We have used this service a couple of times and found the food to be of a very good standard. Delivery is around the time quoted and the food is hot. No leaky trays.

Lovely meal out - food was amazing, service was excellent. The chicken tikka paneer was beautiful. Restaurant we’re ensuring everyone complied with distancing throughout, and were thoroughly cleaning after each group left.

We ordered a takeaway meal, ideal during lockdown, which was delivered within the promised time scale. The food was pretty good and the containers didn't leak. Will use again.

It was our first take-away since lockdown began and as usual, the food was absolutely fantastic. We had to wait a little bit longer than usual but what with all the safety measures -that was not a problem. The food was tasty, good value for money and stunning.

We have eaten at this restaurant a few times before and really enjoyed it. We fancied a takeaway and it was excellent. Chicken tikka starters, and a Reshmi Kebab. Big pieces of chicken and cooked perfectly. The Reshmi was very tasty and came with an omelette. We both had chicken Dopiaza curry, pilau rice, cheese naans, beautiful. Portions were excellent and value for money. This was our first takeaway order and we will be ordering again. Great service and very friendly staff, highly recommend.

Been a while since I have had a take out from here , so pleased that we chose radhuni tonight, food was excellent in particular the lamb saagwala was amazing, delivery was within the time given really haven’t any complaints and happy to highly recommend

We visited Radhuni with some friends who live locally and had highly recommended this restaurant. We were not disappointed! I ordered chicken pathia, which can be too hot for me in some places but the staff were very helpful and offered to reducee heat and it was perfect. We were also offered a complimentary chicken dish - again perfect, finishing with a liqueur. We would definitely visit again when in the area and recommend.

We just ate here for the second time and all aspects of the meal were exemplary. The food is delicious and the service is prompt and friendly. A particular thank you to the very professional waiter who didn't waver when we experienced a bout of the giggles while ordering (nothing to do with him). A total gentleman. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area. The lamb aloo gost balti is unbelievably good.

Came here on a date several years ago, been coming ever since, my fiance had his Stag Night meal with 15 of his mates, as always Moz and his staff always make you welcome and the food is always amazing !

Have visited and also ordered takeaways from Radhuni over recent years. The food is always good, the staff are always very polite and we have often been offered complimentary dishes when eating in the restaurant. The prices are very competitive. When ordering takeaways the food has always been delivered quickly, even during busy periods.

I’d heard mixed reviews about Radhuni but I tend to go and make my own mind up. I’m so glad I did! What a beautiful meal; one of the nicest curries I’ve ever had - only trumped by Atol Kochhar. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff too. It’s going to be a regular haunt! Well done.

I never write reviews but honestly I’ve been to a lot of Indians around the area but this has been by far the best. The staff are lovey, Great portion of food and an excellent price. Will be returning soon.

Just ordered a takeaway after visiting recently. The food arrived quickly and tasted superb and we were given a complimentary dish that also tased superb. We had to phone up asking for the name of the complimentary dish as we will be ordering that next time we visit.

We used to visit this place fortnightly as a minimum before we had children. Now we get regular take aways & cant fault it. Much better than majority on delivery sites, always complementary items, offer hlf portions. Love it

We walked in off the street and got a table on a busy night but I got the impression that others that had booked may have been pushed aside by several walk ins, only my thoughts. The food came quickly and was good and hot, good value for the price. As an experience though the place could do with a bit of an overhaul, it's very noisy because of all the hard surfaces (there are no soft furnishings or table clothes)and the door opens straight onto the street. Then again you can't have low prices and designer surroundings.

We booked a table for 8:15. There was no table available at 8:15 & were bluntly told to go across the road for a drink. Not ideal when you’ve organised baby sitters...

Pretty disappointed, restaurant was quiet when we went in, just us! Never a good sign! Poppadoms and pickles ok, main course not so. Chicken Tikka tasted of coconut and very sweet and very red, chicken overcooked. Garlic chicken chill massala didn't taste of much, which is odd, chicken ok and it was spicy but just tasted of nothing? Rice ok, Nann ok...

Appearances can be deceptive. Radhuni presents as a clean, contemporary and unassuming restaurant at the bottom of Bath Street with a warm welcome, familiar dishes on the menu and a pint of a Cobra to hand.

They give a discount if you collect a take away although they do deliver locally, The food is the best Indian food in this area but we prefer not to dine in the restaurant as it is so noisy which we think is because there are hard floors so no sound is absorbed,

Visiting as part of special fundraiser event for a great cause. The place was sold out however, the service never dipped. The staff at this place were so attentive to everybodys need and could not do enough to for you to make ths a wonderful experience. As it was a fundraiser event, we didn't expect too much. But how wrong we were, it's started with the normal pops and pickles, but then went onto some excellent tasty dishes to help yourself to. Thinking that would be all, no the staff then brought out some sizzling dishes to the table. The owner "Mos" and his team were fantastic in every way. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue.

I went with my family the night before Mothers Day. It was very busy and despite us changing our time they accommodated us. The main man in charge is lovely, very helpful and nice. Although it was busy the staff were efficient. We have been before and as always the food is excellent. Very tasty and we were given a free dish which was lovely. All was good except when we asked for the dessert menu and we chose our food only to be told there were no desserts after all. Never mind! Great value for money £100.00 for 6 of us drinks, starters, mains...bargain!

Visited with friends. We had booked a table and were warmly greeted by staff. Excellent range of choice all very reasonably priced. Good service throughout the evening.

The food was absolutely delicious from the chutney to the garlic and cheese naan. We were even given free pakoras and a liqueur at the end of the meal. The meal was also very reasonably priced. We are sad not to be local as this would become a firm favourite for us!

Me encanta, tanto para comer en Radhuni y llevar. El personal es fantástico, a cualquier longitud para asegurar que usted disfrute de su tiempo aquí. Hay una gran selección de comida, como un vegetariano, realmente aprecio que cualquier curry puede tener paneer con, en vez de verduras! La comida es deliciosa, pero si no un ventilador de especias y luego duda algo suave. Me gusta muy picante y el jalfrezi platos casi sonó mi cabeza! No disfrutar de ella diciendo que todavía.

De salir a comer en otro restaurante indio en la zona, que estaba cerrada, así que fuimos a este restaurante temático de Bangladesh sin recomendaciones de nadie. Comimos un curry de pollo y salchichas [sí, y muy bueno! ], un plato de verduras mixtas, una paratha [uno de los mejores que hemos tenido y pilau] arroz. Para dos, con 1 1 / 2 pintas de Cobra, la factura era de 22 libras. Sin duda volveremos, y estuvimos encantados de ver que la cocina era bien sazonada y condimentadas, diferente a muchos otros lugares, y se sirve caliente con una sonrisa amable.

El extenso menú y adaptables con un servicio amable y atento. Si quieres tu comida de una forma determinada o que quizás algo como esto no es bastante en el menú hará todo lo posible para acomodar.

Always tasty food and very hot. The food takes a while to arrive but it is worth it. The person on the phone is busy in the restaurant and I have been known to be put on hold before. Still worth the slight inconvenience in my opinion

We've eaten here on a number of occasions now and we've always been very impressed with the quality of the food. The staff are very friendly. Don't expect to be greeted by some guy dressed up like a throw back to the British Raj or to dine in subdued lighting with chandeliers and heavy flock wallpaper. There are plenty of other places that offer those gimmicks. If you want to take your family out for an excellent Indian meal you will not be disappointed with a trip to Radhuni.

We have been going to the Raduni for a few years and completely love it, the wife and I use it for our special occasions.The food is always super hi quality and I would think it must be in the top 10 in the UK, we are so lucky to have them in our town.

This is by far the best Indian in the local area. I suggest the peshwari naan, the cobra beer and any of the main dishes, as they are all served hot, in a very calm and good dining area with very good service.

Been a couple of times now, Been so happy with the quality and service. Last time we had the set menu for two. Fantastic, so much food and variety of flavours it was perfect. So good we recommend to a friend who went a couple of days later for their first visit... And they are still friends. Added to the good value, complimentary dishes and a small night cap to say fair well. We have a favourite Indian restaurant which we have visited for 6 years but this is local and may well become no1.

Strolled in on Sunday night and they happily sat 10 of us. The food was quick consider the party size and the food was absolutely spot on as usual. The service is always great and they're happy to box up what you can't finish. We eat here regularly because it's consistently good and it's definitely worth a visit any day of the week.

A comfortable easy atmosphere with lovely, polite friendly staff.Radhuni has a well established and deserved reputation for food and service.Can be quite loud on Saturday Evenings when large groups are present but always a pleasure to dine there.Their food is ,in my opinion , of a high standard and always delicious . My youngest son always wimps out and has an omelette which I don"t mind too much because he never manages the whole thing so I get to "help" him ....even their omelettes are worth dining out for!

Every time we go back the meal is always very good or even better. The staff are friendly, the menu is great and so is the price.

Went for meal with friends at Radhuni, my friend she had coeliac disease and couldn't have any gluten, Once explained to the manager then he recommended some dishes. We regularly eat here, as regular as once every 5/6 weeks that's how nice it is.Went last night NYE '15 and was very well looked after. The staff are so friendly and often go out of their way to come check in with you. Food is amazing, never had a bad experience in the last 7 years we been going. Staff bring you a complimentary liquor at the end of your meal. Couldn't recommend this place enough, everyone that's been has agreed that is delicious. The onion bhaji's are spot on.

We love curry. We used to make it our mission to try as many different ones as possible but we now have a firm favourite. Radhuni never disappoints. Their food is always absolutely gorgeous and really tasty. We go to the restaurant sometimes which the staff are always really helpful and the food is served quickly and is piping hot. I have been to this place many many times but after an order collection 2nite I had to put a review on. Pre-ordered over the phone, when I got there the man recognised me and shook my hand and gave me a free beer. The curry was out 5 mins later, the staff are all so friendly and nice. ( A big party always gets a free shot each after their meal as well). On my way out they held the door open for me! Would recommend this to anyone! Amazing!

We have been a quite a few times and food is lovely. But not a very personal experience, staff dont really go out of there way to talk to you and not really very friendly. Good priced menu though and varied. Feel a bit small when its busy and can get get quite loud on a Saturday night when there is a party/large group in. Our friends love it though so will no doubt be returning soon.

Was in the area couple weeks ago and randomly ended up coming here. Food was absolutely lovely! Very quick and efficient too. I particularly enjoyed the owner who was very hands on with his business and who constantly made an effort to ensure all of his guests were comfortable. The food was really tasty and service was second to none.Very exciting to find an Indian place that I can dine at whenever I'm in the area.

Been to Rhaduni many many times over the years for family meals and occasions and many many takeaways. Always good food and excellent service.A perfect example of excellent service last night was when booking my table for 6 of my family and mentioned it was also my birthday meal. Upon arrival I received a birthday card from the staff! How lovely!Received a large discount on the meal (as where regulars) and a free complimentary main to try which was better than anything we had ordered. (was the chefs special).Was excellent meal and excellent service.Left looking pregnant cause we had eaten that much!

We eat at the Radhuni on a regular basis because it's one of the best indian restaurants we have been to. The food is excellent, service is very good and the staff very helpful. During the main course we have been offered a taster dish which is a bonus extra and at the end the meal a complimentary liquer! This restaurant is certainly well worth a visit if you haven't been there yet!

Radhuni has always been our favourite take away so naturally, we tried the restaurant. We were met at the door by a friendly and accommodating member of staff, who promptly found us a table without any trouble despite the fact, we hadn't booked. Our drinks were delivered to our table with a smile and the waiter patiently helped us with our menu choices. When our food arrived it was hot, very tasty, well presented and the portions were plentiful. Delicious :) We weren't rushed, the restaurant was clean, the service was brilliant. The atmosphere was calming and friendly. The biggest surprise came right at the end of our evening...the bill! Nowhere near as expensive as we'd have expected. Our favourite place to eat out in Ilkeston.

We've eaten in the restaurant a few times now with tasty dishes. There is another local indian we've also eaten in a few times and the differences between the two are:- Radhuni's dishes are tasty and arrive hot and reasonably quickly, but the only issues we have are that the staff are not as welcoming or as friendly as the other one nearer to our house. The other one is a lot cosier to eat in and friendlier, they actually smile and look happy to see you but we've had a few issues with their food like wrong food orders delivered to the table and the bill on occasions has been higher than it should be! If I could take the friendly staff of the second indian in ilkeston and put them in Radhuni I'd be well chuffed and would eat there more. It's never nice seeing a grumpy waiter......

I will only ever get my Indian take out from Radhuni and have dined in at the restaurant a number of times too. Each time I have enjoyed my meal immensely with nothing to complain of and have always received excellent service and customer care. You do not have to wait too long for drinks or between courses to arrive, and the restaurant is very clean with modern decor.

As a regular since the first day it opened I have to say sadly I won't be returning! Food ok but customer service absolutely dire! Once upon a time the staff went the extra mile, not just organising a taxi but providing a lift home after complimentary night caps! Fair enough, the lifts were above and beyond expectations, but tonight we were made to feel we had overstayed our welcome with grumpy staff sweeping up around us and clearly wanting us to leave, and it wasn't as if it was that late! We ended up waiting outside on the street until our taxi came. They really didn't deserve the £100 they took from us!!

We were in last Saturday and I must say the meal was superb. We had a great time and the service was excellent considering that all the staffs were fasting they did a great job. Its understanble they looked tired but hey who wouldn't after 17-18 hrs of fasting.

Value and service definitely 5/5, food more like a 3 or 4. Good portion sizes but curries had a lot of oil on them. Not much atmosphere because it was a Monday night and fairly empty but I would probably return.

Booking table no problem.. seated ok. Staff took ages to bring menu and drinks.old guy as a waiter obviously didn't want to be there. It wasn't late 7pm.slammed drinks on table.all the staff look worn out and like they wanted to be elsewhere.food was nice and hot when arrived..no problem with that foods always been good . No one would make eye contact to get the bill. That's my only complaint think they all need to go on a custom service course

All the reviews for the last 6 months all say what I think. Slowly this place is going down the pan. There is no love in the food anymore. My family have been attending this restaurant since it opened. But not anymore. We're now looking for a new restaurant. Our food today was delivered to our home. And was cold. I microwaved it. The rice mushy and the Popadoms lifeless. We did get some free bahjis but we only ate half of one and chucked the rest. There was no flavour. WHAT HAS HAPPENED RADHUNI!!!?? You were the best in Ilkeston. I'm sure you will close soon as it's obvious from trip advisor you loseing customers.

We visited the Radhuni on a Tuesday night. It was very quiet, with only a few other tables taken. We had a variety of starters, mains, sides and naan and the food was all of a very good, tasty standard. Service was excellent, and we got complimentary liquers at the end of our meal. We are never disappointed when visiting.

I have had several dishes from this restaurant since Christmas with the most recent towards the end if May. Initially the meals were ok. Nothing spectacular (the saucess flavoursome and the naan bread light and tasty) but recently not so much, and in my opinion my overall satisfaction rating of my meal has dipped, so much so that I have now begun searching for an alternate and no longer consider Radhuni my first choice when visiting Ilkeston

I have been to this restaurant a number of times with friends and enjoyed every single meal. I kept going on about it so much my wife insisted I took her. She is not a hot curry fan but I assured her the staff would guide her choice. She wasn't disappointed. She described the taste she wanted and they prepared a dish just that way! Great taste, great choice, great value!

We use this restaurant on a regular basis and can only praise all aspects of the establishment. We have had the takeaway several times and it is always excellent.

The Radhuni restaurant is a perfect place for any occasion. I originally first visited to celebrate my partners birthday. We hadn't booked a table and turned up on a random Saturday night, with the restaurant pretty full. We were squeezed into a table and even though the restaurant was really full, it didn't seem to much effort at all for the waiter who welcomed us. The food was fantastic and now as a regular customer, the food still continues to be fantastic. I regularly visit the restaurant and always feel very welcome, with the friendly staff and quick service. Overall I am really impressed, and will still continue to class this as my first choice of Indian. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Enjoy!

As you open the menu, you learn that Radhuni in Bangladeshi means Masterchef. I think Gregg and John would agree. We went as they opened at 6, and we're the only ones in, but not for long. By half 7, 8 of the 15 or so tables were full and takeaway orders were flying out the door. The decor is simple, fresh with a few india theme pictures and mirrors on the wall. We had poppadoms and pickles, meat samosa and onion bhaji, chicken korma and lamb rogan josh, both with keema rice and a nan bread. All of which were outstanding. All this with 2 pints of draught cobra each for under £40 is excellent value.We live on the doorstep but have never been before, we came out wondering why and promised ourselves it wouldn't be long before we returned.

The Radhuni in Ilkeston, Derbyshire has always been a favourite of ours. We go on a regular basis and can't fault the service of quality of food. The restaurant itself is clean and well looked after and when we go mid-week the staff are alwaya happy to deal with the fact that we walk in without having pre booked.The staff are polite and providw helpful and friendly service and are knowledgeable when it comes to the curries and the ingredients. Drinks are cheap and the house wines seem quite nice.The menu is great...not too huge but still with plenty of choice and it offers a fantastic selection of traditional and more unusual dishes.The food is simply the best ever! It is always a generous portion and cooked really well with lots of flavour. The staff are always happy to fill up a doggy bag to take home left overs too!!We love the fact that the kitchen often give us some freebie bhajis and at the end of the meal we are normally offered a complimentary drink too. It's very reasonably priced and well worth a visit during the week for a quiet night where you can chat and enjoy a relaxed meal. It gets busy on a Friday ans Saturday so advice is to book for those days. Sometimes a little noisy on those nights too as it sometimes attracts the local Ilkeston revellers from nearby bars!!Overall a winner!

Went here on a wave of spontaneity with my wife and step sister. Was such a nice atmosphere to enjoy our favourite cuisine in. All staff were very polite and and attentive. Thumbs up guys, well done.

Visited last night (sat) with friends and had made a prior booking. This restaurant is in Ilkeston NOT Derby for those who search for it on Trip Advisor etc. Anyway, the place was buzzing with nearly every table full - and in this economic climate it made us really happy to see. we were shown to our table quickly and given a menus to look at and a drinks order taken. I have to agree with other reviewers on speed of service when it came to taking the order, but this was not a problem as we were in no hurry and no member of staff was standing doing nothing - in fact they were all running around as fast as they could to get food out of the busy kitchen. We ordered the usua poppadoms and pickles and all four of us had a starter - beautifully presented and cooked and then four main course curries, four rice dishes and a couple of naans. Each dish was lovely, fresh, piping hot and tasty. in fact there was too much for us to finish and had we wanted to, the staff would have boxed it up for us to have at home. Complimentary hand wipes, a shot of liqueur and a chocolate were nice touches and the prices fantastic. Four is us ate for £65! Which I think is pretty good. Worth a visit. We shall return.

This restaurant is listed as being in Derby when it's actually in Ilkeston - no where near Derby!We were taken here by friends and the food was just fantastic. We did go early evening so there really wasn't many people about - so the service was prompt and top quality.The restaurant layout is a little spartan but is probably more designed for the after pub crowd.. but nevertheless, I don't have a bad word for the place, the staff, the food and the price.

After having visited radhunis saturday evening me and my partner started of with a bottle of wine and ordered popudoms and pickle tray which were okThats where it went down hill after thatIt was 1 hour before our mains came, we had finished the wine off and totally gone past it now even though the main was quite nice Finally 4 people came in wanting a table for 4 , just had we finished our mains the plates were cleared up and they bought the bill in a flash , it just seemed they wanted the 4 people to have our table Probably would go back again just to see if the service is any better as I said the food was nice unlike the service

I've been so many indian restaurants but i honestly have to say, hand on my heart, this place is amazing for value and foods, the portions were excellent. The quality of the food was exceptional and the right mixture of spice. It was well presented and perhaps most important plentiful. I love this place and will keep on coming any chance I get.

After a recommendation by my neighbour, I thought I will give them a try....I was glad to try them cos the food was excellent, extensive menu...good value for money, friendly staff. Excellent.

We go to this Indian quite a lot and the staff are always friendly and polite. The food is very good and great value for money. The speed of service can be sometimes slow when they are very busy but overall it is ok.

We used to visit this restaurant a lot and enjoyed it but hadn't gone for a while. Four of us went on a Saturday night and were seated quite quickly. The restaurant was busy but we ordered our food and had the starters served. From the starters we waited an hour before the main course was brought out. We'd asked what the problem was and they were quite surly stating that they were busy. When the food was served they were discourteous and just put the food on the table without asking which belonged to whom. In fact, I'm surprised none of it spilled over in view of how it was 'thrown' on the table - I got the distinct impression they didn't like the fact that we'd queried the delay. The curry I ordered is one I've had several times there but it was nothing like I've ever had before. It was just a hot tomato and chilli sauce over chewy fatty chicken - the ingredients are supposed to include cashew nuts - there was no evidence of this anywhere. Two other people in our group said their food was alright but mine was not good and so I raised this with them. They did deduct the cost of my main course from the bill but the night was spoiled and the meal took far longer than we'd anticipated. From being a regular there in the past, I wont' be going back.

Very good service and food, curry wasn't quite hot enough so it was taken away and added to! Will definitely go again.

We were celebrating my parents 25th wedding anniversary and turned up at the restaurant without prior booking on a Saturday evening, the place was busy and it didn't seem like we were going to be offered a table there were 8 of us!!! The disappointment was evident on my face when a gentleman named Moz saved the evening he ushered our party to the table. We told him we were celebrating an anniversary and we would like to order food that rose to the occasion... He took it upon himself to sort out our menu and presented us with a selection of mouthwatering mixed starters followed by amazing variety of meat and seafood main courses. The restaurant was lovely great friendly staff, atmosphere was really nice food is fantastic will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to eat an Indian in Ilkeston. The Menu is priced very reasonable and the quality of food is outstanding! Radhuni all the way for me!!! Keep up the great work peeps! See you again very soon ;-)

We had a family get together for my sons 21st birthday,there was 10 of us 3 which hadn't eaten Indian before the staff were very helpful in offering them advise on what to order.We'd pre ordered the lamb special which I'd had at my friends wedding it was fantastic,not to be missed .Overall it was a fantastic night ,great food ,friendly staff and a reasonable bill.To finish the night we were all offered a complimentary liqueur which made the night

We were taken to the Radhuni restaurant by our sister and brother in law who visit frequently as a birthday meal. We were welcomed at the door and seated straight away, drinks were ordered and arrived almost immediately. The staff were very helpful when we asked about the dishes available. When the meals arrived they were piping hot and very well presented. Of course we all had a try of each others meal and thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of the dishes. We will definitely pay this restaurant many more visits in the future and recommend it to friends and family. Overall a fantastic evening out, fabulous food friendly staff and the prices don't break the bank. We would like to thank all the staff and chefs for a great evening out with fantastic food.

We are regulars at Radhuni, wanted something different for our wedding reception they catered for 50 even opening on a Saturday lunch especially for us. The food and service couldn't be faulted especially the lamb special, talapia bhuna & chefs sizzling tandoori chicken , guests are still talking about the day which was October 2012.

My wife and I have been using Rhadhini for approx. 4 years and take our staff and there partners every Christmas for a good meal and a drink. I have always been more than satisfied with both the service, the excellent advice given by the staff, the ability to ammend recipes to suite individuals and the relaxed atmosphere they can create in what can be a very busy restaurant. If you want excellent cuisine at a very competative price, I recommend you give it a try.

Fantastic value for money, restaurant was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Good vegetarian selection and chef was happy to make up none menu dishes. Really good prices.
