I pre ordered meals for my team at work and they were putting in a late shift and would need dinner. I ordered this food for 7-7:30pm, however the restaurant ordered it two hours early. I called and explained that it was delivered way too early, and no one would be there to pick it up and that is why it was pre-ordered for a certain time. They apologised for their mistake and said that they would send out an order for the time requested. 7:30pm rolled around and no food was re-delivered. I called up again and they said I lied about the first conversation ever happening. I lost out on £40 for no fault of my mine and the man at the restaurant was incredibly rude. I will never recommend. As The owner replied saying fake review - I have attached receipts to prove that calls were made and so were orders. Once again calling a customer a liar. Shame on you.

Ordered via Uber eats the food was 1hr late, called the restaurant to check where the food was and was abruptly cut off by the staff stating they are very busy...Rude The food finally arrived and it was absolutely HIDEOUS through most tasteless, badly prepared greasy food we've ever had, we had 6 dishes and not 1 dish had any flavour, absolutely hideous I would advise anyone thinking of trying this place, trust us you will be VERY DISAPPOINTED...AVOID! Honestly a microwave meal from asda would taste better and would be a lot cheaper.

Ordered this first time last night to bushey, ordered a butter chicken, korma, cheese naans etc I've been trying to find the right tasting butter chicken for absolutely ages having ordered from many different places being left disappointed, when I tried this one OMG absolutely love it, the taste is perfect, the consistency,the chicken! My partner loved the korma too! And it arrived roasting hot! Very very impressed, will 100% be ordering again, thank you the the chef and staff! Keep up the great work! After some years ordering here finally here is my review. Having tried Hunton Spice just once I had an overwhelming level of "nothing can beat this! Its the best" delivered with happiness and joy and passion for Indian food..8 years later having tried most dishes, food here is always of great quality 10/10. Your going to a restaurant? Why when restaurant like experience can come home!..🛬and also made according to our preferences. Overall Brilliant!! Thank you so much🛫 xxx

Ordered at 5:30 pm for delivery at 7pm. Got a call from driver at wrong address! I then Phoned up to be told our order wasn’t out for delivery yet!driver turns up with our order 7:35pm.someone was telling lies. Had to reheat everything. Food was not good. Smallest pieces of dried chicken. Dried up onion bhajis. Now I remember why I stopped ordering from there. The reply from the owner must be for another review. I did not receive a refund. The food we received was cold, it was all dry and it arrived late. Award winning chiefs, award from who?

I ordered lamb curry and two chapattis. £14 later the so called Lamb curry contained 7 pieces about 3\4 of an inch (that's being generous). I was charged £14 for the so called curry and two chapattis. I am half Indian and cook myself. To say it is the worst I have ever had is an understatement. STAY AWAY

Best Indian takeaway in the area, friendly & efficient service! Their Hyderabadi Biryani is just out of the world, tasty & good size portion too.

My absolute take a away, favourite in Abbots, The service is fantastic, I never actually know what I'm getting! I ask for a dish similar to.... and they always send something bespoke and Wonderful. Cannot recommend enough. enjoy x

Some of the reviews left below are not true! Chef is still the same & I met him this Saturday. I have been a regular to this amazing Indian Takeaway for nearly 7 years, never had any problems. Very friendly and down to earth guys with amazing food.

This use to be the best curry I'd ever had...until Saturday night. I can truly say that it went in the bin. Possibly the toughest chicken I've had the displeasure of eating! What has changed?? Sort it out! Won't be back as so disappointed.

Used to be amazing food one of the best I have Have used i had been going here for around 6 years staff friend and quick delivery, BUT ITS NOW Under new management and gone down hill a lot in the last couple months. The food became bland and just hot and tasteless about 3 months ago colour was different chicken always dry. Seemed like a different chef so I popped in to see what was going on and the guy told me it was new managers but chef the same, however this is not quite true as the old owner was the main chef and he has now gone. All the staff not as friendly delivery is done my just eat and they get lost every time. I gave them the benefit of doubt hoping it would get better but after 2 months ay least 3 times a months and every time being disappointed it's now time to move on elsewhere such a shame. Hope you read this and get a new chief

We tried this take away as our usual Indian restaurant was closed. We did not know what to expect but the food was tasty and plentiful. All three of us had different dishes and all were delicious. We will be ordering again in the future.

Unbelievably unprofessional. I place my order at 5:15 PM through Uber eat and the restaurant cancels it in the Uber app at 6:49 PM. I call the restaurant and they tell me they have canceled the order because my address is too far away and they only have one driver today. No apology, no call to advise me of the cancellation.

Hunton Spice is a great takeaway restaurant. I loved the menu and the staff are so friendly. I especially loved the strawberry ice cream dessert definitely coming back.

I ordered a lamb passanda and the lamb was really tough and very hard to cut. I left it all. It seemed as if it was left over from yesterday. This was my first time ordering a delivery from them and it will be my last.

Since living in Hunton Bridge for 4 years I must admit to using this takeaway on average once a week. I am a good cook and eat out in good restaurants. I have never been disappointed ever in the food nor the generosity of the portions. They always oblige me with any special orders or requirements and I find the food tasty, great value and if i have used the place 200 times I haven't once had cause to complain and trust me i would.

Ordered via just eat-the order was late and when i called to see why they said driver was stuck in traffic,then when i called again he would be here in 2 mins-then they called to say i hadnt even placed an order with them i must of rang the wrong place! Completely unapolagetic with regards to the lateness and man i spoke to had a very blasè attitude. They rang just eat to say they had then found our order but we got our food elsewhere after that!

This used be one of the best takeaways in Watford. We hadn’t used it for awhile. After this experience we won’t try again. Food was 30mins late. Called up and told 3mins which was 10mins. Food was cold in some cases and the Madras curry was watery with a microwaved chicken breast added. Awful. Avoid.

Got a collection from here on a snowy night.Was originally told the 20% didn’t apply because of the weather!!! Even though I was collecting!The web app said it would take 20 minutes to cook.I waited in the shop for 40 minutes so it took an hour to cook! (This was very early evening)Food was awful, chicken was burnt dry and tasteless.Prawns were underwhelming only a few in a tasteless sauce even the nan bread was tasteless.I didn’t bother ringing complaining given how rude they were when I was waiting but I will never ever ever ever visit this place again.To give it a 1 star is 1 star to many

this is our favourite take away, they are friendly people who cook quality tasty food. We have a big choice of other Indian restaurants but this is our go to favourite.

We used them a few times over the last 12 years, but this evening was the worse. We placed an order via JustEat. The delivery took just under an hour. The good was bland and tasteless. When I called the complain, I was met with excuses (tuff if you don’t like it) and no effort to fix it. They have juts lost a 12 year old customer and we will never ever ever use them again. What a shame as they could have rectified the problem so easily. Do not waste your money at this restaurant. please !

Dreadful watery veg curry, if I wanted soup I would by a tin, tasteless rice, they forgot mango chutney, if these guys are chefts then I'm the bloody Prime minister, never order from them again

Had to refuse delivery after driver was rude and aggressive to my husband. Call restaurant to conplaint and obtain a refund as payment was made via card, to also very rude and aggressive 'management'. Don't waste your money or time.

Absolutely useless, ordered through Just Eat at 5pm,they received the order at 5.03pm but denied ever receiving it,ordered and paid for online but no food!!! Then followed a series of rude phone calls,still denying the ordered was placed. Keep away...............
