Seriously….. $9.00 for this????!!!!! We are nurses here at Hilton Head Hospital and wanted to get something good to eat. 4 of us ordered the cheese dip and this is what you bring us? Absolutely ridiculous!!!!

This is the worst ever, you get better Indian or Bangladeshi in weatherspoon. The waiters were lovely and attentive but food was honestly, cooked in old oil etc, very dissatisfied , all my family are from catering and I know how difficult job is but the food is bland,

Went on a Sunday evening. Food was very tasty. Was surprised to see so much chicken breast in the dish - real quality ingredients and great value for money. Will def be going back. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A gem of a find!

This was our first visit, and l was so glad we did. There were nine of us. We ordered dishes so we could share and try more flavours. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be returning soon.

We got a takeout tonight by FAR THE BEST INDIAN in Hertfordshire and the best Indian we’ve had so far…. Beautiful food great service - highly recommend! Compliments to the staff and kitchen!

Smart and spacious layout this is only about 100 metres from Carpenders Park station and parking is available directly outside and in the carpark on the opposite side of Station Approach. We phoned but couldn't get through. Shortly afterwards they phoned back. Placed order for collection. Adequate waiting area for collection. Staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent, well cooked good ingredients and not greasy. The King prawn Jalfrezi and fish Buna are highly recommended. Will definitely be visiting again, we will try sit down.

A loyal customer for many years and the food just as good as always

I would not rate this place at all. A real disappointment. Ordered lamb curry mushroom rice and peshwari naan. Got 5 small pieces of mutton swimming in a tasteless sauce. The rice was drowning in oil no salt or taste to it and the naan was just horrible. This is what i call an indian for "the white man". Not for indians at all. If i was the owner i would get another chef.

We have always found the Blue Lagoona restaurant to be very good whether it's a take out meal or dinning in. The food is always very well prepared, and served freshly from the kitchen. It always taste excellent. I would definitely recommend the blue lagoona for an Indian meal. Staff are very friendly and polite and helpful.

First time I'd ordered from this place my daughter just come back from uni so we thought we'd have a treat and I'd had so many people say how lovely this place was both dishes tikka masala and tika bhuna I had a lot of sauce but not very much chicken and the chicken was quite overcooked I ordered onion barges they were rock hard the pila rice did n't really taste of anything no to be honest did the sauce I couldn't eat the chicken already any of it as I'm disabled and cannot digest overcooked food The only decent thing where the pompadoms the potato Bombay had hardly any taste to it as well I actually spent £36.20 I gave them $37 which is a lot of money for me to spend out especially nowadays but I thought as a treat and was expecting it to be really good but I'm sorry it wasn't I even tried putting a little bit of garlic and chili on it myself didn't make any difference

So disappointed of the service of this restaurant. I called for takeaway., as I have ordered for just £9 the receptionist was not happy as it’s not a big order., after 20 minutes when I call for confirming to collect to make sure that the food is prepared, he said why you are calling again in a annoying tone. When I collect the food I explained him about his manner and I said this is not the way to behave to the customer .,first he said sorry with an angry face just for saying then he was so rude in front of other and said never come to our restaurant. In my life time this is the first time I Ihave faced such a rude receptionist., I don’t know that he is a receptionist or owner or manager of the place but his emotional behaviour is not acceptable.

Came here for a meal with my wife and a couple of friends on Thursday night. The food was very good and the service matched the quality of the meal. Reasonably priced as well and the restaurant had a nice calm atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a good Indian meal in a nice restaurant

i ordered chicken Biryani , Saag aloo , and onion Bhaji, the biryani was nice and tasty 10/10 , the saag aloo was nice but too many chunky potatoes could have been more moisture 8/10, onion bhaji was a bit of a let down , tasted like something you would pick up from costcutter , tasted better from costco 5/10 , will go back though and tell them what i thought .

The food was very good. very little oil and its always a very good quality. Its a restaurant of the community, I have seen everyone from South oxhey at some point in here. Keep it up lads!

Nice resturant good food. exceptionally tasty. Good and attentive waiting staff. Excellent value for money. Also they do takeaway service and never had any problems with it. Can order online or over the phone.

I would describe the food here as very average. Service was acceptable but not as attentive as I would have expected considering how quiet it was. Overall not somewhere I would rush too again.

As a British Goan, who loves Indian food and has been to many Indian restaurants in different countries, here's a well qualified review! I went for the 'Eat as much as you like' buffet. It was good value for money with decent service and it's also very clean. However as a Goan who loves authentic Indian food I had hoped for spicier dishes but even the Chicken Tikka Masala lacked any real spice! Also the system is not as simple as you may think. The staff were good but they could improve the service by explaining how the offer works. In addition to the usual 'help yourself buffet' they give a pair of customers a big plate of starters and naan bread. It's not clear if you have to pay extra. I suppose additional items on the starter or naan bread would be free but it's not clear as we didn't ask for more.. This explanation would help the restaurant too. Overall, great value for a late Sunday lunch but it could improve with some more authentically spiced dishes and a clear explanation of what is included.

Since the Blue Lagoona reopened in Station Approach, my friends and I decided to try out the Sunday buffet. I’m so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious, and I’m looking forward to going back again. For £9.95 (adults) we had a starter of chicken, onion Bahji and salad, followed by an 'eat as much as you like' buffet which included two chicken dishes, a lamb dish, a vegetable curry and a potato dish, all served with naan bread that was replenished if we ran out. The only extras we had to pay for were drinks and poppadoms. All of the food tasted fabulous, the staff were super friendly, and we didn't feel rushed at all. I shall definitely be going back soon!

Never ever would go again in this highly disqualified food quality as well as service ... People dont go trust my words.. Better to go and eat Tesco sandwich or chicken shop wings

Been here twice since the reopening and both meals have been very nice. The high standers were set when I went there for the first night and the quality of the food and staff continued when I went again, very consistent. As I’ve said in a previous Indian cuisine review, I’m picky and fussy, so a 5* is a real compliment. It is well deserved though, I actually can’t think of on fault. So when your not sure what to eat one evening, give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

So happy this restaurant is back open as it was greatly missed by me & all my friends.

I went there on Friday after reading some good reviews for a takeaway, and got to say I won't be going back as I don't eat meat anymore so go for the Fish and veg dishes and went for the Chana Masala as one of my didhes, never have i ever come across a Chana Masala with NO Taste and No chilli's, I make my own and is much more tastier than Blue Lagoona's. I often go Northwood way for my takeaways and rarely get dissappointed. Shame as I had high hopes after reading the reviews. Even the Naan bread was abit too doughy not crispy as I like. The Price hike is understandble but doesn't match Other Indians around.

I like to go to Blue Lagoona for Sunday lunch when they provide a tasty buffet with good choices at a reasonable price. Excellent value. However, times change and they now do not seem to be open for Sunday lunch. Sorry to remove a star!

Tried to overcharge me when I was getting my takeaway. Put higher price on one item in the invoice. When I asked about it the guy tried to give me some bul..it that its for a delivery. When I showed him their menu where its clearly says that delivery is free on orders over £12 the guy tried to give me another bul..it that it was a charge for paying by card although he did not know how I would pay. Finally, when I said I would pay cash, he amended the invoice. Just wandering if thats a restaurant policy or that particular waiter initiative :/ Would not say the food was great either

Hadn’t been in years so was wondering if things had changed, they hadn’t. Very nice food, good portion size and fairly priced. Nice decor, great atmosphere as the place was really busy. Slightly slow service but that’s better than being rushed through.

Fifteen of us went to the banquet evening; & all had a selection of dishes. The food & service was excellent & there was more than ample food & value for money. I would certainly recommend this restaurant

Just had two chicken tikka byrianis after having a really nice one a couple of Saturdays ago, tonight is a Monday evening and it was as if it was a completely different restaurant .... bleugh!! It was horrible!! Nothing nice about any of including the complimentary popadoms.

Laguna es un muy digno nombre para la comida que se sirve aquí. Comí aquí y la carne en mi plato me sentí como si lo hubieran anclado. Si me dijeron que la salsa (no lo llamaría salsa) era finas sería una parodia de la justicia. El propietario debe reemplazar el vino de la casa con Brew especial o super tennents porque la "salsa" que la carne en mi plato estaba anclado en sería una mejor forma a los paladares. lavarse la boca de hacer gárgaras y luego tomar un zumo de naranja, gusto experiencia puro es destruido.

We used to get them to deliver food every week. Then we moved away. Now back in the area. Delicious clean and not greasy Indian food. We had one chicken tikka, 2 rice and four different vegetable dishes for 2 of us. Happily stuffed to the gills. No ill effects as food so NOT oily. Perfect.

Clean, fresh and modern. The food is tasty and not like other 3rd rate Indian restaurants in the area. I totally recommend here, the friendly and well informed staff will tailor your experience to your liking. The pricing is fair, in fact under priced but it suits the local residencies. Even before I lived in the area I ordered takeaway and food delivery. Always great food and great service from the friendly, attentive staff. Have eaten in here many times and never been disappointed. Very good range of dishes to choose from with Mixed Thali, chicken tikka masalla amongst my favourites. Mixed Biryani is the best food I've had delivered. Great choice of drinks at the venue all very well priced. I do like other Indian Restaurants (Dine India, north Watford for example) but Blue Lagoona (how it is spelt on the venue, menus etc) is the best. Been here on my own, as a couple and as part of a large group and service, food, drinks have always been of the highest standard.

Visited here on a number of occasions and must admit the food is always up to a good standard. Good service and the owner is always friendly and welcoming. Takeaway is available but it's always nice to eat in. Yes it's on the edge of a big estate and as another contributor says, get over it and pay a visit. Lovely place and fully recommended

This is on the edge of a very large council estate and this puts some people off. Get over this nonsensical idea and head there. The food is always of a high quality and great value. Especially on a Tuesday evening. The Blue Laguna Special and any Bhuna are my favourites. Very family friendly, they move tables to allow us to get a buggy in between our group. Eaten in loads of Indian restaurants around the country who claim to be "the curry centre of the UK" and this establishment is amongst the best.

After living in the area for over 8 years we finally visited this restaurant. What a waste of 8 years, all 4 of us agreed the food was of the highest quality and very resonably priced. The service was very attentive too.Will definately be going back soon.

Went on a Tuesday night 3 course`s for £10.95 Cant go wrong. Waiters are very good and friendly no real complaints. Food has got better over the years.
