Normally fantastic but tonight wasn’t great. These things happen occasionally everywhere

Took out a takeaway and firstly found a teaspoon mixed in with one of the curry dishes which was not appetizing.....whether they left their chef's "tasting spoon "in or it was a random spoon that just happened to fall in ...who knows? Overall the food was bland for curry and extremely oily. Won't go back!

I consider myself a connoisseur of Indian restaurants having travelled the world. Whilst I was not expecting Michelin star it was the only restaurant available at the time I wanted to eat. First observation is that the owner is a very rude and arrogant individual who has no time to even greet customers as they come through the door. Everything was a real effort and there is a couldn’t care less attitude. They are understaffed and I suggest they do most of their business on takeaways as the staff spend more time on the phone than attending to visitors to their restaurant. The food…. Absolutely disgusting. Slapped on the table, with a hot plate only to find that that was how they intended to heat the meal as it was freezing. The main course was the worst masala I have ever tasted and everything else was a greasy slop thereafter. They asked me if I wanted it heated up in the microwave! Upon departure not even the slightest hint at an apology in fact the owner grunted to his colleague not to talk to me as I complained as there were clients sitting nearby. They simply couldn’t care less. So if you want great sloppy food heated in the microwave then the Bengal Lounge is for you. Bengal chancers I dare say!! When it came

If I could give 0 starts I would!!! Was feeling a bit peckish and ordered a pizza and some sides and it’s way passed they’re arrival time so I tried to call them several times and it went straight to voicemail and I still haven’t received my food or a call or anything

Terrible and rude service. Didn’t manage to order food in a timely manner so left. Staff not attentive at all. Never will return.
