Ordered delivery and accidentally ordered Chicken Tikka Saag rather than Masala. I'm glad I did, it was delicious! Will be ordering again. Good price too.

Worst taste of food wasted my money

I was visiting Brighton with work from South Wales, with a colleague that is very much a curry conneseur, as am I. We tried the garlic chilli masala and it was very similar to my favourite North Indian Garlic chilli chicken from home. Beautiful thick sauce, perfect heat. I was really surprised how good it was. Excellent value too. Full meal for 15 quid. 5 stars.

Very poor food quality. No taste of chicken. Not cooked properly. No cheese in naan. My first and last time ordering food. Would not recommend.

Was sent wrong main dish, although it was correctly written on the lid. Had already served it up so too late to ask for correct replacement. It was Ok but not what I was looking forward to.

Just thought the food was pretty average. Everything was over cooked and chewy. I’ve had better versions of the same thing elsewhere

***STAY AWAY!!!!! The owner is a lunatic. shouting down the phone when I’m trying to tell him that my order was incorrect. He Clearly doesn’t know how else to communicate and the only language he knows is screaming at their CUSTOMERS. For the sake of a £6.95 curry that he doesn’t want to refund. Highly embarrassing. Disgusting service. I ordered a chicken madras and received a vindaloo instead. I called up to complain and the guy started back chatting me saying I ordered a vindaloo when I have the proof that I didn’t as I ordered it on the delieveroo website. I have an intolerance to extremely spicy foods at the moment and it’s a dietary requirement to not have overly hot foods. He was just extremely rude and hostile which resulted in me raising my voice back at him. He told me to stop shouting when he was the raising his voice and telling me I’m wrong. He told me to “take it up with delieveroo” which I have done but it’s left me out of pocket and hungry. If I had a nut allergy and the incorrect item had nuts in it I dread to think the outcome. I would have reported you to trading standards. Learn how to speak to customers. Stay away from them would be my advice. Vile man. **in response to message. I have a screenshot of my order on the delieveroo app that just says chicken madras. No signs of vindaloo so not sure where that has come from!! Whoever I spoke to on the phone was rude and obnoxious and needs to learn manners. I can appreciate that’s it not the restaurants fault, but I am a paying customer that has received an incorrect item. Vindaloo is extremely hot and I couldn’t eat it!!! Compensation such as a partial refund would have been appropriate! I spoke to delieveroo and they have also been useless. You have lost a customer due to lack of customer service skills

Ordered through Deliveroo and the food arrived spilt all over the bag. I phoned the restaurant and their immediate reaction was "F Off". I don't care how good or bad the food was, it's not a great idea to speak to clients like that. Do not deal with these idiots.

Came an hour earlier than I ordered for. Chicken was drier than a bone. Ordered 2 curry's and I only received 2 poppadom's (2 single ones) and one bag of salad. Delivery driver could not manage to open the down stairs door. Never ordering again absolutely abysmal which is a shame because I got recommended this place by a family member.

FANTASTIC TAKEAWAY .....Had 2 meals and it was delicious aswell as great value. We had vindaloo and the korma combination absolutely lovely nan breads onion barjees sag aloo poppadoms so much left over this morning for breakfast lol you must try this indian food from here.

Great food, great customer service, highly recommended. I ordered take-away for collection and for some reason I couldn't apply an offer discount to my order on-line. I called them, placing an order over the phone, and when I explained, they did it anyway, in the form of a deducted side-dish from my original order. They even threw in extra poppadoms. Friendly staff, and the food was absolutely delicious! Thanks.

Absolutly delicious!!! by far the best I've had in years! you can tell the ingredients are all so fresh, the food was amazing and full of flavour. Compliments to the chef! Highly reccomended. note to the owner: instead of a sign on the door saying 'we are open', how about a sign that says 'cumin side'?

Order from Spice Lounge twice. Both times the food was cooked to perfection. Delivery was quick and the driver was polite and friendly. Will definitely be ordering again

I have been ordering from this establishment ever since it opened and have never been dissapointed. Without a doubt it is the best takeaway I have ever had. The staff are lovely and and will always adjust to make the meal you want. I ordered a wrong meal last night, my fault, but turned out to be a fantastic meal. Can't go wrong. Highly recomend.

Have recently switched to Spice Lounge as my new regular Indian Takeaway restaurant. As my previous regular that i had been using for over 10 years has sadly dropped in quality. Have now ordered 3 times from Spice Lounge and i am truly impressed. The food is top notch and delivery is fast. Prices are also relatively okay in this day and age. Only fault was in one order there was a hair in the inside of a lid. Apart from that Spice Lounge are great!

Please do not under any circumstances order from this establishment the food is not fit for a North Korean diabolical no taste Nan bread under cooked pakora a joke a fried fritter and a cauliflower the vegetable curry was passable but was only 10% eaten all the rest was binned

Very pleased that this great take away has opened down the road. Real depth of flavour in all of the dishes that we had and a good level of heat. Portion sizes were a bit too big for us, but otherwise perfect.

1st time ordering tonight. And was not disappointed at all! Absolutely delicious, arrived hot, tasted fresh and full of flavour, you will not be disappointed if you order from spice lounge. They've definitely found themselves a regular customer here!

Prompt, efficient and friendly delivery service. I gave specific requirements, and the fantastic food was delivered exactly as I asked for. The head chef Ali is one of the best curry house chefs in Brighton and Hove, and can cook the food exactly to your liking. Just ask when ordering. Good quality ingredients and delicious food, highly recommended!

I ordered for collection, I got the Chicken Jalfrezi, Saag Aloo & Garlic Naan. I was pleased with the taste and quality of the food. I highly recommend this place for anyone ordering

We ordered Veg Rogun, Veg Dall Ki Saag and mushroom bhaji and rice and also received a complementary onion bhaji and papadoms. The food was all delicious, the sauces were rich and flavoursome and the spices and veg tasted really fresh. The staff were really nice too.We will be ordering from here again next Saturday.
