Worst quality of food ever. With arrogant staff

Ella estaba entreteniendo a los clientes conocidos por ella permitiéndoles saltarse la cola y tomando órdenes largas sobre aquellos como yo esperando pacientemente en la cola. Aunque ella sabrá que lo que hizo estuvo mal, lamento que no se dé cuenta y que la dirección no pueda actuar. Por otra parte, es la forma en que habló enojada cuando se hizo una solicitud de chai y una simple pregunta sobre cuánto tiempo más tomaría haber esperado 40 minutos. Iremos a otro lado.

Fresh food and snacks, always but from then when in town. Sundays can be the busiest!

Sweets, farsaan, dry fruits.... you name it.... they have got it all.....wonderful place...

Got couple savoury item and both of them Test really bad.One of lady staff pick sweet by hand without gloves on it. Not bother about hygiene at all. Sweets is okay

The best Indian sweet shop I have been to in the UK, their samosas, kachories and pata gathiyas are to die for!!!😋 Would definitely recommend!

We usually get sweets and snacks from Aarti sweet centre but this evening it was heavily crowded so I thought to buy from this shop which is just few steps away from Aarti sweet centre. I got motichoor ladoo which is very dry and not even sweet. Methi pakoda is undercooked as at the centre the besan was raw. Feeling really disgusted as it was a waste of money for me today. Not going back again. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Easily the best sweet centre in Leicester. This shop has the speed of service you need, and Incredible taste. Their Samosas are the best in Leicester, bar-non. Lamba Ghantia is top! The lady's here are always happy to have a laugh and a joke whilst preparing your order.

Aarti shop is better quality Paapdi. Bought Paapdi ne Gaathiys from here yesterday and my throat started feeling unwell in few min. Use fresh oil maybe? I do t think I will be buying again.

They are very crafty , this place isso small and no room to move around people have to stand out side to wait for their turn ,giving the impression that they’re so good that there is a queue out side. I have known them for years they haven’t bothered to do anything about the space problems. It causes a lot of inconvenience but the owners are not bothered. We have stand breathing every bodies gems.

Amazing experience I would highly recommend and without a doubt for future family gatherings I will most definitely look to use jalaram sweeet centre for catering services.

The best small shop in the uk for sweets and savouries. Bought some delicious vada pau’s and ghatiyas from here and were amazing. Cheaper than all other places with a high level of quality. Staff are amazing in helping you choose aswell. Would definitely recommend.👍

This used to be one of the most trusted food retailer in leicester (named after a trusted saint). It's a shame that they decided to act like some of the doggy traders in leicester. I went there to get some indian sweets penda & chocolate burfi did not want too much so looking at the pieces on the on display i decided to to order pieces all the penda pieces were stuck together and the chocolate burfi pieces were atleast 3 times the size of the display pieces as they charge me on the weight, it cost more than expected so if you go to this store make sure you check how much they have given you or be willing too pay more than you expected to pay.

My first visit to Jalaram sweet centre in leicester before Diwali day, the sweets were so fresh and delicious, i purchased mixed sweets,Motichoor Laddu, kaju barfi...,all were fresh and tasty , and bought spicy chakra, methi poori & chakra's all the spicy items were good in taste.

I ordered online for DIWALI as they were doing Special I received my order except 1 product missing I rang them to complain instead of sorting my complaint they made me feel criminal at 76 years old Experience in work and running my own business

Order over the phone some mithai Dhorkra Kachori and Diwali Nasto - 7/11 received its next day. Everything in tack nothing broken all freshly made. Very impressed and happy..👌🥳 will be ordering again

My recent visit to Jalaram Sweet in Leicester was a big disappointment, forcing me to give it just one star, despite being a loyal customer. I ordered the pakoda (bhajiya), but it was far from fresh and gave me food poisoning. This has shattered my trust in the place, and I won't be returning. The food quality was far away from match with hygiene ratings of this place, with the potatoes in the bhajiya being spoiled and emitting a strange odor. It doesn't meet basic food standards, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously for the sake of their customers as i will make sure to report this to local authorities of food hygiene .

Management are completely useless. They don't knowledge the customer. Had issues with the quality spoken to the manager refused to refund my money and told me to throw the food in the bin. No morals a complete joke. They seem to like robbing customers I would never purchase again from this place be warned.

I have ordered from many Indian sweet marts across the country, but I must say no where can compete with Jalaram Sweet Centre in terms of its customer service and delicious array of food. It’s consistency is also unmatched as I am never disappointed when I order from here! I recommend there Kachoris and Chevro for anyone that hasn’t been!

If you need a place to go in Leicester for Indian snacks, lunch or breakfast this is the spot. I have been coming here for many years and the quality and taste is excellent and maintained over the years. Have a built a family like relationship with the staff and they are hard working. I highly recommend this location!

Really quick service, I ordered over the phone a mixture of food including Dhokra, Samosas, Gatiya and a portion of their lovely chips with their house masala sauce and it was all ready in 10 mins. The food was all lovely and I would definitely go back here as the service, food and hygiene is 100% the best on Melton road compared to the other sweet marts.

One of the best sweet marts in Leicester and I have been going here for over 30 years.

I kept ordering from them online each time they keep decreasing the quality and taste I have many times informed them but not reply .they never bothered to what you write to them .the last time I ordered was really horrible like I was feed with old stuffs . I never read the reviews when I purchased .Such shops shouldn't be entertained any more I think not mine all of them have the same experience like me .Sad spoling the name .

A walk on the Golden mile, Leicester is not the same unless you sample some of the amazing food there. The Jalaram ambli (tamarind) chips are hands down THE best you'll find in Leicester or anywhere really! Plenty of chips and plenty of ambli always, for a taste extravaganza that is unmissable!! All for just £2.40! Keep up the great work. A local treasure known for their indian sweets as well their ambli chips!!

Ordered goods online and delivered next day. No fuss and quick service directly to your doorstep. Goods came in an good condition with some crumbs but still eatable. Cheap delivery charge for 15 kilos.

Nice spot for Indian breakfast with mouth-watering gathiyas and jalebi. Perfect to go with your Indian tea. They even let you try before you buy. Reasonable price and staff are polite and very quick.

The best somosas in Leicester. Ordered 70 somosas for a work party and absolutely got demolished. The somosas were vegan which suited to all my work colleagues. Wonderful taste!

Great food, good service excellent

Super disappointed! We were sold broken ghatthias that were partially stale. My mother called and jalaram said no problem bring the receipt and we will exchange. We drove 25mins to exchange and for them to be very difficult. Like wow!!!! No principles, the boy was rude and a wasted journey.

I thought i would try on the off chance it might be good - there is so much choice on Melton / Belgrave Road Spicy Chevro - is sadly not spicy and full of sugar (had better from Mithaas on Narborough road). Patta Gathiya - were pretty ok. Too thick for my liking but edible Dhokra - did not have too much sugar which was a good thing. Hate everything with sugar but these were very good. Suggestion is for owners to reduce the amount of sugar in the spicy chevro. otherwise a decent place.....
