Delicious (and actually spicy!) indian cuisine! Everything was perfect and the staff are very welcoming!

Lovely dinner at Masala Bowl cannot recommend enough, my first visit from the famous alleyway, best customer service experience and the food was A++ great for party or commercial events plus they deliver..

Menu choices are attractive, but all items dint made to the standard.

Had a wonderful time for a birthday party, service was a little slow at first but they made up for it. Food was spot on and a DJ afterwards to dance the night away. Will deffo visit again.

We recently dined at Masala Bowl and were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by two staff members, Shivangi and Monica. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel immediately welcome. Throughout the meal, they were attentive, ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Their knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot on, enhancing our culinary journey. We were a large group of 35 and everything was catered for by Sanjay and his fab team to such a high standard. Food was excellent, service was fantastic and to top it all brilliant music. Our family had such a fun evening. Thank you to the entire team on yesterday evening for making it memorable.

Enjoyable but a few things on the menu were not available which was disappointing

Had been here yesterday along with a few other families, for a friend's birthday celebration. The food was amazing. The traditional Indian fare of paneer dishes, bhindi fries, bread, vegetable curries were all amazing. The corn fritters and the cauliflower fry with a korean tinge, were awesome. We were served by Shivangi, who was very patient and gracious. The atmosphere, the seating and the ambience were awesome as well with decorations. Recommend this place.

Good food and high standards of customer service.

Food was good but just the lamb which in my opinion had more vegetables & less meat . Great service especially from Shivangi . The atmosphere & music was excellent.

Lovely atmosphere and interiors, very quirky! Staff were attentive and food came out fairly quickly. Our only gripe was that the food was a little bland, we had to add extra salt/lemon on almost all of our dishes hence the 3 stars. There are however a lot of vegetarian options.

We were in the mood for hot & spicy food rather than pub fare and hadn't had a good curry since arriving in the UK. So we headed here. We were surprised that 1) the place was devoid of customers after 2pm and 2) that it didn't have the look and feel of a traditional curry restaurant. Both surprises were a great lesson in not judging a book by its cover. :-) In fact, it felt like an American diner or teen hangout. Everything was psychedelic and colourful with the main colour being pink, including their menus. The ambience of the place was all very original indeed, down to the modern Indian music! The staff were pleasant with smiles throughout. The food most importantly was delicious! They made great recommendations and we were delighted and satisfied with everything! The paneer tikka masala and the dhaba lamb karahi were amazing, as was the naan bread which were the lightest, fluffiest, tastiest we've had anywhere! Highly recommended and we would definitely go again if we were passing by Rickmansworth!

We were served hot food on cold plates. Ordered mild and got spicy. Pizza look like from tesco and rubbery. Indian spices for sides were direct from freezer. Food arrived untimely as everyone ate at different times. Perhaps, it was just after Xmas and we caught them on a bad day. Sadly consistency failed.

This restaurant is really welcoming and has a huge range of food on offer. We were served by someone who was informative about the menu and even offered us a free dish to try! Really good value for money, lovely staff and will come again!

Ordered a takeaway. May be better in the restaurant but food was not nice at all delivered…..and I live down the road so no reason it should be as cold as it was

So impressed. Great varied fusion menu, we didn’t know what to get so the waiter explained some of the starters and we went with his recommendations. Food was fantastic, very impressed. Lovely staff, the chef even came out to say hi. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

It was my first time here, and I must say, what an amazing place with amazing food. Management were absolute gems. If you want good, tasty, fresh food, this is your place, you won't be disappointed!

Mention the food mild or ultra mild before placing the order. It would be made as per the taste. Pizza is only on weekends even though it is in the regular menu.

We decided to try here for a change from a Sunday roast and we are so glad we did, we all love curry but this hidden gem is a exception and so authentic, we asked for recommendations and we had a fantastic selection of starters and mains even the chef came to see us. The staff are very friendly but not in your faces We will be returning for sure.

Very mixed experience Street food was unique and different. The starters normally something that you always look forward too but not worth trying at all, basic dishes like chilli paneer should be amazing but we’re not anything close. The mains were better but the some of the nan came out like crisps which is always frustrating! We were the only table in at the time but service was lacking, not one of the 6 employees there was attentive so service was honestly pants! Seems like a waste to me as the atmosphere is the only thing that stood out. I don’t think I’d go back.

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at Masala Bowl. It was a really wonderful evening with delicious food, peaceful ambience and good service by the staff. We got a little late in reaching but the staff gave us ample of time to choose from the menu without any rush! They also gave us a celebratory little cake after learning that it was our anniversary, and it was really very generous of them. Food was delicious, I especially loved the pani puri! We'll definitely visit there again. :)

Excellent food with good service

Lovely place for nice local dinner. Only ordered 3 dishes but it was delicious. Tried the Indian fusion cocktails which were nice touch.

It is a very welcoming place. We had a selection of vegetarian dishes which were reasonably priced. A young lady by the name of Shivangi served us very attentively. The ambience is good. I will visit this place again soon.

Would definitely recommend. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming and made sure that we had an enjoyable evening, the service was speedy and the food was delicious. 10/10

Awesome taste and varieties of Indian food

We ordered takeaway for collection. It’s definitely a bit pricier than your bog standard Indian but the quality is also noticeably higher. Service was great. Food was off the charts delicious. Rich, authentic flavours that reminded me of my Grandma’s home cooked curries. Looking forward to going back and eating in next time. Would highly recommend.

I went here with family a few nights ago - Amazing experience. We ordered the Panipuri roulette and malai kofta as our main dishes and they were very tasty. The interiors are well decorated and welcoming - it was a pleasure to dine here.

Food gave 4 family members food poisoning. For £100 my father mum sister and I were unwell for 3 days and sick straight this meal. It was the worst experience after a restaurant in our entire life. Imagine if a immuno-compromised person had your food? My mum is 70 and being violently sick after your food is not okay nor is cooking your food twice a week acceptable. we also noticed several fruit flies swarming around. You need to get your health and safety in check. Clearly everyone would’ve got sick last night. We will never return and you should consider your ethics trying to hide the fact you made a family SICK with your toxic food. Shambolic

Just had lunch here and will definitely be going back. Nice to have some where that offers a different menu. Also had a lot of Asian diners in there which is always a good indicator that it is a food Indian restaurant.

Ordered the food from them via uber eats. Never got delivered and the girl who was on the phone was rather unhelpful. Eventhough I have been to this restaurant many times in the past and even taken many friends over there. But the person on the phone does not value a good cutomer which is quite disheartening and I suppose this would be the last time I order anything from them

Amazing food, wonderful staff (Shivangi) with bollywood songs.. lamb Chops, haryali chicken and methi corn masala was really yum..

We had been putting up an art exhibition at nearby Watersmeet Theatre and wandered down the High Street to find somewhere for a late lunch. What a great treat we discovered. Delicious food, attentive service and reasonable prices! We will be back!

Nice place, but having been only one time cannot really comment on the full menu. We only had starters and based only on those it seemed slightly low on spices and overpriced. But again could be due to an unfortunate choice of items from the menu.

Not sure why this place is highly rated. The food was expensive, in small portions and overspiced. I was annoyed as my lamb curry was very dry. Menu also hard to understand

The food was so delicious. Chicken tikka masala and chicken kharari with mushroom pilau rice. The staff were so friendly and even the chef came out from the kitchen to check we were happy 😁 with the food. Were more than happy to heat my gluten free naan that I bought in with me.

Had a wonderful meal here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday! The food was delicious, the portions were generous and they brought out a complimentary brownie for his birthday and sung him happy birthday!

Ordered four items via deliveroo. Whilst the delivery time isn't the restaurant's fault, the food was genuinely terrible. Jeera Chicken - uncooked and just slapped the marinade on top Achari Paneer - similar to the jeera chicken and tasteless Crispy Bhajiya - rock hard. Refried three times? Mogo - an OK dish. Quality check needed when sending out as it was disgusting.

Chicken birayani deliveroo delivery was very lacklustre, chunks of low quality boned chicken, no vegetables at all, over cooked dried rice. Relatively nicely spiced flavours, but very disappointing, would not recommend. Will not use again.

We had booked a large party of 20 just the day before. The restaurant were very accommodating. Their service and quality of food has improved incredibly.

Lovely decor, ambience and service. We ordered mainly starters and they were all delicious. The staff were really lovely. Most of all the restaurant and restroom was v clean which is really important for me, especially as many Indian restaurants are diabolically dirty Ordered takeaway on another occasion- again starters and mains were all amazing!

Would recommend, the service was good and accommodating, a large group of us. Also like to thank the staff, as one of the party forgot some expensive gifts, and the staff held them there until they were collected. So thank you. Staff were very friendly and the food was good. Well done, and great to see the music at the end and everyone encouraged to join in old and young.

This is simply a brilliant version of Indian Curry. The guys here are fabulous and the food was amazing. It was also a bit different, different in a good way. I heartily recommend giving it a go.

Good food, good music, good staff. The chicken tandoor barai was amazing! (My wife stole half of it). We also had the chef come at the end of night for feedback which we were happy to give and is something you don't see much in London. The paan mocktail was great as well. I will definitely be coming back.

Very warm n cozy place with colourful ambiance 🌈 we loved the tandoori dishes rich smoky flavours remind me of India! Kurkuri bhindi I will recommend the most to try… last but not the least dahi puri ! So yummmm!!!!! Outstanding! Fabulous! Superb!

Food was really really great. At Wembley as well as rickmansworth. All the staff members were equally attentive to every customers. Specifically i will mention Suruchi, she was really helpful. It was great experience for me.

Really great food and service - we got some plates to share, we just had veggie options, but I would come back to try to non-veg options!
