Despite some bad reviews we could not fault our first experience at the Red Chilli. Reasonable prices and a good pint of cobra as well. Definitely worth a second visit

Sadly my order was delivered to the wrong address the first time and the people who lived there accepted it. After calling the restaurant my order was cooked again and arrived 50 minutes later.

The curry was lovely full of flavour and rice was perfectly cooked, pakoras were nice but the onion bhajis however was hard and dry.

It was delivered early. I’ve ordered a few times & it’s strange how different the quality have been each time. This is the second time which has been disappointing. The naan was chewy, the tikka masala had hardly any chicken in it & the sauce was bland so I had to add plenty of salt. I won’t be ordering again.

Tasty food, as always. It was a little bit late but not an issue ... food was still hot and filling.

Paneer dansak was just right. Other food just as tasty.

Delivered on time, food was, as always amazing. Hubby had a chicken rogan, I had a bhuna, with saag aloo, bhaji’s and naan. Highly recommend. My first and only go to Indian take away!

Food was lovely tonight, I took a chance on ordering something different as I can only eat mild curries but I tried the chefs special and asked for it to be made mild and it was absolutely delicious especially the lamb in it,not spicy full of taste and texture not like the usual of kormas etc highly recommended! Naan & rice lovely as always and the other half’s rogan josh was perfect, thanks for a great meal!

Food was well over half an hour late. Portions were tiny and overall the food was okay at best. Jalfrezi quite spicy which was nice and the naan was good. Butter chicken dreadful and paneer disappointing. Won’t be back.

Been ordering from here for months as our preferred choice, but today was finally a letdown. I asked for a chicken breast tandoori starter, we received a leg. Lamb tikka starter was tough and tasted weird. Lamb saag was full of chewy and fatty lamb pieces. Disappointing. Think we’ll now move onto a new place.

Just visited this evening, very disappointed that restaurant seems to have really gone downhill, onions in curry hard, one curry far to spicy, rude staff member and been charged more for a pint of lime and soda than friend charged for pint of lager!

I have amended my previous negative review as the food has improved so greatly in this restaurant in the last year. It used to all taste the same, now it is far more varied and tastes delicious. It is still pretty expensive, but maybe worth the cost. The staff have also got a lot friendlier. All this is evident as they are busier now than ever and there are now queues to pick up food. We have now also made it a regular addition to 'Takeaway nights'. Well done for being brave enough to listed to feedback!!! : )

Tried these after being let down by Shalimar, Anoki, and Okra… Great curries. All 3 tasted great and importantly, unique flavours for each. Most places, their curries all taste the same now. Tandoori chicken starter was perfect. Very pleased to receive some good quality from a restaurant for a change.

Cheese and garlic naan was hot, fresh and lots of cheese and garlic. Rice nice and hot. Karahi: not much chicken tikka (4 pieces), just a tomato sauce with loads of undercooked onion. Taste was OK delivery good, just not as expected

Can’t rate the food as not eaten here in a long time. But this is a review for the owner or the gentlemen driving a Toyota Yaris who said he is the owner. A very angry man who thinks he has the right to be aggressive towards members of the public in the car park.

The “white fish” dish was not white fish. It was rubbery and squid like in its consistency. Poor quality food, the paratha was thick and greasy.

I haven’t lived in Derby for very long but this is one of the best curry houses I have eaten at EVER! I have had take away from here which was great but tonight we dined in which did not disappoint, food was amazing, service was amazing, totally recommend!!
