I was shopping with my mum and sister on Melton Road and we were looking for a restaurant that serves non-veg food. We came across Curry Fever and decided to give it a go and we are so glad we did! The restaurant is very clean and looks great inside. The waiter was very friendly and helped us to choose our food. The food was made fresh and was so tasty. It was definitely the best mixed sizzler we have ever had! We are very impressed with the excellent service and tasty food! We cannot wait to visit again and highly recommend this restaurant.

We came to “Massala” with my husband and friends for a dine in. We had a wonderful time. Our friends highly recommended this Indian cuisine. It’s not like me to forget to take photographs of what we ate, our company was terrific. We all decided on the buffet option which they do on Mondays and Wednesdays. Comfortable seats. You can tell the restaurant is popular with the locals. We all had starters: poppadums with a chutney tray (mango chutney, lime pickle, onion chutney and mint sauce). Prawn puri, Butty kebab, shami kebab and a mix kebab. Our mains were: Prawn Dansak, Lamb Dansak, 2 Prawn Mahkani, I think. (I’ll double check and edit this review, if I have to.) Sundries: pilau rices and plain naans. Great range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks on the menu. I loved my coffee floater! Thank you so much. At the end of our meal they offered sambuca shots or baileys shots. Definitely will be back! A relaxing ambiance and atmosphere. The restaurant decoration was sharp and clean. I liked the Southampton theme photography throughout the restaurant. Great range of vegetarian dishes as well as fish (on the main menu), lamb and chicken. Also, we walked in, so they accept walk-ins. Attentive staff. Compliments to the chef.

Was lucky enough to have a curry bought for me from Eastern Spice (so could be worth bearing in mind there could be a no-cost bias through out). I was perfectly happy with my curry, naan and onion bahji were a great accompaniment. If I was in the area I would gladly get a takeaway from Eastern Spice

Excelente comida india auténtica con camareros atentos. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente plus en una ubicación muy agradable con vistas al paseo marítimo de Brighton.

My mum and I really fancied a curry while we were in Margate and after doing some research we came across this restaurant! With it already having a high star rating we thought we would give it a try, and we are so glad we did. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious! We decided to both go for the non-vegetable thali and it was lovely, it included chicken tikka, sheek kebab, meat (lamb) bhuna, chicken curry, rice and naan bread! It was so filling and we left feeling very happy and well fed! I would 100% recommend to anyone in Margate!

In these difficult times we thought we would treat ourselves to a takeaway. We had been told that the Lal Bagh was very good but as we didn't know the town too well we asked a local where it was. They told us that Lal Bagh was a bit of a walk from where we had parked and that the Indian Village was just around the corner and they said it was also good, sadly the meal was very disappointing. The mains and the rice were far too salty to a point where you could barely taste the flavours, both the mains were very thin, very similar base and taste. On a plus side the chicken pieces, although small, were of good quality. Considering it was £34 for two mains, two rice and one nan bread, they hadn't even included a couple of complimentary poppadums' or salad, which we always receive in all the 'other' Indian restaurants we use. Sadly we won't be returning but will definitely try Lal Bagh next time.
