I visited for the iftar buffet. Food was nice and the staff were polite.

I had heard many great reviews about Al Qasr, so I traveled all the way from Purley to try it for myself—and they were absolutely right! The iftar buffet was amazing, with a very authentic taste. Compared to other iftar buffets, the seating arrangements were much more spacious, and well-organised, with no rush, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. In my opinion, I would say it’s better than the Royal Mahal iftar buffet—I found that to be overhyped and not spacious at all. Al Qasr, on the other hand, exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come again to break my fast and also try their normal buffet too.

If I need to have good food I know where to go (ie. Al Qasr). I don't usually love buffets but I loved the food I had here. And the fish pakora 😍 amazing. The staff are all so friendly and attentive. I defo recommend coming here & since I had my wedding reception here also (not today) I also recommend booking this space for events!!

We went there around 6 pm weekday. We were first to go , all the items were fresh and hot. Chicken tikka, sheekh kebab , fish fry , chicken wings , haleem were hot , spicy , fresh, no bad smell at all. Nalli Nihari was good, lamb karahi was more like Bengali curry but the taste was superb. Chicken biryani was also awesome with some excellent flavours. My family with kids thoroughly enjoyed this delicious food. Compare to Royal nawab , items are less but I can vouch for the taste which is better than Royal nawab. Adult 18 pounds , kids under 10 is 9 pounds.

My stay here was nothing short of perfection, and it truly set a new standard for hospitality. From the moment I stepped out of the taxi, I was blown away by the architecture. The lobby took my breath away. The fresh flowers were a beautiful sight. Greeted by a very warm welcome from the staff. Check-in was seamless, we arrived at the hotel at 9am, check in was meant to be at 2pm, but they had our room ready. We were personally escorted to our room – a thoughtful touch that instantly made me feel special. The room itself was a masterpiece of comfort and style, combing traditional Arabian and modern design. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, the linens were luxuriously soft, and the attention to detail was impeccable. The bathroom was a spa-like sanctuary, complete with premium toiletries. The view from my room overlooked the lake where the abra’s (boats) whisked guests around the resort with the iconic Burj Al Arab as the backdrop! I could have spent hours soaking up the scenery!! Each meal felt like a culinary journey, with the chefs delivering flavors that were both innovative and unforgettable. The breakfast buffet, was a treat with something for everyone, including local specialties. The award winning buffet held every Saturdays from 1-4pm was the highlight. I can honestly say, worth every penny!! What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to ensuring my stay was perfect. Whether it was a thoughtful recommendation for a local hidden gem or a small surprise left in my room, the personalized care I received was unparalleled. In particular Maruf, our housekeeper did an exceptional job. Jitu was another employee who was extremely friendly and went above and beyond for us. The location was ideal, away from the hustle and bustle. It sure was a peaceful retreat where I could fully unwind. I can’t recommend Al Qasr highly enough. Good service Wide variety of food

Saw reviews and thought of giving it a try. Went in with my family of 6 people, adults and children. Waited 5mins before a waiter attended and took us to a table, was then told to wait another 10mins so they can refill and clean the buffet. Barely waiter service as there were only 2 people but when asked for something they did bring it promptly. Food selection was limited and not as flavoursome. Ambience was quiet and awkward.

Food and services were fine but environment wasn’t that good as I expected. Song was bit loud , went there with family. Parking is there but very small, waiter was also friendly and helpful.

One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Such a waste of money, can cook better food than this at home. Food tasted like nothing, such average flavour and yet prices are rocket sky. The strawberry jelly was the only thing that taste decent. Never coming here again.

I have eaten at these buffet restaurant a few times. I must say the food is quite nice but unfortunately was disappointed when I went on Google review and FOOD Hygiene rating was only 2!!! This is to the manager or owner in this age. There’s no reason a food restaurant establishment should only have two star ratings by the local council. If you can do your best to increase that will be glad to come there much more regularly as your food is quite nice and did enjoy it.

I online order now chicken karahi but the restaurant send to me wrong food the send to me chicken shorwa I think we not putt water in the chicken karahi but it's a very disappointed karahi.

The environment is really nice and aesthetic with all the flowers. Genuinely the service is really good everyone is comforting and the energy is maintained throughout from the servers. It’s also very spacious and convenient with good variety of dishes of good quality. I’ve come here many times for events and overall I highly recommend this place if you want to immerse into south Asian cuisines but also just to have fun. Hope this helped.

I really really enjoyed our lunch here! The food was delicious, but I happened to mention, in passing that usually I prefer larger pieces of paneer, but his dish was yummy anyway - 5 mins later he appeared with a bespoke dish for me with large pieces of paneer in it!! What fabulous service! The atmosphere was joyful and I’d definitely like to go again! Thank you!

Amazing service! Great atmosphere! Friendly staff! Although it was fairly busy every staff member was consistently delivering great customer service! No one can beat their Mojitos, the mojitos were looking just amazing and tasted Devine! The presentation of the Pina Colada was just spot on! Definitely worth every penny and highly recommended! Would definitely rate these guys a solid 10/10

Felt like a Buffet went to this place.. Boy it was Dead.. Only us 2 and a family sitting with a load of kids. Honestly was looking forward to a good experience but completely the opposite.. The dishes were like all stale especially the Naan which was rock hard as well as the rice seemed stale most of the curries were lacking flavour very bland.. The dessert section had gulab jamun, cut pineapple, jelly which had flies sitting on it.. Shame it wasn't a good experience especially for prime time Saturday night there was no customers apart from us.. Don't think I'll be going back.

From the moment I first enquired about using Al Qasr for an event, Hasnatur was helpful and made it easy to make sure everything went smoothly. Booked the main room for 100 people (which admittedly more people came - but still catered for). Food was fresh and came out accordingly to meet our needs. We had other requests, like some food to take home, which the restaurant happily did for us at a small costs. Glad we went for restuarant instead of dry hall hire somewhere else as it was alone more stress free.

Visited Al Qsar with my whole family today and it was excellent as usual. Eat to your hearts content and finish off with hot and cold desserts. The choice of food is varied with meat and veg options and they even serve top quality chips! Its a must visit for get togethers and medium size parties. Highly recommended.

Great place for pakistani food. This is one of my favourite places to eat. The food has always been tasty and fresh and there's a good variety of items. The price is reasonable too. Great for families and large parties, I think they cater for weddings and events too. It's not fine dining or anything but it has a great atmosphere when busy. I would recommend Al Qasr.

I recently had the pleasure of dining with my family at Al-Qasr, a Halal buffet located in Ilford East london that exceeded all my expectations. The food was incredibly nice and tasty, offering a wide variety of dishes that were both flavorful and fresh. Each dish was prepared with care, and the quality was evident in every bite. Um-e- Ali dessert is out of this world experience. Must try. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. Rahman Bhai, in particular, was incredibly kind and humble. He went out of his way to ensure that our dining experience was perfect, making us feel welcome and well-cared for. I highly recommend Al-Qasr Buffet to anyone looking for delicious Halal food and outstanding service. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. My family, all 30 of us, including 10 children, came for lunch and had a great time. The service was great and the dishes available in the buffet were tasty, I must admit that the selection isn’t as extensive as some places but the quality makes up for it. There is parking available. The restaurant would be ideal to host a birthday gathering, or a small nikkah.

Lovely Place to Eat Indian on a Buffet

I visited today for my last iftar but the worst experience ever very limited option with no taste, limited to nill service. Unfortunately the worst decision made

This place was a huge disappointment. I wish I could have said different. I made the booking for us and our three children, for 7pm yesterday. I confirmed we would have until 9.30pm. Not once was it mentioned the kids would not be allowed to eat until iftar time, that we would not be able to purchase menu items aside from the iftar, or that the restaurant is only serving food for 2 hours from iftar time. I would have steered clear. The children were so excited, it was our final iftar meal out this ramadan. They were solooking forward to the menu. But to expect them to wait an hour from 7 in the restaurant before eating, and thats already an hour past their dinnertime, is ridiculous. The way in which this was conveyed was also highly unsatisfactory and very poor customer service. We were shown to our table, and then flatly refused the kids eating anything. Nothing small, no starters, which they could give us themselves we would not touch their buffet setup, or to purchase separately off the menu. The explanation was that previously, customers had complained about people eating early and left bad reviews apparently. Who complains about young children eating a little food?! As if it would all finish. This indicates perhaps an issue with supply of menu items which one would expect in a buffet. The point was why not tell me on the phone? It was clear we were coming with kids. Why book for 7pm if we are not allowed to eat??The manager spoke as if the two hour slot is clearly advertised, it isn't. To top it off, he was speaking to my husband not me, even though I was speaking to him and my husband was not. I foubd this extremely rude and disrespectful that he was completely ignoring me and speaking over me . Not letting me get a word in but telling my husbsnd he's not going to argue. Who was arguing?! We were just incredulous at what we were hearing, trying to sort something for the children. If he had been upfront, we would not have booked. In the end he offered some chips but we were told we would have to sit away from the main area lest a customer (there was no one else in the venue yet) should think we were eating all the buffet food. We could have gone to a pfc for that. My kids were not interested. We just felt so unwelcome. Reviews were the priority not great customer service and kindness towards children. He bent down to my son to say I know, i have a little one...what?? But then you're going to refuse to give the hungry munchkin any food? Well, here's a review for you. Parents, avoid this place. I made a last minute booking standing in the venue, being so upset at the way we were treated whilst the manager had left us to get the chips. Imagine that, customers googling somewhere else to eat because your place was so inhospitable. We actually ended up going to SPICE KHAZANA, a restaurant literally a few mins away. Here we were reallocated to a lovely table downstairs when they hadn't had space at first. The children were happily munching on delicious starters come iftar time. As were other kids, whilst the adults supervised. That's how it should be no? A lovely atmosphere and exactly the evening we were wanting.

We went for iftari yesterday, it was bangali restaurant, the food is not worth wat we paid £18 per person for buffet, which is only few dishes, and pakora is also not many varieties, very tiny aloo samosa, it's ridiculous for the main dishes even not many options. In the end we asked for tea nd we have been told sorry our chefs are too busy right now we cannot prepare tea for you. Which we already told them in advance when we were allocated to the table and took our drinks order and we told them we need tea in the end of our meal so we are not taking any drinks right now the waiter was ok by that time. But in the end it was too difficult for them to bring us tea. Anyways it's waste of money I won't recommend to anyone, and won't be going there again . Not good service Not many dishes to offer And no taste at all.
