Bombay Kitchen in Three Rivers

Really, really peed off this evening. We had a delivery as usual (which we pay extra for as we are in Chipperfield) and received poppadoms that were really past their best (not crispy at all) and we were missing the peshwari naan which pretty much ruined the meal. The other dishes were good/very good, but to be missing a naan was very annoying. We rang about it and were told it would be taken off the next order… however, I’m not inspired to make a return visit - especially since I would always have leftovers the following day - but, again, there will be no naan with it….

Great BYOB curry. Good value for money

This is one of the best Indian meals I’ve had I think ever and I’ve been to India multiple times! We got all veg dishes and they were all amazing, the paneer tikka was fabulous. The stuffed paratha was so tasty. Fast delivery too and all super hot when it arrived. 100% recommend.

These guys are at the top of their game. No alcohol so take your own and be sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.

We have never eaten in here, but have had numerous collection and delivery orders. When we’ve collected, the staff have been friendly, and the atmosphere of those eating in seems enjoyable. The important thing though is the food, and it’s awesome. Variation, with plenty of classics, but contemporary choices too. Very impressive food and reasonable pricing too. Give it a go, as we’ve used all the other (admittedly very good) Indian restaurants, but this is the best.

Our second time here and it didn't disappoint..such friendly staff, a calm atmosphere and superb freshly cooked food to die for, a real gem, if you haven't tried it..you should 5* we will return..

Fantastic service. Ordered and ready within 20 minutes. Talked to the chef as I picked it up. Love that kind of service. Food tasted great, meat was fantastic and the Bombay Aloo tasted very nice. Highly recommend.

Had a really nice meal at here last week. It's worth mentioning they are not licensed to sell alcohol, so it's bring your own.

Having been recommended we thought we would give it a try. Incredibly helpful when taking the order. The food was amazing. A great chicken vindaloo, and an amazing proper sweet/sour veggie dhansak. Onion bhajis were lovely and the chicken tikka was perfect. Very, very pleased with this place and we will definitely use you again. We live in Chipperfield and had it delivered (small charge for a further away delivery). Thank you to you all.

food tasted lovely my friend ali loved it and ate it all up with some pasta bolaegnaase, it was a bit stinky though and kavee felt sick in his home

This restaurant is compact and modern. With super staff. It's not currently licenced, so you can bring your own and pay just £1.50 for corkage. The food is delicious and well presented. Their naan bread is the best! Came here for Valentines day with family. They do a special Banquet Menu on Wed & Sun. It's a great deal including starter, main, side, nan/rice and coffee. Toilets are clean. Highly recommended.

First time ordering and unfortunately not happy. Waited well over an hour for delivery. Onions baji was hard and not nice at all. Food was bland. Lamb was so hard/tough it was inedible. And the keema in the keema rice was so dry and burnt. Upon calling for a delivery update was told 5/10 min, food arrived 40 minutes later. Won’t be returning

I have eaten here many times and the food is always excellent with great service. The chicken tikka jalfrezi is my favourite dish. Bring your own alcoholic drinks.

Had a lovely meal from here on Saturday! The food was ready to be collected in 15-20 minutes! I got the paneer tikka masala which was very delicious with a garlic naan, it also came with a poppadom and salad! First time trying it and will definitely be back! Thank you so much :)

Wednesday night banquet night. Good tasty food. Chilli cheese naan bread is excellent 10/10 Maybe offer ice cream instead of coffee for desert as a suggestion. Recommended

Food was really nice and pleasant staff.

We usually use the standard in Croxley but we had just arrived home from our holiday and was craving a curry but it doesn’t open until 6 and we was starving so we looked for a curry house that opened earlier and we found this little gem, we ordered on line for collection and came across some different dishes which made a nice change and thought we would try them and so pleased we did 😃 the food was piping hot and very very tasty indeed, we definitely recommend trying here, you won’t be disappointed. We are looking forward to dining in next ( and very reasonably priced as well ) 5 STARS from us.

I was there the other day. Good experience. Nice customer service, good food, friendly staff,etc. The King Prawn Shashlick i had was fantastic. Will definitely recommend it for everyone.

It's okay. Bhuna had a really nice taste to the sauce. Rice was okay, lacked a little seasoning. The chicken in the bhuna was really overcooked. Really rubbery and tough to eat which was off-putting. Masala sauce is so sweet it's really not appetising. Roti was really nice. Overall a mixed bag! The main had excessively overcooked meat which kind of ruined the experience.

Take away Disaster tonight ! Food was ment to turn up after 45 mins after order. It arrived 90 mins after I chased the restaurant! Two dishes did not arrive and one dish was wrong! Plain chicken rather than chicken tika. Called restaurant to get the other two dishes, they arrived 20 mins later! Massive disappointment!

We had a lovely meal at Bombay Kitchen. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Yes, there are people coming in to collect their take away orders but this is not an isue. This is our go to take away so we knew that we would be satisfied with the quality of the food. All in all a great value restaurant and well worth a visit.

I’ve literally just come out of this place and there was 9 of us eating and everyone one of us couldn't recommended this anymore it’s was amazing great food and great service looking forward to going back 😁

I ordered a meal to be delivered to the Premier Inn in Watford last month and it was excellent. I will definitely be a repeat customer if work brings me back your way.

We had a table for 7 and had a range of curries and side dishes. The food was fantastic and the service friendly and unobtrusive. As expected, we took our own drinks and enjoyed a two hour meal for the grand total of £110 ...which included a 10% tip! I would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Recently had a takeaway which was good so decided to try a fine in. It's small but clean and the service is good. Currently had no alcohol licence so it was bring your own or soft drinks. Otherwise it would have been 5*. Worth a visit.

I have admiration for this Indian restaurant the Madras I ordered was not like a madras called them this was no problem at all within 10 minutes a new one was delivered and not only just that but rice aswell, not saying the first one was not nice just not madrass hot. The Madrass that was delivered was totally amazing, booked a table to sit in the restaurant next week. You do not get this level of service much these days they take pride in what they do an have the upmost customer service xx

Fantastic light onion bhajees for starters and finished off with the Village Specials curry. This had a delicate spiced flavour in a great sauce. Nice soft naan. Chef was lovely and came out to talk to my wife as she has various allergies- omelet for her. In future we will ring ahead so that she has more choice as he said he could make sure there would be something that was not marinated. I look forward to going back and trying something different.

Ordered and collected on time. Had extra poppadoms which was a good start. Onion bhaghi was cold and dry. King prawn chilli dry fry delicious. Garlic chilli chicken poor. Garlic rice forgot the garlic. Prawn Balti OK. Not a patch on mint but was worth a try.

I have had many takeaways from here and they have always been good, but now reopened as a restaurant with really good food,friendly staff and excellent value.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here, we agreed it was one of the better Indians we've had as a family in recent months. Like the BYO too. Service was attentive and although they were busy with takeouts, they did not neglect those sitting in. We will return!

Ordered a very expensive takeaway. The sauces were watered down, the food was tasteless, I was so disappointed after seeing the 5 star reviews. Such a shame. Never again. Would not recommend

Best indian i had, the food was perfect and delicious. Try Bhoona or Dansak with rice or biriani and naan. Also we had perfect onion bhajis and mix veg curry

Surprising to see some negative reviews here regarding taste & authenticity. I’d question those reviews, frankly, because this place is outstanding in my opinion, and as a true lover and cook of all regional Indian and Bangladeshi food - Aroma Lounge do a great job at a fair price. Very courteous service and delivery (in over 50 times used) has not once been late. Well balanced, flavoursome dishes and meat & fish always been good quality. As for comparing them to that wretched dump, Standard Tandoori - that’s just laughable!

1st meal from Aroma Lounge. Son uses it and recommended. Excellent meal. All freshly cooked with no additives or colourings, so no bright red, yellow or green foods. Definitely be using again.

Good choice of Indian curry dishes, the mushroom biryani, tandoori chicken and crab starter was tasty but a bit on the mild side. Good portion sizes.

Food was tasty and reasonably priced. The ordering process was simple and was ready within 20 minutes. The offer for a free meal for NHS staff is very generous and considerate. However the missus (NHS employee) was not very well after eating!

Wanted to try the new local Indian restaurant as there aren't any decent ones in Croxley (genuinely!), so we thought we would give this place a go. The ordering was smooth and the food was ready in 20 mins, which was great. However, the food was bland a tasted reheated especially the mixed grill, which you could tell was not cooked fresh. The karahi chicken tasted very sweet with no spices. I can't recommend eating from here if you like authentic Indian food.

Have used a few times now and on each occasion found the meal to get better tasting. I also noticed on the last occasion I had more lamb (my preferred choice). I would recommend collection as delivery has for us been a bit slow. Would highly recommend.

Gave this a go as it’s new and local, and with the White Bear’s phone ringing off the hook, we thought we’d support a local startup. No real issues, but average price, for average food. No discount for collection and the website ordering system doesn’t work. The Standard Tandoori in Croxley is superior in terms of taste, service and offering a discount for collection. Personally, I’d rather pay a premium for excellent food; so back to the White Bear.

First time we ordered yesterday. Delivery was on time however food was a real disappointment. Ordered panner tikkamasala and a chicken dish. 5 chunks of Panner in a coconut and tomato Gravy, definitely not what this dish is supposed to be. Taste was very poor. Chicken was dry and no taste. Will not be ordering from here again and do not recommend

Probably the best Indian takeaway I have had in a very long while - very pleased and will be ordering again; the food was very, very tasty, and not greasy at all - it was clearly freshly prepared. Very good.

Just had first meal from the new restaurant. Food was excellent not greasy. Delivery very prompt and properly socially distanced. Recommend support your local businesses you wont be disappointed.

Ordered our meal at 7pm was told an hour. Still hadn't got it by 9pm. Had to go and collect it. Will not use them again

Had a delivery Friday evening we were looking forward to trying this new Indian restaurant ordered just before 6 pm was told it would be 50 mins rang at 7.10 told would be another 10 minutes turned up 7.30 ok I get they are going to be busy but would have been nice if they contacted me ,food was ok nothing great unfortunately, way to much oil in 2 of my dishes and the lamb missing completely from village special I would have rang and told them about it but by this time we needed to eat
