The best restaurants serving Indian food in Derby East Midlands

went to try the food out and it didn't disappoint the samosas and the spring rolls were especially really nice with their sauce.

Ordered a takeaway on New Year’s Eve and it was the best curry I’ve had on my visit to family in derby Superb cannot go wrong, I strongly recommend you to try the king prawn + chicken Masala

Staff are very pleasant, great service. Food is always nice and cooked to my liking. They welcome children and the environment has a calm feel. Everything arrives on time and overall we really enjoy our visit to this restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. Pleased to have found this place and no doubt will continue to visit.

Absolutely beautiful as always. Been coming her for a while and it never ever disappoints! The whole staff are polite and welcoming they cannot do enough for you. The food is really fresh and full of flavour. Alcoholic drinks are available and reasonably priced. Honestly think it’s the best curry house in Derbyshire Maybe even the whole East Midlands. Definitely recommend to anybody!

Ordered Saag Paneer and Aloo Gobi for delivery. First time customer and I was highly surprised at how good it was. Exceptional taste. A very pleasant surprise to find this gem in Derby.

Delivery very good, on time and polite but a Very poor curry, chicken tikka masala very bland to the point of I’ve had tastier out of a jar, rice was very watery to the point of having a puddle on the plate and the cheese nan was not cheesy and poor. Popadoms and pickles were the best part of this very disappointing meal.

Used to order almost weekly but since they've changed hands, the food was unappetising, extremely disappointing. I'd love to know where has the previous owner & staff moved to.

Had a my son’s first’s birthday party and it was an amazing night . Food was delicious fresh everybody loved it ,service was amazing , we had lovely music played on dancing , lovely place nice atmosphere, beautifully designed place . I highly recommending . Definitely will be back!

Great authentic Indian food. Our server, Jay, has excellent customer service and made the whole restaurant experience more enjoyable which is one of the reasons why we keep coming back!

We all from work organised a party about 20 of us went from bestway derby today. I would say the worst restaurant it was. They put a little vit of starters in a plate and it wasn't enough for everyone and waited about 40 mins for the curry and nan to arrive and curry wasn't tasty either, they only put 1 jug of coke on each table which wasn't even enough asked for another 1 but never got another, then ordered desserts and some of them were out of stock and most people never got any even when ordered, waste of time it was going here

Went tonight for the first time with my girlfriend and we loved everything about it. Everyone we spoke to was so nice and friendly especially or waiter. A nice menu with plenty of options that we was spoilt for choice. Had some starters and mains which came out quickly with excellent presentation and tasted so good 🤤 Will be going here again for sure but torn to order the same again as it was s good or tray some other items on the menu.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time this evening. Arrived in good time, very polite and friendly delivery man. Food was piping hot and delicious. This is easily one of the best curries I've ever tasted. I'm extremely fussy but the whole experience was perfect. I will definitely be returning!

Shocking service by there delivery service couldnt find the house and the driver was very nasty on the phone l. we have used empire for years but we will never ever use these again. My wife was very upset over this
