Usamos este restaurante regularmente en familia como comida para llevar y para comer. La comida siempre es excelente el servicio super amable. Vivimos en poynings y no siempre es el lugar más fácil de encontrar... los conductores siempre se aseguran de encontrarnos. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente!

4 of us went for New Year’s Eve and ate about 9pm, the food was very average, the staff just wanted to finish up, at 10.30 we were told ‘we’re closed’ so had to leave, we weren’t offered coffees or desserts, absolutely appalled! We would never return.

Paramos esta noche, literalmente tuvimos media hora libre, los chicos fueron fabulosos, la comida salió rápido y fue absolutamente excelente, incluso diría que fue el mejor curry que había probado. Bien vale la pena una visita, a un precio muy razonable, la presentación estaba en su punto y la comida era deliciosa, chapuzones para poppadom eran increíbles, un montón de opciones. Bien vale la pena sin duda volverá

Thanks for a horrible meal last night after a long day at work! The vegetable madras had zero spice and was so horrible sweet, there was some onions and a few potatoes so was just all sauce! The "cheese and garlic" naan was completely plain and undercooked and not a bit of garlic or cheese in sight. The salmon tikka starter? Where do I start? Infact just look at my picture!!

Had a very nice meal here yesterday evening even though it wasn’t busy it was a pleasant evening the staff were attentive food was delicious . The restaurant has nice decor and surroundings. Thank you

Both me and my daughter are so disappointed by this order. We have had many times as well as eaten in the restaurant. The food has no flavour and my garlic chilli chicken was bland to say the least. I had heard several similar reactions from locals that have has a bad experience in the last couple of weeks. The meal went in the bin and not the standard we get from just eat and it's now left me apprehensive to order a curry again. It's a lot of money to just trow away.

Food lovely - the Goan chicken Masala was really nice - but not really a proper Goan Masala! Food also arrived still hot!

We did not receive our food which was delivered to the wrong address. I noticed the error straight away on the order confirmation and rang the restaurant to give them the correct address. I expect a full refund, thank you.

Fuimos con amigos - sabía que la reputación iba cuesta abajo, pero todos tuvimos una mala comida. Sabor v sospecha ( 2 comidas con sabor a detergente) , muy poca carne, demasiada salsa. El servicio tomó siglos, se sentía como si estuvieran tratando de llegar a nosotros por más bebidas. Lugar utilizado para ganar premios bajo propietario anterior. I requested a 7.30 delivery and the food arrived at 7pm. The driver said itvwa delivered early because I lived 10 minutes fro the restaurant.

Curry was horrible tonight ( Chicken Dansak) the lentils was very over powering. Ordered side of chips which was under cooked. The rice, Bombay Potatoes was nice. Very disappointed !

2 hours and 5 minutes after ordering our food arrived, it’s cold and we’ve had to microwave everything to eat it, around 8 it said it was out for delivery so has it sat in a car for an hour before being delivered to us?!!

The food turned up pretty much bang on time and it was nice and hot and totally delicious. Also really good value for money so it's a win win :) My first time using this place and I'm very impressed - well done.

We’ve just had a great meal tonight! Everything was perfect and it’s one of the better authentic and affordable curry houses we’ve been too, especially in Brighton where prices can get a little steep! They looked after us from start to finish, but mainly, the food was great :) The chutney tray was extensive, with a few extra options compared to usual which was nice. The mains and sides were all very flavoursome and not overly oily. The chapati and mushroom rice were okay, but completely outshone by the chicken tikka which was sizzling and very moist, and the Chana saag which was delicious. The korma was a little sweet, but heavy on coconut which was lovely. All in all, this was cracking!

I was disappointed tonight which surprised me as the Elizabethan is my regular. The popadoms were stale, the chicken in the dansak was dry, the extra passanda sauce I got did not taste good and the naan was burnt at the bottom. What happened guys?

Terrible food. Chicken Korma came cold and was tasteless with little strips of chicken that was overcooked. The sag was cold and oily. The overall meal had to be thrown in the bin. Do not order from this restaurant!!!

Hemos estado tratando de encontrar un buen lugar, auténticamente preparado, curry en el área de Brighton & Hove durante años y ahora finalmente hemos encontrado uno. Esta fue una comida pedida en su sitio web para su entrega en nuestra puerta a una hora especificada. Comenzó con puré de gambas reales, popadoms, seguido de Jinga de gambas reales, Jalfrezi de gambas reales, arroz pillau y naan de ajo. El curry explotó con frescura y sabor, el ajo naan era perfecto, ni pastoso ni como galleta. Todo fue una delicia para comer. Pedir en línea era muy fácil y una ventaja es que podía poner solicitudes debajo de cada artículo en cuanto a cómo quería que se cocinaran. Relación calidad-precio, sin duda. Lo recomendaría sin dudarlo. Los visitaremos pronto para una experiencia adecuada en el restaurante. Marvellous.

Fabulous food ! We were a group of 9 and we all were very impressed ! Well deserved praise to the Elizabethan staff who even confirmed by returning a call about gluten free options :)

Really disappointing food, the chicken was of a poor quality and tasted like fish!!! The Naan bread was undercooked, the rice was cold! Food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering so to me that means one thing!! Pre cooked food and zapped in the microwave. We order at least once a month but will be trying somewhere different. The food has been going downhill for a while.

This place has gone downhill. Staff are very rude. Saw into kitchen and it is vile. Overpriced food swimming in grease. Avoid

The order was delivered for minutes after the advised earliest delivery time. What’s so frustrating is that the quality of the food is brilliant, but every time they advise I delivery time, then are late to deliver. I’ve decided I won’t be ordering from them again for this reason.

Visited Elizabethan Tandoori on Friday with two friends and we were all very impressed with the fantastic food and friendly staff. We had shown up an hour earlier than our reservation was booked for and they were still happy to accommodate us. We'll definitely be returning!

The delivery was made at 19.30, 40 minutes later than the latest promised time. The food was cold and there was an item missing from the order (cucumber raitha)

Lovely place not rushed great food

The app said delivered but it wasn’t and the driver couldn’t find the house and the food is cold. Tried to call the restaurant countless times to find out where the food was but nobody answered the phone. Very disappointing.

The taste was great but because the food was do late it was not warm enough.

Curries do not come with rice despite costing ~£10, missing item too

Regular customers, but the quality of the food was poor, 5 small bites of chicken in main dishes, was mainly a carton of sauce, that cost £9.95, onion Bahji was burnt and over cooked! Seemed as though they had been reheated. Food was Luke warm, salad looked like it was from the day before. And I’m feeling rather unwell today!!! So disappointed.

Normally get takeaways from here, it's a great Indian restaurant.

We regularly order from here and would normally recommend, however on this order which was an hour late and then the driver came back as he'd given us the wrong otder, was also missing onion bhajis from both kebab mix starters, the madras sauce had leaked from the container and the madras itself only had 4 small bits of chicken. Restaurant refuse to compensate and Just Eat have not got back to me and its been 7 days so awful service on both parts. Appreciate things can go wrong but this is at our expense.

Late review for this as I visited 3 months ago, so I'll keep it brief. From what I remember, I came home to tell my wife we had to visit as the food was delicious. Portions were good size, restaurant was very clean, service was polite and friendly, but most importantly the food was very very tasty. Prices were comparable with other curry restaurants. I normally go the Ashoka, which has upped it's game in the last year or so (I presume it was taken over as it was so poor before), and whilst I am more than happy with the Ashoka, I felt The Elizabethan was slightly better.

2 weeks in a row they got my order wrong, tried ringing the restraint and they did not answer the phone, I am very dissatisfied with this restraint

Very good Indian restaurant, big menu, many traditional variations including quite spicy Madras curry. Cosy atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, thank you! No parking, you can find place on street or at miller and carter opposite.

We have used the Elizabethan Tandoori for several years, originally to dine in and now only for dine-out. The website booking system is too complicated, keeps returning you to the previous page and the in-house booking system is unreliable. Use Deliveroo, Just-Eat or other delivery companies as they provide updates regarding progress. Ordering direct does not, and our order was lost this evening. No complaints once it had arrived (an hour later than confirmed) and we will remain customers.

It took 2 hours for our food to arrive. We tried calling and both times were hung up on.

Took 1 hour 30 minutes to get to us on a Tuesday evening. Turned up cold. Onion baji was burnt and very dry, couldn’t eat it. Curry was very dry and struggled to it eat it. Won’t be ordering from here again

I got what I ordered. That was yummy butter chicken and ceylon curry (lamb). It had 1 papadum, mixed onions. The delivery was on time beyond expected. I would reorder in again. Also, I got a stamp card. I'm so happy about it.
