Food was very nice but was a long time coming when it wasn't busy

Guys .. u forgot to deliver coke bottle costing me for £3.50 with my food ordered .. guys please refund for da same now .. pls don’t be mistaken like dis towards ur customers who believe u .. its somewhere disappointing u know ..

Great food but they didn't deliver everything

As always what a fabulous Indian with such a great variety. We love the spice and they can accommodate. Literally they can burn if you like, but don't be afraid they have many authentic dishes for everyone. There is no other place like this in the Midlands. Thank You x

I've been eating here for many years but have not been in since last summer. Nothing's changed, still outstanding service and even more outstanding food. The prices are good, the portions are plentiful, and the mogul remains my choice of Indian restaurant when in the city centre. Quite simply, the best old-school curry house in the city. Thanks, Bobby and the team, for another fantastic experience.

All the curries were too oily and leaked everywhere.

Food good and delivered well before initial delivery time, however very disappointing as some of the items ordered were missing.

Absolutely amazing!! Can’t rate this restaurant highly enough, all the food was fresh and hot. Everyone enjoyed all the dishes and couldn’t complain about a single thing.

A really fantastic place to order great food from. We have ordered many times and tried a fair bit of food they have to offer. I've never had a dish I didn't enjoy and never wait too long before placing the next order. Portions are a great size and always leave you enough for the next day. I would recommend Mogul to anyone who wishes to try and enjoy an authentic and expertly prepared meal!

Never had a bad takeaway order from here. Consistently good food, really tasty and full of flavour, always piping hot when it comes and really generous portion sizes! Impressed every time, highly recommend. The chefs specials are the stand outs.

App told us it had been delivered at 20.10 but didn’t actually arrive until 20.35

The pathia was very mild no spice as stated just tasted like a tomato curry. And the naan rather underwhelming. Really dissapointed as last time we ate here it was lovely

Happened to be in the area and went to this restaurant based on the reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The food is excellent. I’m very boring, but I love a creamy curry and had the korma, and it’s the best one I’ve had in a long time. (Not watery and tasteless like in some places) my partner had the murgi masala and said it was really good. Lovely soft naans. (One garlic and one keema) will definitely visit again

This was a take away order. Website said 60 minutes (like normal), but actually took 2 hours, Chased up with a phone call at 1.40 and told sorry very busy. The meal was nice but no thought of knocking a few bob off or a discount off the next order. Come on guy's, up ya game and when your busy, think about all your customers!

food very nice but a bit disappointed with the two very small chicken samosa especially for the price charged.but like i say food nice.

Don't know if it was yesterday's pie, lager or Curry Mogul's curry, but I've spent all night exploding on the throne. Literally couldn't finish writing the first 10 words of this review without running back to the throne. Not blaming Curry Mogul, but as a precaution, won't be buying from that pie place, pub and Curry Mogul again.

Always great quality food delivered bang on time by friendly staff .

King prawn on puri was good. Curry was bland, two tone, looked mixed together. Everything was good apart from taste, very bland. Would not go back.

A colleague took as here for a pre-wedding party. Great first impressions, with amazing service. The food was tasty as well. I will definitely be coming back.

Cremated lamb chop starter - not exaggerating, it had no taste of lamvI guess that lamb was cooked month ago.. Very very disappointed. Not the first time ordered from this place so not sure what happened but I'm not planing to come back any time soon.

Just popped in on the off chance. It was the best curry we've had in ages. The chef obviously appreciates the importance of good flavour. The servings were really big too, and we ended up taking half of it home. Will definitely be back.

Best Indian food in Derby in my opinion!

One of the best in Derby. I've tried loads and this place still tops most of them by far. Prices are reasonable, not cheap but not pricey either yet the food quality has never let me down to date

Excellent quality food made exactly how I like it! I wouldn’t use another Indian takeaway from anywhere else ❤️ My only issue is the delivery cost. I live literally just around the corner, I’m disabled and can’t go pick it up yet I pay the full delivery! Do I blame Just Eat or The Mogul? Anyway still my favourite ever ❤️

The food was unreal.. I've had currys In many places but they got these perfect for us all... sister had a great 30th

Delivery was 30mins late, so waited a total of 1hr 30 mins. Which wasn’t great was we were going out 15mins after the food arrived. Also lamb was quite tough.

Chicken in the curry was rubbery and horrible . Chips were soggy and bland and everything was cold on arrival won’t be ordering again

Don’t normally review but this was really good. Free popadoms and pickles even though I only had curry and Naan. Masala sauce was 👌🏻

Very disappointed with the take away. When the prices go through the roof and you are spending £40+, and half the order is missing with no offer provided other than we will deliver the rest in 20 minutes, its time to look elsewhere!!

Our driver went above and beyond to find the correct drink after initially turning up with the wrong one. He visited multiple shops to find the correct one and came back very promptly! This guy was amazing

Went here for a late evening meal last night, waiter was really friendly and food was good (my lamb was a little tougher than my local place but that would be my only criticism), my wife had a chicken biryani which she said was really tasty. Also big portions and really well priced

The naan breads were chargrilled / didn’t seem to contain the garlic & cheese that were ordered. The chicken tikka masala seemed to be cooked from frozen / very watery

The food from here is usually really good, but the butter chicken this time was really poor. The sauce was not the usual rich and tasty delight, the chicken was all shredded and looked like extra onion was added to fill it out. I won't be ordering this again.

First time we've ordered from here and after this one it certainly won't be the last. The food arrived exactly when they'd said. It arrived piping hot and was of a very high standard. We ordered chicken korma, desi delight, chicken tikka karahi, tarka Dahl, cheese and chilli nan, peshwari nan, pillau rice and chips. We also received poppadoms and pickles free. Each dish was very well seasoned, packed full of meat and tasted divine! We will definitely be ordering from here again and I would highly recommend 👌
