Excellent food, great price, portion sizes large, delivery on time, ordering quick and easy through app. Highly recommended. Superb Indian food.

First time getting a takeaway from here as normally go to another curry house in the village that was recommended. I must say food came in good time and was very hot and plentiful and also got a free dish for purchasing £18 an over. We are very definitely going back, and I rang the man at the Village Tandoori to tell him how we enjoyed our meal

Excellent service from start to finish Easy to order Arrived 20 minutes early Free Delivery Food freshly cooked and piping hot Chicken Rossuni Keema Rice Sag Ponir Each in a large container Plus free salad sauces and popadoms I usually order from here when I’m staying at a friends in the village Never had a meal delivered to my house several miles away Normally use a closer restaurant However this is definitely the best for miles and there are probably 20-30 other options nearby

First time have eaten here for years. The food was very tasty good sized portions and the staff were very helpful with a member of our family having a food intolerance. Thoroughly recommend this takeaway

My girlfriend and I decided to eat here after deciding to stay locally for the Harry potter tour We looked in from the outside and the restaurant looked fairly quiet with just a few people inside. Upon entering the staff were pleasant and friendly. Once we ordered one of the staff members comeback and ended up chatting to us until the food arrived. The staff at the restaurant and so lovely. And the food was amazing tasty and plentiful I’m not local or would eat here a lot more often but will come again with in the area. Highly recommended R AND S

I found the food lacking in flavour and the chicken with the mixed grill was overcooked. Overall I would say the food was OK but you can definitely find a better curry elsewhere within the area.

Ordered the meat thali on saturday. Delivered in good time and piping hot. Tasted fantastic, great sized portions. My new, go toindian restaurant.

So glad to say they have opened up again. During this pandemic I tried so many others who are close by and open but did not live up to village tandoori. Great to have you guys back! And we all at abbots missed you guys. Loved the dansak last night thank you :) Paul and Sue x

First time trying this place after living in the village for a while now. Everything was good and cannot fault them at all. Decent prices and really good portions, more then I expected but worked well. Onion Bhajis are amazing and the curries were perfect. Will try again and definitely recommend.

Great little take away on the high street. Service and food is always great and a must. The chicken dansak is to die for! Overall good and perfect portions.

Love the masala tikka roll and korma tikka roll. All for £5 and come wrapped perfectly. Perfect quick meal before going out and works as a treat. Love it and family love it 2 x

A meat curry x 2.It had less flavour and heat than bistro gravy.I was supposed to be a medium curry, not in anyone’s wildest imagination was that a curry. Never again

Love this place, the sunday banquet is so worth it and goes down a treat. Recommend this as they also offer this on a Wednesday as well. I’m there 2 times a week :) Great value!

I am new to abbots and have tried all the Indians and this place is by far the best. In London we have various different options but can say this place is good!

This take away is spot on. Every time we have a family and friends gathering they are the first we call and make an order. Speedy service, but love the fact they know it’s a big order so they know to put on large mint sauces and mango chutney. And always give a few extra bits and bobs which always help when you have 20 odd starving guest. 5 Stars for Village Tandoori. Thanks, Paul

This place is great for me and my family. We come every Saturday night and it is perfect all the time. I used to go to the restaurant down the road, but after giving this a try, I had to change. Great staff, fast delivery and tasty food. Love all the dips that come free with every meal which is always a good money saver.

This is by far the best Indian in the village. The service and food together is amazing. Lovely little family working and always happy to help. Very trustworthy and go above beyond to get your order perfect although they are very busy on Saturday nights. Every time I order I always get somthing extra but it’s different always which is a lovely surprise and they are always good. When collecting I love having a popadom while I wait which nobody else does. Great little take away and will always recommend!

Village Tandoori is by far the best in the village. The people there are amazing and know how to look after customers. Their service is amazing, and their food is awesome. The portions they give are massive and the prices are reasonable. They have never let me down of the 6 years i have been going to them and they have always given a few extras which is always good as its always a suprise.10/10! Greatttt

This place is absolutely brilliant. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I moved to Abbots Langley a few weeks ago and there is so much Indian around it’s hard to choose but this one by far is the number 1. Would recommend :)

This is by far the best takeaway out there. It is run by a lovely family who are well known in the village and are the best. The food, service is great. Any issues they are so happy and quick to resolve which is what you need.

Takeaways from here are great value. Food is good and the portion sizes versus low prices make this my ‘go to’ Indian takeaway in Abbots Langley

Booked a takeaway a couple of hours in advance so it would be delivered just before the football.

Brilliant, tasty take-away. Every dish is different in colour and garnished well, not the variation on one basic curry which is encountered at other places.

Food is 1st Class. Good choices on menu. Friendly Staff and Fast delivery. Would definitely recommend.

Really good food at a very reasonable price. Portion size is generous and you can’t go wrong with the Wednesday banquet night

Had a king prawn madras which was gorgeous, plenty of prawns in a lovely spicy tomato sauce, special fried rice was great as well. Generous portions but done well. In Abbots Langley get the best forget the overpriced rest! You won't regret it.

Abbots Langley is blessed with great takeaways yet I continue to buy my Indian food from here. The portion sizes are huge, priced really well and tasty too. Delivery is quick and a favourite is the creamy Sag Ponir

This was the first time we had ordered a takeaway from here and it was absolutely delicious. The food was tasty and flavoursome, will definitely use Village Tandoori again.

Wow this food was amazing!!! It was the best Indian takeaway we've ever eaten. The kids loved the korma it was full of flavor and the chicken just melted in your mouth. The chicken tikka masala was also full of flavor the chicken was tender and fresh, we also had a lamb rogan josh which is the best I'VE EVER HAD! Full of fresh ingredients and flavour, the portion sizes were great too. The onion bhaji you get a portion of 2 so that was enough for the 4 of us, the naan bread an also the pilau rice were also tasty! It was an hour wait for delivery but we were told that and for food that tasty it was well worth the wait.

Having just moved into Abbots Langley, we ordered a takeaway the first evening. Absolutely gorgeous food! Large portions and very tasty. Would highly recommend. Easy to order online.

Whether I go for a take away in the spring, summer, autumn or winter the service and the food are always of a consistently high standard.

Tried this place for the first time and we will return. Went on to place the order. Lovely staff offered us seat and some popadoms while we waited. The food was tasty and large portions (enough to keep for another day). Will definitely go back.

I've been having take aways from here for years, the food can be a bit hit or miss it does a sunday banquet which is great value when its a hit the food is great and when its a miss it still aint to bad

I like using this place, good food good price. There are four Indian restaurants in the village however this is the best value as no restaurant overheads as take away. Never been disappointed with the quality or quantity.

food is not as good as it should be still better than Noor Mahal.taste is decent. Needs more spice.

Awful take away so dry the food arrived luke warm main course chicken korma dry hardly any sauce will never use this restaurant again.....my advice avoid

Este tiene la mejor comida en el pueblo, llevar o servicio de entrega es de primera clase. Nuestro pueblo tiene 4 restaurantes indios pero la comida en el pueblo está a calles recto Tandoori de los otros. He comido en todos ellos. Nuestra familia ha comido comida desde aquí continuamente durante 20 años, siempre fresco y muy sabroso y excelente relación calidad-precio. Los chefs fabuloso. Confío en que podría competir con cualquier restaurante similar. Opciones para vegetarianos y el arroz shahi es el mejor que he probado en cualquier parte del mundo.

He usado el pueblo Tandoori durante 20 años ahora ya que abrió sus puertas por primera vez. Comida para llevar seguirán siendo una excelente relación calidad-precio y consistentemente bueno con raciones enormes, son sus noches de banquetes increíble relación calidad-precio.

Un pequeño pueblo, pero con 4 restaurantes indios o haber intentado llevar a todos y esto es mucho mejor que el resto precio razonable buena comida y entrega constante es rápido llevar sólo pero bien vale la pena recomendar a todos

We live in the village and always like to get our take away from here although there are several other others unfortunately we have noticed that the quality and quantity has gone down in our estimation of late food has become very bland and items have now been forgotten twice if you want local people to support you please give continuity and good service and add a little spice to our life

Ali and his family have now provided our naughty take away treats for over 12 years now and we would never go anywhere else. The food is always fresh, tasty and generous. They provide half portions for our children (and wife) and have always been delivered supremely quickly. The poppadum's are always free and fresh and the consistency others crave in a take away is without question. The variety of dishes on the menu has always been good and they work tirelessly to ensure the customer is always satisfied. Try this once and you'll never look back. Another thing to mention if you are having a few people round give them advance warning and you will not be disappointed.

I've used the village tandoori ever since moving to the village 14 years ago.I have to say that the quality ( not to mention Quantity) is unsurpassed.There is a very good resturant here in the Abbots Tandoori and the take away food from the 'Village' is every bit as good.Another review mentioned the Sunday buffet.......tip don't even try and eat it all, save the leftovers and you will have another meal!The staff are friendly and they delivery just about spot on the 30-40 mins it takes to cook it. Another small. Touch is they always give us free popadums.Totally recommend it

The best in the village 4 take aways and restaurants in a small village but this is hard to beat great value and sunday buffet is value for money and free delivery

We have tried several of the local restaurants which may be great when you eat in but rubbish for takeouts. Village only do takeout. their food is fresh, generous, and very good value. Not the fastest meal in the world, but definitely worth the wait! ill only use them when I need to eat at home from now on!
