The best restaurants serving Indian food in Three Rivers East of England

We’ve been ordering food from Village Tandoori in Abbots Langley for years, and it’s hands down the best Indian food in the area! The dishes are always delicious, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care and passion. The service is exceptional, and I’d especially like to thank the owner, Ali, who goes above and beyond to ensure every meal is perfect. He always asks if everything was enjoyable, which shows how much he genuinely cares about his customers. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine!

Really lovely restaurant. Chose the chef’s special and side dishes. All delicious and Hamzah the waiter was extremely professional and warm. Would definitely recommend. I will be returning again very soon. First class food and service.

Had a takeaway and while it tasted OK at first by halfway through the salt was far too excessive. I spent the night drinking water to try and flush it out. Not again I am afraid.

The Masala Bowl team were amazing as I hosted my Xmas party . They allocated me the whole top floor of the restaurant. The food, cocktails were sublime and we loved Sanjay's DJ grooves. some real professional moaners on here . i had a take away on Sunday . vegetarian but no complaints whatsoever

We ordered a lot of different dishes for delivery on a Sunday lunchtime family event and could not have had better quality food - everything was fresh, well presented, and very tasty - highly recommended. and a big thankyou from all our guests to the chef!

Yeah not great, lots of better choices around the area. Also for the price not worth it. No texture to the sauce chicken in a very watery tub. Even the chutneys not great.

Absolutely delicious chicken madras, great naan bread, and the very kind gents there gave me my last beer for free! Best curry I've had in years and fantastically friendly and welcoming staff, will definitely come back.

What a disappointing meal. - We had to wait an hour and ten minutes for our starters. - starters were like mush on a plate - main meals were bland, 3 bits of chicken in a bowl of sauce Everyone in the restaurant had to wait ages for food and was complaining. Total bill of £138 for two adults and two kids.. didn’t feel like value for money.

This was and will ALWAYS be my absolute favourite place with the owner always welcoming me in with your cheerful laughter! The owner is such a Gem <3
