time to wait. Food was average and not worth the near-starvation.

Absolutely shocking. Food was over two hours late and arrived cold. Smallest naan I've ever seen in Newcastle, and due to the temperature, was the texture of cardboard. Restaurant was incredibly rude and unhelpful, claiming that an order being 2 hours late is "nothing to do with (them)". Avoid like the plague

Very poor service. Delivered 45 mins late and blamed traffic! Only live couple of miles away! Ordered main meal chicken tikka and was very small portion! Will not use again when so much choice on here!

This is my favourite Indian takeaway. Massive range of vegetarian dishes and the food is as delicious every single time, we well as being well priced. Will 100% be coming back.

My vegetable curry was fine, though the mushroom pilau was disappointing. My wife’s chicken tikka masala basically had no chicken in it- she was still hungry after it and she isn’t a big eater. We used to go here a few years ago and it was good. We won’t be ordering /going here again.

Absolutely brilliant. 4 starters, mains. Two rices and naans. All absolutely perfect! Brilliant flavours, came nice and hot and we all had empty plates at the end. 10/10 we will be back and 10/10 we all recommend.

Very disappointed! The pizza topping had slid off across the box, the chips were cold and the salad in the kebab roll did not taste fresh at all. Overall the whole order did not taste very nice and we couldn’t eat the majority of it.

After our pizza time being pushed back already we were very excited to get our pizza. Boxing day no one wants to cook so i thought id treat myself and my boyfriend to a pizza, chips and garlic sauce. I hate pizza without garlic sauce and love it so much i ordered 2 for me and 2 for him. At the door the driver was lovley even told us not to worry about going to get the extra 50p, how kind. However once the opening our food we noticed there was no sauce. Rang the restraunt to have a girl answer and ask someone in the shop assuming its the owner. He was shouting in the background pretty much saying we were lying because he definitely put it inside the pizza box. Well he was wrong, so we tried to explain and he kept shouting. The girl even asked him to talk to us and he just kept shouting in the background. He eventually came on the phone. He told us it would take min of 1hr and 30mins to sort out because lack of drivers. No you will have drop off you may just have to make some orders delayed as we ordered it for our tea. He was very rude and found him to accuse us of lying. I then told him i would not order from him again as its appauling service, the driver did actually ring me after we finished our tea with mayo from the fridge. He apologied and took full responsibility. I would not have minded had the shop not been rude. Only person who was nice was the driver, yes he made a mistake which is understandable with it being a busy night, but being rude on the phone is not ok. I hope the driver is not in trouble however will never order again due to my phone call with the store. Also they couldnt have been put in the box at all if the sauce was still in the car. Hmmm its strange how we are the liars.

Terrible! I placed an order at 6pm on a Saturday evening, and once the order was confirmed received an email saying the food would arrive by 7pm. At 7.25pm I called the restaurant and was told that my order had left 2mins ago. At 7.50pm I phoned again, to be told that the driver had only left 15mins ago. When the food eventually arrived just past 8pm, the driver said he had left the restaurant 10mins ago. To have to wait 100% longer than expected was frustrating, to be consistently lied to was infuriating. Fortunately, the food was good and still warm.

Amazing food as always, been to about 15 different Indian takeaway and this is by far the best we have tried. Been going here for about a month now and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
