Genuinely the best Indian food! We absolutely love coming to Paddy's and wouldn't hesitate recommending it anyone.

Still my fave place for starters/sizzlers. Mains are ok and portions just about enough. However, VERY pricey nowadays compared to equivalent pub grills, despite the place or food barely changing.

Amazing Indian, very well-known around Leicestershire. Very busy, you will need to book in advance. The quality is excellent.

A regular place to visit. Food is consistently good

went to this place for a birthday meal, was very very disappointed. killed the birthday vibe. chicken tawa was edible, mixed grill was terrible and egg fried rice was plane and tasted like nuts. Tasteless food. But what was worse, was the service provided by the staff. The waiter that was taking our drinks, the African waiter was extremely rude and ignorant, was not listening to our order and gave us the wrong drinks and the wrong amount. When we asked him about it, he denied it and told us he gave us the right amount (he didn't) he then smirked when we said ok, very cheeky! we ate our food and we had so many dishes empty on the table, all of the waiters were walking past and looking and didn't even bother emptying the table. The waiter previously mentioned was standing right infront of us staring at the dishes and did not even clean up. That's not all, the table given to us was absolutely disgraceful. we were given a small table which all 5 of us had to squeeze into. Thanks for killing my birthday vibe! If you want to run a business properly, customer service should be your priority. Looks like someone needs some business lessons and staff definitely need replacing or training properly!!!!

We ordered many items to take away including: mixed grill, salt and pepper fish, tandoori chicken, panneer sizzler, butter chicken, keema, naan bread- All very tasty. Highly recommend

Bad points - the building was extremely cold on arrival we even had to keep our coats on until the place warmed up after asking for the heating to be on, also only given one or two serviettes at a time,I know it’s hard times but jeez. The table service staff were constantly trying to rush our order The food however is decent, nice tasty starters and the main wasn’t to bad either, though I’m unsure about each curry being priced up to include rice and naan bread, myself and my partner usually share but I suppose its a great selling tat-tic

Been here twice with work colleagues. The portion sizes are good, the food is full of flavour, and the staff are sound. Would definitely recommend. Reasonably priced too in my opinion.

Best Indian meal I have had in a long time,traveled over from Nottingham,as had heard great things about this place,not disappointed.Although it was packed out on the Saturday night,service was prompt,you probably have to have an idea of what you want,as there are 170 dishes to choose from,the waiters are excellent and will guide you through and suggest the strengths of the curries.It was my first visit but will definitely go back,highly recommended, and remarkably not as expensive as those in Nottingham.

First visit a few weeks ago, will definitely go back. Food was delicious, especially the salt and pepper fish starter. All the dishes tasted fresh, were made as hot or mild as you requested and served promptly. Service was excellent despite the venue being full. Great atmosphere.

Don't miss this place. Everything about it is amazing. Don't let the pub style put you off. It adds to the atmosphere . See you all soon.

Not been back here since lock down. Good welcome, very accommodating [we kept asking for extra people to join us]. Food order , delivery to tables, and responding to all our requests were handled really well. Food and service excellent. We visited on a Sunday evening.

Much improved veggi options. Aubergine and potato ...v nice. Excellent staff and service .

Very disappointing food, we travelled far but everything was full of oil and bland. I ordered a rajasthani chicken, and my wife ordered a rajasthani paneer, both medium spice. Hers was bland and tasteless. Mine was so spicy I couldn't eat it and usually I can handle spice

Over priced or over charged. 4 people just over £40 a head. Won't be rushing back.

What a great Indian meal! We were very lucky to get a table at 17:30 on a Friday so I suggest you book. Food was fantastic, staff were excellent and the atmosphere was great. We had the pleasure of meeting "Paddy" himself and he entertained us no end. Highly recommend it. It's a little way out from Leicester city centre but well worth the short Uber journey (7 pounds)

Good food good service parking is bit of problem

Absolutely exceptional! We’ve been to quite a few Indian restaurants over the past few months and Paddy’s is definitely up there with the best. The food was exceptional, very tasty and beautifully cooked with great portion sizes. Staff were superb as well. Could not recommend it highly enough!

The food was pretty good. Perhaps I chose the wrong dishes. The salt and pepper fish needs to be crispier. The chicken tawa was a little bland. My wife did rave about the naans. Service was very slow. Arrived at 7pm, food served at 8.30. Won’t rush back.

Great place. Food came quickly. The Keema lamb was fantastic as were all other dishes. Service was very good. I would highly recommend Paddys.

I had a really good evening here with a couple of friends. I had a vege curry, mushroom rice and garlic naan. Staff were polite and the food was served quickly.

Best meal I have ever had in Leicester, Really nice tasting and good selection on the menu. The prawns were nice and the egg tawa was quality. Decent selection of beers and drinks too. Not the cheapest but will definitely be back

Staff were attentive and took drinks order quickly. Comprehensive menu, probably too much choice. Long wait for the starters to arrive even though the pub was not very busy. However it did get busy during the evening and was quite noisy, the loud music didn’t help. The food was served hot, always a good thing and most of us enjoyed the food which on the whole was quite nice. Basically, the whole experience and food was nothing special, it was ok. There are definitely better curry houses in Leicester.

Returned after several years to see what it was like. Compared to other mixed grill places in Leicester the portions felt small and higher prices.

Last 2 times ive been here the food has been the same. Dry, tasteless and quite frankly not worth the money. Dont ask why i came here again after the first time because i dont know why either. YES, the martyn inn USED to be good but the standard has fallen so low that im not planning on coming back in a very long time. Think twice before you think of going, not everything is as it seems

Mid week meal out with friends to catch up. Really friendly and attentive service. Food was very tasty, served hot a fresh. I had the fish tawa which was lovely, came with naan and rice £15.95 Definitely return

Arrived at 6.46pm without booking.we did get a table after a short wait. Pub was very busy and we were taken upstairs to a very cold room. Order was taken and when food arrived order was wrong.food was of poor quality, meat was chewy and tikka massage sauce was runny like water and not very nice. The whole experience was very disappointing.

We usually get curries but this time opted for mixed grill and it didn't disappoint! Full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Lamb shish was 🤤 Dropped one star on service as the staff were not very attentive and it was hard trying to get their attention. However, they were still super friendly!

Authentic Indian food? This place has it all. I feel like I’ve been waiting years to eat at a place such as this. Fantastic on tap IPA. Superb atmosphere. Wonderful food. Special mention to the salt and pepper fish, chili chicken, keema saag, taka dhal, and the crispy aubergine. We ordered a ton of dishes and every single one was a winner. Spice levels are definitely up there. Some of the hotter dishes put me in my place, so if you’re unsure about spice go for the milder end. Staff are extremely attentive, and the service was quick. Really impressed by the number of dishes flying out of the kitchen.

We have been coming here for a number of years on a very regular basis. The food is incredible. The best place for Indian food! The salt and pepper fish is outstanding! The service is excellent in a fantastic venue with a great atmosphere.

Service was good, attentive, quick, place is really busy, the chicken madras, the veg sizzler all tasty. Little disappointed with the paneer and peas on tawa aa they weren't as nice, pretty bland

Loved our first visit tonight. We normally go somewhere else but they were closed so on recommendation from our son we booked in. There is a eclectic trad boozer come Bollywood vibe going on, which is very enjoyable. The menu is very extensive, and very reasonably priced. We had sizzling Tandoori Chicken and Salt and Pepper Fish as starters, after the usual poppadoms and pickles. The fish portion was huge, and really enjoyable. The peppery heat built slowly! Main courses were white bean curry and Chilli Chicken. We were asked.what level of spicing we wanted and I'm glad I picked medium! Drinks were the usual lagers on draft, the Cobra was excellent with the curry. Service was exceptional, the staff were hard working and very attentive. A brilliant place, we will be back. Decent vegetarian options as well.

We had our weekly mens out here. Drove up from Milton Keynes for the event and no repentance, in fact looking forward to a repeat in the near future. The food was scrumptious 😋, and service excellent.

Visited Paddy's in a group of 15. I have been many times before. As usual the place was very busy (good food at a decent price) & rather noisy. Our starters came out, which were excellent. I had the Indochinese chilli mushrooms. I shared these with my friends who hadn't had them before & they loved them! Everybody enjoyed the starters. The main courses came out approximately 40 minutes later. I had the paneer & Mogo Shashlik (in a small starter size as I know that the portions are generous at Paddy's). Beautiful food!! No-one in my party said a bad word about the food & we all left happy. As I said, the only downside to Paddy's is the noise level. Other than that it was perfect

We had a huge family meal here for our son’s 16th birthday. The food was perfect as always. Portion sizes were generous. Everyone left with full tummy’s and a smile on their face. Service was on point. All staff friendly and attentive. We didn’t feel rushed, and we’re able to take our time between courses Thank you so much to the staff at paddy’s ☺️

Paddy’s Inn is a quirky Indian restaurant inspired heavily by Bollywood. It’s full of posters of actresses and actors from yesterdays to modern day. The interiors are cozy. The staff is very friendly and polite. The food is well priced. The portion sizes are actually decent sized. The menu is excellent and has lots of vegetarian options. They also have a bar. It’s a great place for dinner with family and friends. Highly recommended this place

I’ve been going to Martin inn for a long time and I have to say the food is spot on . My fav is methi machoozi chicken rice with Nan also the salt pepper fish. For a good evening dinner it’s perfect . Gets a bit loud on the weekends as the seating is a bit tight but overall it’s a great experience and flavours.

First visit here, and have to say a great venue totally unexpected. Food was really amazing and definitely not shy on the portions. Great service and very friendly atmosphere. Would 100% recommend a visit.

So after years about hearing about this place managed to go on a Friday evening whilst in Leicester. It was busy and I didn't book so had to wait for a table but eventually got one. Sat down and looked at the menu which had a good variety of food but as I'm already partial to grills and wings I went for the grill. Also ordered lamb chops, salt & pepper prawns and a few others. Being a Friday it was busy and that delayed the service a little but that's expected when you see how busy this place was. I imagine that at a different time the service will be different. The food itself was on point. The Salt & Pepper Prawns were amazing and will definitely be having it again without a second thought. The grill was really nice, though I think the bed of onions could've been caramelised more. The lamb chops had a nice flavour and weren't overdone, kept it's flavour and didn't rubber out. Will I be returning, without a doubt a great place in Leicester. Just be mindful it's street parking there but there are spots close by.

Best Indian food I've ever tasted. Simply brilliant. Prawns and chicken tikka starter sublime.. you can't improve on this. Ubong our waiter was amazing too.

Paddys has long been a favourite but after moving 15 mls away and covid etc I haven’t been for 4 years pleased to say it is as good as ever, I moved to oakham and we have an excellent Indian restaurant but Paddys is a different level we had 5 different curries 3 of them large not a poor one amongst them only argument whether the lamb saag was better than the jalfrezi lol

It is ok, we were 9 of us, the table was booked and confirmed for 3hrs and in the middle of the dinner we were told it is the policy that the tables booking is for 2hrs only? The Manager was not helpful at all. Apart from that, the waiter spilled the drinks on the guest, the full clothing was ruined and not even an apology. I think the place is overrated.

One of our favourite places to eat! The salt and pepper fish is one of the best dishes I've ever tried and always a must when eating here. Staff are very friendly and give excellent service. Highly recommended

Nice place popped in for a nice family meal, food was decent and service a bit to much. They gave a time slot and constantly rush you for drinks and orders, I think service needs to be a little more laid back and give customers some time to enjoy their food and drinks. Apart from the service can’t fault it so easily fixed 👍🏽parking also a little busy in the area especially at peak times

I had been told about this place for a few months and finally went for a family 21st Birthday. Well what an atmosphere, staff are lovely and made a big deal for the birthday boy. All food was amazing, very tasty, not just heat. Food did take a while but we were a large group. Shame you don't deliver!

Enjoyed the food here however be very careful when it comes to the bill. The bill is separated by food and drink and is given as a ‘misc food’ and ‘misc drink’ rather than individual items; when I looked at the bill separately after going home (no menu available after the meal to see) realised they have charged me an extra couple of pounds out of nowhere. Imagine you are in a large group they can easily add a couple of extra pounds in here and there and no one would notice or think it is worth creating a fuss over. I’ve heard this trick being done here from other friends of mine and for this reason despite the food being good will unlikely be visiting again. 2 stars for food otherwise would be a zero based on service

Hands down the best Indian food we've had in Leicester. All of the dishes were good portion sizes and tasted incredible. We have the mixed grill and mixed paneer tikka and Mogo to start. Chicken curry, paneer tawa and dhal Makani for mains. All delicious. The Currys all came with a rice and naan. We also tried the pistachio kulfi which was nice too!

A vast menu, very lovely food, friendly staff

We had a lovely meal here last week, excellent service, friendly staff. Personally, for us, the atmosphere was too loud, we couldn't hear ourselves talk - probably us being too old! They only offered one type of white wine by the glass, which was disappointing, and the drive leading to the pub/restaurant was challenging, to say the least. We ordered way too much food but was allowed to bring it home and can honestly say some of the tastiest indian cuisine we've ever had on the night and at home. Price bracket is based on food only.

Had to give the 1 star to leave review. Worst mix grill I have ever had. Far too expensive for what you get. They have Lamb chops on the menu but these are actually Mutton. Not Happy at All

Best curry in Leicestershire without a doubt! First visit tonight in my Birthday recommended by some friends from work. Simply the best curry I have ever had in my life. Curry’s were delicious and you can taste the individual spices that has gone into making them. Will deffo be a regular customer!

Wow! Food was amazing here. Very authentic and as spicy as you like it. They had TV screens everywhere with bollywood music playing. Only problem I found was the seating area was very tight and cramped. But would definitely go back again.

Whilst in town on a business trip a few of us went here after being told it is the place to eat curry in Leicester...and I totally agree! You don't find it by accident as it's on he edge of a housing area and not a street you'd wander along by accident...but judging by how busy it is it's very well known about. The decor is fitting with many portraits on most walls The menu is extensive but not the 'traditional' (English) Indian curry house...but that's not a bad thing! Of note is crispy aubergine...which tastes amazing! There's a number of unusual twists to the menu that make Paddy's stand out, which makes this place worthy of repeated visits. The price, whilst not cheap, wasn't expensive and you get a lot of food for your money - just be careful of over-ordering! I highly recommend here and would happily return.

We visited here after many years of hearing about the great food - sadly we were disappointed the starters ( salt & pepper fish & paneer shaslick) were delicious but the mains were disappointing - we ordered two dishes ( kidney bean & aubergine/potato ) which appeared to be in the same tomato curry base - as were our friends chicken dishes - the Dahl though was nice - fells rather overpriced
