Fabulous food and really enjoyable experience. We love it here! Great vibe and staff too.

LambSaag hands down was a winner, we enjoyed it that much came back 2 days later and took some home! Great staff very polite and the chef did my dishes perfectly medium hot as I like.

Excellent dinner, menu looks expensive but the portions are enormous. Service very quick with friendly staff who kindly checked with us about things like spice levels and explaining dishes.

Came in on a jam packed Saturday evening. The place is narrow and tight but plenty of seating around and is a lot bigger than it looks. I ordered a special biriyani which recommend by the waiter. It was served with a naan over the top which you can’t eat. So I don’t really get the point of it. It was a good biryani but I wouldn’t say any better than good. Rest of the table enjoyed their food too

I didn't manage to get a table. The place was absolutely packed, so it must be good. I will return most definitely.

Curry y tadka dal eran bastante soso e insípido. Chili bhindi starter estaba bien. El pedido de poppadoms fue olvidado después de 20 minutos de espera. TROZO DE PLÁSTICO 1. 5 cm, que se encuentra en el dal. No hay disculpas del dueño. Precio deducido de dal de la factura. El servicio era lento. Personal bueno. En general no recomendaría este lugar para comida vegetariana. Necesita mejorar la calidad de los alimentos y servicios que ofrecen.

Visited this place first time for a vegetarian meal with family after reading various reviews. But was disappointed. Only brief given was food, not to be spicy. Curry and tadka dal were quite bland and tasteless. Chilli bhindi starter was ok. Order for poppadoms was forgotten had to be reminded after 20min waiting. PIECE OF PLASTIC 1.5cm, found in the dal. No proper apology from owner. Deducted price of dal from the bill. Service was slow. Staff ok. Overall won't recommend this place for vegetarian food. It needs improvement in their quality of food offered and service.

Worth travelling 60 miles for the best Indian food around. We have been coming here as a family for over 20 years and the food had also been nothing but consistent and always on point! Great Management, great staff and just like an extended family!

I had a starter which was lovely, and then I had a mushroom bhuna as a main. When it came out I could see a lot of oil in my dish, so I gave it stir and literally the oil started filling to the the top, I approached the waiter and asked if he could take my dish back as it was swimming in oil, the waiter did ask me if I wanted another one I declined. I was a little disappointed that the manager didn’t come over to apologise, they did take my main of the bill. Just thought the customer service from the management was very poor.

Really great food with the real "Indian dhaba" flavours. I really liked the menu style specially for curries making decision making easy. They have 4-5 types of curries which can be brought in panneer, egg and other non-veg options. Good food, good service and great ambience for people who want pub feels.

Not bad food it is nice but my food could have been warmer. Better Indians around imo perhaps i need to try a 3rd dish to get one that hits like others say. I have been here twice now - a great pint of Cobra in here and friendly staff.

Hi.all this has been my all time favourite place to go always busy great food that you can costmise its bussing family run busines parking is always little problem but as it so busy overall great place to at.

The last time I was here was 20 years ago when I lived in Leicester. The quality is still fantastic. I brought my mother who is the fussiest eater I know. She absolutely loved it.

Absolutely adore this place, the starters are out of this world & the staff are lovely and attentive. We can walk in and they already know the order. Recommend 1000% the salt and pepper fish

On the evening I went, there was a group of about 6 men who were very loud (not something I enjoy). However, not my 1st visit, please don't be put off. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and will vary the spice of food on a scale of very mild - very hot (1-10). The quality of food is exceptional 👌 cannot fault it at all. I had a lamb dish. The meat is always lovely and tender. Better still, if you can't eat all your meals, you can take them home with you, which is ideal for people who can't eat huge amounts in one sitting.

Ordered a binda curry on Sunday only to find a hair in it after the first mouthful I reported this to the waiter & he offered me a free dessert rather than not charging me for the hairy curry

Food was great and very nice, didn't love the seating we were sat next to another table literally next to us with little space, felt awkward and uncomfortable, the tables are very close to next to each other no privacy.

Great food and great value will definitely be going back.

Had our meal upstairs which I found slightly claustrophobic, service was slow but they were very busy so maybe that was why, when our meal finally arrived it was delicious, liked the idea of them providing food containers so you could take home any food that you couldn't eat. Would I come again probably not has I'm not a fan of India food and only went tonight for my grandsons birthday

Food was great, got rushed on constantly. Wouldn’t recommend booking anywhere near busy occasions. Won’t be coming back.

Food was great but we were rushed by the staff members to order and empty the table for the next booking. They were booking as many people as they could fit - to maximise the profit without actually caring about the customer experience. There are several good Indian restaurants we could have gone to for food, where we wouldn’t be reminded to order and leave in every 30 mins. Not impressed.

Great food and service as always..

It was my first time went there with my husband and 5 friends - which it was 7 of us together. A staff called Mashesh was very friendly and polite. We also had poppadoms sharing with friends I shared it with my hubby - we ate Mixed sizzling Combo (starter) then chicken Makhni, rice and Chapati (main) I went there with friends and lovely foods and fab atmosphere. What a great hospitality Definitely recommended that place and definitely will plan going there back again another time 😁👍

Mi familia y yo hemos estado viniendo aquí durante años burros y siempre se sirve comida de primer nivel! Los currys son deliciosos y hay un gran ambiente único. Las últimas veces que he visitado me ha servido el mismo camarero - Mahesh. Tiene una gran actitud, trabaja duro y cada vez que nos ha servido ha sido muy amable y nos ha recomendado ciertos platos. Un miembro destacado de su ya duro equipo de trabajo.

Absolutamente deliciosa comida en Paddy's. Visitando con la familia (4 de nosotros), para una cena temprano el domingo por la noche, llegamos después del partido de Tiger. A solo 10 minutos en coche del estadio de Welford Road, un montón de aparcamiento en la calle (3 coches como se dirigen en 3 direcciones diferentes!). Reservamos comida para las 545 pm pero llegamos a las 520 pm... no es un problema. Sentado en una gran mesa oblonga para 4 de nosotros, pero muy cómodo. El personal era muy atento y servicial con el extenso menú. No tenía un entrante, excepto por un par de deliciosos poppadoms crujientes, cada uno con salsas / pepinillos... Devine. Nos habían preguntado qué tan picante queríamos nuestros currys en una escala de 1 a 10. Pedí un 5 y encontré el mío (pollo Rajhastani Tadka) un poco ardiente, en lugar de demasiado caliente. Pero probé las madras de cordero de mi hijo (6 - 7 ) , estaba más picante pero absolutamente delicioso , al igual que la Tawa de pollo de mi marido (5 - 6 ) y el otro plato, la jalrezi de pollo (5 - 6 ) . Todos venían con arroz pilau y un naan simple o de ajo. No hubo ningún problema cuando solicitamos que no se incluyeran frutos secos en ninguna de las comidas ya que uno de mis hijos tiene una alergia grave a ellos. Buena elección de cervezas sin alcohol. Muy buena relación calidad-precio a 110 £ bebidas inc. Servicio fantástico, rápido y eficiente. Lo único negativo sería decir que la alfombra en el pasillo podría hacer con una limpieza muy buena. Los baños de señoras estaban bien (pasables), pero creo que los de los hombres aparentemente no estaban muy limpios en absoluto.

Not as good as other similar pubs serving Indian food. Mixed grill and curry could have been better. Prefer Clowes and Woolpack. The tables are closely packed so it feels cramp. However, it was busy for a Tuesday evening and seems to cater for Non- Asians.

Best indian in Leicester!! paddy and the team dont disappoint , The service was outstanding from the waiter mehesa nothing to much trouble for him .The lamb chops and chicken tikka was beautiful cant believe ive been coming to paddys for 25 plus years and never changes the quality. Will definitely be back again sooner this time.

Great food and service. We ordered the Paneer and Mogo sizzler which was fantastic. For mains… The curry comes with naan and rice included. Flavours were amazing and Mahesh our server was very good in helping us choose from the menu. There is no car park but you can park on the street. We had early dinner so there was plenty of spaces to park on the street.

Almost everything is spot on and the food is very enjoyable and tasty, the only negative I’d say is how different the spice level is each time even if you ask for the same spice level as your previous visit. For example the last 2 times we went we asked for medium hot, the first time the food was quite spicy and exactly what we wanted but then the second time the food wasn’t that spicy at all even tho we asked for the same thing. Despite this, the food has a lovely flavour and tastes delicious, just wish the level of spiciness was consistent.

We come to Paddy’s whenever we get the chance. Been here many times and never had a bad meal. The chefs will cook it to your preference and there’s plenty in each portion. The waiters always make sure your drink is never empty but don’t over do the attention. They are always polite and helpful. I definitely recommend a visit but make sure you book in advance as they’re always busy.

Worst curry ever! I’ve got food poisoning and have been throwing up all day.

Food was ok, felt a bit rushed, as soon as we walked in we were asked about drinks without being seated. Once the guy took the order and we felt as though we had to eat quickly. Everything came at once.

Such wonderful food memories, never a disappointing experience..

We had visitors from overseas and brought them to paddy's marten inn and the restaurant lived up to its expectation. The service was great, food was brilliant (we ordered mild curries and they were perfect!) We went with kids and they don't have high chairs but they gave us a round sofa table so my child sat comfortably. They also brought out the kids dinner first which is a big plus.

Ubong was the best!! He provided the best service, we constantly had drinks on our table and he served us with a smile. (Edited) my boyfriend broke his boot and Ubong got us superglue!!! Still my fave place for starters/sizzlers. Mains are ok and portions just about enough. However, VERY pricey nowadays compared to equivalent pub grills, despite the place or food barely changing.

Amazing Indian, very well-known around Leicestershire. Very busy, you will need to book in advance. The quality is excellent.

went to this place for a birthday meal, was very very disappointed. killed the birthday vibe. chicken tawa was edible, mixed grill was terrible and egg fried rice was plane and tasted like nuts. Tasteless food. But what was worse, was the service provided by the staff. The waiter that was taking our drinks, the African waiter was extremely rude and ignorant, was not listening to our order and gave us the wrong drinks and the wrong amount. When we asked him about it, he denied it and told us he gave us the right amount (he didn't) he then smirked when we said ok, very cheeky! we ate our food and we had so many dishes empty on the table, all of the waiters were walking past and looking and didn't even bother emptying the table. The waiter previously mentioned was standing right infront of us staring at the dishes and did not even clean up. That's not all, the table given to us was absolutely disgraceful. we were given a small table which all 5 of us had to squeeze into. Thanks for killing my birthday vibe! If you want to run a business properly, customer service should be your priority. Looks like someone needs some business lessons and staff definitely need replacing or training properly!!!!

We ordered many items to take away including: mixed grill, salt and pepper fish, tandoori chicken, panneer sizzler, butter chicken, keema, naan bread- All very tasty. Highly recommend

Bad points - the building was extremely cold on arrival we even had to keep our coats on until the place warmed up after asking for the heating to be on, also only given one or two serviettes at a time,I know it’s hard times but jeez. The table service staff were constantly trying to rush our order The food however is decent, nice tasty starters and the main wasn’t to bad either, though I’m unsure about each curry being priced up to include rice and naan bread, myself and my partner usually share but I suppose its a great selling tat-tic

Not been back here since lock down. Good welcome, very accommodating [we kept asking for extra people to join us]. Food order , delivery to tables, and responding to all our requests were handled really well. Food and service excellent. We visited on a Sunday evening.

Very disappointing food, we travelled far but everything was full of oil and bland. I ordered a rajasthani chicken, and my wife ordered a rajasthani paneer, both medium spice. Hers was bland and tasteless. Mine was so spicy I couldn't eat it and usually I can handle spice

What a great Indian meal! We were very lucky to get a table at 17:30 on a Friday so I suggest you book. Food was fantastic, staff were excellent and the atmosphere was great. We had the pleasure of meeting "Paddy" himself and he entertained us no end. Highly recommend it. It's a little way out from Leicester city centre but well worth the short Uber journey (7 pounds)

Good food good service parking is bit of problem

Absolutely exceptional! We’ve been to quite a few Indian restaurants over the past few months and Paddy’s is definitely up there with the best. The food was exceptional, very tasty and beautifully cooked with great portion sizes. Staff were superb as well. Could not recommend it highly enough!

The food was pretty good. Perhaps I chose the wrong dishes. The salt and pepper fish needs to be crispier. The chicken tawa was a little bland. My wife did rave about the naans. Service was very slow. Arrived at 7pm, food served at 8.30. Won’t rush back.
