Ordered few times before as it was fine. Last night at 17.00 I found a different guy, an oldish dishonest man. Some curries seemed preheated, papadom wasn't fresh at all. Also cash only. Very disappointed.

Had my fair share of takeaways in Newcastle but after trying Bruntons food I’ve never looked back, the quality and taste never disappoint each time we order.

You walk through the door and they sell you food.

Great food but be prepared to wait if you haven't prepaid

Visited for the first time last weekend as just moved to the area. I was impressed We had Lamb Biryani (superb, fragrant with very tender lamb), Keema Naan (very good indeed) and samosas (very disappointing as not crispy and lacked flavour). Staff are very pleasant and I will definitely be a regular customer.

The dish I ordered was a different colour to its usual shade & was blander.It was however,the rude delivery driver that was the biggest bugbear.Not content with the £20 note I had given him,I was told his boss wouldn't accept older (not shiny) notes so I trundled back up stairs- bearing in mind that I am disabled & gave him a shiny £20 note.But oh dear,he didn't even have enough change for me.I know this is a ploy to get more money out of me.Anyway,3 hours later heard silver & coppers posted through my letterbox Obviously my change thrown through letterbox.Rude.Why do delivery drivers s put cold can in same bag as hot food? No brain that's what

Totally disappointed food arrived cold and starter missing when they brought it was cold and dry it went in the bin will not be using again.

Having had an insipid meal, for the first time, admittedly, from another local place, I decided to try Brunton Park. One of my yardsticks on whether the place does food to my liking, is their take on Onion Bhajis. Well, my heart sank on biting into Brunton's version. Not crispy and stodgy inside. What had I let myself in for? My choice of Lamb Shashlik with Rogan sauce and Special Fried Rice, on the other hand, was inspired. The lamb had loads of flavour being chargrilled. Best lamb meal ever - well done Brunton. I will return for more but can't take the risk again with the O B's, what a shame.

Never leave review but I had to first time tried this place and sorry be the last never had such a tasteless watery curry in life was that bad had to bin the whole lot the water what came at the bottom of the curry was water either frozen and defrosted then served but havnt experienced a curry with absolutely no taste at all very disappointing had to order elsewhere as my daughter was so looking forward to it she is young as she said she didnt like it either didnt ring up as I wouldn't want a replacement as wouldn't eat again from there had better curry out of a tin for £1.29 and woke up with itchy swollen lip and that's all I tried that day as couldn't eat the other one I ordered for the family from another place maybe coincidence but had some type reaction from this food from this place

This Indian has changed the meat isn't as good as what it use to be..... Very tuff I don't often go back here. Shame cause it use to be good.

Awful behaviour by the delivery guy. Vandalised my doorbell by pulling it off the wall. Despite my complaint to the restaurant owner, no call back to apologize.

asked for a veg vindaloo dish with extra chilli which was catered for. lovely big garlic naan to go with it. tasty dish and piping hot when collected and brought home.

I was advised to avoid this take away by a friend of a friend, as usual I like to see for myself and so pleased I did. The Korma and chicken Tikka Masala was delicious with rice and Nan bread. We would definitely use again.

Curry was tasty but the lamb was s tough as old boots, mutton, not lamb

As new customers the food had been up to standard for the past few weeks however, terrible this evening. The food i received was not what i had ordered and sub standard. Chips were undercooked and the nann breads burnt. The curry was watery and inedible. Hardly any meat provided. I voiced my concerns with the so called manager who asked me what i would like him to do about it after putting me on hold for 5 minutes. Needless to say, i won't be ordering from here again. Appauling customer sevice!

This takeaway has served consistently excellent dishes for the ten years we have been customers. Good chefs, polite and helpful staff and speedy delivery: job done.

It could be better if they got the crabby woman from the shake a holic to work there. Not as good as Shake-a-holic!
