Organised an evening for our Tennis Club. We were 20 of us. Piff ( The Owner ) was absolutely wonderful. Arranged a Set Menu for us with plenty of food and was extremely accommodating with the Table layout and Table Plans etc. Was a FAB night and we hope to be back soon.

Honestly, the most flavoursome curries we have eaten in a very long time. This is now our favourite Indian restaurant in Brighton and Hove!

I visited this Indian restaurant which overlooks the sea front together with two friend. We sat outside, because this place did not have wheelchair access. The food was lovely and really can recommend the food.

We took some friends for their first time at Malika and it didn't disappoint. We have previously eaten here and the food has always been excellent. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was outstanding. It's freshly cooked on the premises which shines through when you taste it. We had the mixed starter with salmon tikka, lamb chops and chicken tikka and it was tender with great flavours. Our friends had the vegetarian option which they thoroughly enjoyed. Our main was a chicken chettinad and a lamb saag. Both were full of flavour and the mushroom rice went well with both dishes. Malika has to be our favourite indian restaurant in Brighton and we have tried a few. Thank you for a wonderful evening and we'll be back soon.

Malika is a superb Indian restaurant if you want authentic Indian food. I’ve been eating curry since I was 16 years old and it’s amongst the best I’ve ever had. The staff are friendly and the proprietor, Praful, can’t do enough for you. If you’re in Brighton and want something spicy, this is the place to be. No question

Malika restaurant is one not to be missed. I chanced apon it as I was wondering along the promenade and I'm so pleased I did as the food was delicious. The staff were very helpful when I explained that I'm gluten and dairy intolerant and there were plenty of options for me to choose from. It was the nicest curry I've tasted, the portions are very good and I was pleasantly surprised at the pricing. I urge you to try it if you are in Brighton, you won't be disappointed! Thankyou for your attentive service, I will definitely return if I'm in Brighton again.

This was our first visit to Malika in its current location and we were so pleased that we went. Everything was first class, cocktails, wine, food and service all impeccable and very reasonable. Won’t be bothering with any other Indian restaurants in the future, we have a new firm favourite!

First through the door for a pre-concert dinner on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and we were well looked after by the knowledgeable staff. The food is a cut above the usual standard and whilst the prices might seem a little high at first glance the location and the overall experience justify the price. We enjoyed tandoori king prawns and a chicken Madras - both really good and nicely presented. Cobra is on draught at £6 a pint and we had a bottle of Australian Chardonnay which is a bit of a bargain at less than £20. Definitely worth a visit!

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is one of the best Indian Restaurants I have tasted in 20 years of being in the UK. Everything was fresh and piping hot and the Chicken Biryani was definitely to die for. Only thing I would want to change about the whole experience is the service. The quality of service definitely does not meet the standards of food. Our waitress was sulking for most of it and seemed very stand offish and arrogant whilst taking our order. Another young boy with a beard brought us our drinks, nearly spilt it all over and very abruptly told my husband to wait when he went to ask a question about the menu. As an Instagram food blogger, I have always seen staff go their highest limits to keep their guests entertained and this definitely wasn't it for me. The host, was very respectful and greeted us at the entrance and whilst we left. Very good food and a lovely wine selection but I would have felt more comfortable if the staff were friendly.

You feel welcomed from the moment you enter and the venue being right on Brighton seafront is ideal for visitors and locals alike. The food menu is excellent for non Indians to understand exactly what their getting. Service was very good and attentive and better than most Indian restaurants we have been to. Hot food served hot and not just warmed through. Prices a little high for add ons although mains were as you would expect based on location. We felt at end we would be happy to recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting town.... We even asked if next time we could bring our small dog and they said that was fine.

Extremely good food and decent service, if a little rushed. But it’s expensive - very expensive. Nine quid for Aloo Gobi is daylight robbery and they charge for the minuscule chutney tray, which most Indian restaurants supply for free if you’re ordering poppadoms. The restaurant is bright inside (possibly a bit too bright) and sits on the seafront between the slightly more upmarket Brighton hotels, so I guess you’re paying for the location. Watch out for the service charge, too.

I really enjoyed my chicken madras and roti here, in very clean surroundings with fast and attentive staff. I am a curry connoisseur and the madras was spicier than most, almost vindaloo level, which is good because a lot of restaurants dial down the spice.

The chefs have got it right! The food was fabulous - authentic & flavoursome. The issues here are the bright lights decor - just too clinical. And the management. Our starters were forgotten and they truly seemed barely bothered.

First time we ordered from here and we’ve finally found a decent Indian takeaway! Food was delivered quickly and nice and hot too. The Korai was delicious and the free popadoms were a nice touch also. Will be ordering again soon.

We had dinner with friends who had visited Brighton. The food was lovely, it can lean towards being very rich but is always nice. Service was slow. We had ordered some starters and while wait staff were clearing table we were told our mains were waiting to be served and did we want them now. We all agreed and were a bit shocked when our main meals were served 20 minutes later. We then had to wait a further 5-7 minutes for rice and naan's as our waitress had forgotten to place the order. We received no apology for this. We didn't want to complain as it was our friends last night in Brighton and we didn't want to ruin the night. We spilt the bill deciding not querying the service charge. As we were about to leave our friend was approached and told we owed 9 pence. Very disappointed with this considering our wait on sides and drinks with no apologies for mix up.
