Nice meal which was delivered quickly. Food arrived hot & there was plenty of it. Enjoyed by all diners.

Used DOTR for a long time but the Jalfrezi I had on Saturday was the best for a long long time. Thanks lads.

Had a delivery of lamb pasanda & chilli chicken. Both really nice with the garlic & coriander nann bread. Only thing was the nann could've been hotter.

Ordered a Chicken Tikka Korai and cheese naan takeaway. Curry was gorgeous, was pleasantly surprised. Super flavourful, big portion and easily enough for two. They should have warned that it is quite spicy! But luckily I like my spice. The restaurant it self seems to have had a facelift. Looks great inside. The Last Days of the Raj has been around for decades. I believe management changed hands earlier this year. It’s the no nonsense traditional old school style Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant with a few modern hits. We’ll be back!

I have used this restaurant for a number of years, but what an improvement since it changed ownership. The service is first class and the food, well it was the best butterfly king prawn my wife has ever had. The rice is fluffy and well cooked, and the side dish of bombay aloo, with sag, was equally tasty. The lamb tikka starter was succulent and tasty. My madras was well spiced and flavoursome, with lots of chicken, complimented by a very tasty sauce. The boss has promise a large pack pepper, mill, just to add that little bit more. We will return.

This place in under new management now. The take aways are still good and delivery is very quick. The restaurant now is alcohol free but they are happy for you to bring your own and don't have a corkage charge (the garage next door at the time of writing has a deal for 2 large bottle of cobra for £5). The food is still very good and the service is absolutely excellent with all the staff very friendly and professional. Great place.

Ordered Chicken Balti and prawn balti was delivered. Called the restaurant straight away, left a voicemail. No one got back to me. Raised the issue with Just Eat. Complete waste of a meal with no main dish!

Excellent food quality and it was ready for collection immediately on arrival, handed to me by friendly staff. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Curry container lid was not on properly. When food arrived all the curry spilled out of the container when I tried to lift it out of the bag and ruined the whole meal.

Worst Indians I’ve ever had. It was swimming in grease and the bitter chicken had no taste. the chicken wasn’t fresh it was chewy which was fine as we only got 5 small pieces. Wouldn’t order again

Our regular go to Indian restaurant for nights out with friends or family meal with kids Huge range of food including staple traditional curries plus house specialties We loved the mid week banquet offers and took the chance to try random options we’d never normally go for . Always made a fuss of the children and gave them sweets !

My son recommended this restaurant. he said it was the best Indian restaurant in the area. I pre-ordered a meal. the meal arrived 30 minutes late. the food was cold on arrival. the quality of the food was terrible. The Butter chicken was bland and had no taste. the onion bhaji.s were cold and rock hard you couldn't cut them with a sharp knife. Nan was like rubber. Very disappointed with this restaurant and will never order from here again

Wow!! Where do I start?! Chicken tikka Madras with mushroom pilau and naga chips. The chicken tikka was very tender and tasty. The Madras sauce was outstanding and the instruction for extra garlic in the sauce was met!! The naga chips were absolutely amazing; crispy, tasty and not crazy hot!! This is a place I'll 100% return too and look forward to sitting in for a meal very soon! Thank you to the kind staff and the brilliant chefs 👨‍🍳

Delivery was very quick and the driver was friendly. The chicken madras was very tasty with fresh coriander added. Pilau rice with peas and peshwari naan were very good too. Will definitely order from here again, when we are in the area

Lovely but the king prawns were cut into small bits and others stringy, would prefer to have full king prawns

Ordered a delivery, waiting time was good, around 45 mins to an hour which given it was an England match I thought was excellent. Slight issue with our mains whereupon our vegetable dish had meat in it but I have to say they were amazing about this and quick to put it right, another dish turned up within 10 minutes. Extremely tasty dishes, loads of flavour, plenty spice where you needed it and great quality. Have to say the management takeover is working and this has now become an excellent Indian. Delicious with great staff and service.

Takeaway ordered via Justeat. Delivery was approx 45 mins late but it was well worth the wait! Every dish was incredible, very flavoursome. Delivery driver very apologetic too. Will order again.

Ordered the set meal for 2 to take out. Food was hot, service was great, quick and efficient. Food was a big disappointment, everything was just so very very bland! Chicken Korma sauce was delicious. Chicken on the otherhand was very dry. Onion bhaji was oily but also very dry. Tikka side- again Chicken was dry and pretty bland, onions tasted great, nice and crunchy. Lamb bhuna- bland, bland, bland. On a positive the lamb was cooked perfectly, so was a shame. Keema naan- cooked well but couldn't taste any keema what so ever. Aloo gobi- potato cooked well, sauce again was bland. Had been here a few month ago, and the food was amazing, so full of spices and flavour. Now not so much.

Hadn’t tried this place in a while but it is under new ownership. The food is delicious and excellent quality. Great portion sizes too. Will be using this as our regular for Indian now

We tried again recently since under new ownership. Had chicken tikka bhuna and a chicken sag to share with lemon rice. Both were delicious. Really fresh, just the right amount of spice. The lemon rice was refreshing and tasty. We have had take away and sat in. We usually get take away here but sitting in was a nice experience too… the staff are lovely warm and friendly. It has a very traditional feel to the restaurant which is rare these days and we liked. Only thing to be aware of is they don’t sell alcohol anymore in the restaurant but you can bring your own.

Amazing best Indian I’ve had since moving here the service was friendly it was on time and the taste was out of this world the chicken tikka masala was so nice the chicken was tender the sauce was full of flavour and just the right level of spice I couldn’t pick any fault out of anything I’ll definitely be back and I’ll definitely be eating in aswell Great work

Lovely meal out. I had a shami kebab and chicken danzak plus some rice and naan. All out plates were empty at the end which is always a good sign. You also take your own drinks and there is a shop next door in case you don’t realise. Good times.

it was lovely a bit warm .. but being an hour late is understandable ...garlic chicken was fantastic as was chicken rogan only thing missing was the onion bhaji ..but will still get my takeaway from here

Ordered a masala and lamb shashlik, both meals were lovely nann bread was cooked perfect and the garlic chips are the dogs nuts! Foods really nice would definitely order from here.

Lovely food and charming staff. Doesn't look much from the outside, but pass through the beautiful stained glass and brass door upstairs into a great atmosphere for dinner.

Possibly the worst service I’ve ever had the displeasure to receive. Ordered online for delivery at 6:30. At 7:30 it arrived and it was just warm enough to eat. Excuse of vehicle breakdown I can honestly say it’ll be an experience I won’t be revisiting. The worst service and quality I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs.

mixed up one of my mains I ordered chicken tikka masala but got chicken tikka dansak. And had already ordered a Chicken Dansak. both tasted very nice as usual. but bit of Dansak overload. But still my go to Indian restaurant.

Highly recommend this place. You probably drive past and dont really notice it but try it someday. Someday soon. Lovely atmosphere. Nice warm welcome. Comfortable. Polite and accommodating staff. Reasonably priced. Beautiful food served in a very acceptable time. Staff check in to see if you need anything but it's not invasive like some places. I have nothing but praise for this place. Try it ASAP!

Beautiful food as always. Tiny mess up with being sent the wrong meal which was quickly rectified. The only down side is I think the delivery man on Sunday night (6th) has given my Husband COVID! :(

Part of the order missing. Wrong items in the bag. Prawn vindaloo was terrible lots of sauce very few prawns and a big lump or half cooked potato. Delivered way earlier than advised it would be and never received a notification to say it was on its way. Will not be using this place again.

The food is very very tasty and I ordered mainly vegetarian dishes and I am pleased with the level of spices and food. I would definitely recommend and would order again
