I have been a customer for over 30 years

Food was very nice but the delivery time was bad and it was very expensive , which I don’t mind if you get complimentary papadums etc. but you are charged a lot for them and the takeaway menu is expensive and also it took one and a half hours to deliver, also last time I ordered I asked for chicken tikka Dhansak but it wasn’t tikka, it was normal chicken but couldn’t be bothered to ring back as I was so hungry, I think this place could be great if they had more staff delivering and they need to give free papadums etc to there customers who spend well at least like all other Indian takeaways I’ve used always do, I’ve worked in this industry and if you’re not careful you can become greedy etc and start losing valuable customers especially as there is a lot of competition out there.

Lamb Rogan Josh - lamb was very tough (couldn't even cut it) and the sauce was bland, it almost looked like like a ready meal. Cheese & Garlic Nan - came with a pile of cheese on it which is a first, Nan bread was soggy due to the unmelted cheese. Chips - were clearly reheated (like chewing cardboard) Samosas - they were ok but very sweet which was weird, also a first. We normally order from anila which is very nice, always consistent but since they're closed on Mondays, we thought we would give these a try. Considering Anila and Praan are simarly priced, I was expecting the food quality from Praan to be up there but its no where near. Won't be ordering from here again 1/5

Just had my order but unfortunately very disappointed I ordered a set meal for two and a bag of chips we didn't get any rice or poppadoms and the food was bland

We had a take out for 6. Loved the food and the 20minute wait was OK with a cold beer, even a complementary beer to take home. Thoroughly recommend this if you fancy an Indian in Oakham

Me and my mate went in on Tuesday for the first time. The food was incredible, Staff were very friendly and polite. The atmosphere was very lovely, will definitely be going in again.

Great quality food served by friendly staff in a great atmosphere… don’t serve alcohol but you can take your own.

I ordered a jeera cumin dish with sauce to my taste. and asked a chap named Raj.he will sort your tastbuds out. An the food was so tasty I'm going to try it again tomorrow. Excellent flavours bless the chef he can cook.

One and a half hours later., after ordering how DISSAPOINTING seek kebabs crap and so was the tandoori chicken starter. Has this place changed hands?. I could make better myself following a recipe. NEVER AGAIN.

AFTER EATING FROM HERE FOR TWENTY YEARS THE MEAL DELIVERED ON Monday night was rubbish, so after twenty years they won't be seeing me again

It's a shame to tell anyone else about this place but it is a lovely place nice staff and great food

I got barred for asking for a glass of water. Circumstances leading up to this should have given me an indication that is was going to happen. Managerial staff were very unwilling to serve water without my insistence. Always an overdramatic miserable face on management, feels more like they're trying to crack their way into showbusiness.

Ordered 7pm on a Sunday night, food was delivered about 45m later piping hot and of generous portion sizes. Everything was absolutely delicious. Didn't visit so can't really comment on atmosphere but the delivery driver was a nice fellow.
