Do not go. I used to love this place. Please read all the recent reviews. Awful experience today. A group of my friends came, 5 of us had to cancel our Kothu Roti orders as we waited 2 hours. My wife and her friend has to wait two hours for the kulkuli sherbet and we had to send the Colombo colada back as it has curdled. The chicken wings never came. The starters arrived after the main. Further more, I used to come to this restaurant and the standards have dropped so far. One of the waiters, a tall man, is an absolute clown. Any self respecting restaurant manager would've just discounted the bill. I know the owner personally and will be contacting him.

Great food, attentive staff, cosy atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. After trying many similar restaurants in the area, this one stands out above the rest. I would recommend the mixed grill, which includes a naan bread and the madras extra spicy. Would recommend booking in advance as it does get busy.

We had the Vishu Sadya today and must say we thoroughly enjoyed it . Every single curry on the sadya tasted exceptional . The payasams were heavenly . This is our 5th Vishu sadya from them , guess that says alot. Thank you for the wonderful food and service .

Oh my God! That place is perfect. The food is great and the staff make you feel at home. The music was better than I expected. That was my first time. As long as I have life in me, will be back. I left feeling so good about everything. You people are the best.

Delicious just could do with more meat less onions

After moving away from Barkingside 10 years ago and going to Sharod Restaurant regularly we loved it Food was beautiful all freshly cooked . On our return last night 23/7/24 what a disappointment food tasted like it had been pre cooked then warmed up ..

Very nice and very tasty forever.

This spot is great for authentic punjabi food at a reasonable price. Service is fantastic but the actual restaurant is quite small so can get crowded.
