I think for what this place is and how it is run. It’s one of the best places on the road. Service has always been 10/10. Friendly staff. Welcoming. Always helpful. Great menu and prices. Keep up the great work! Prefer the tea here to other places on the road and sugar ring donuts are amazing.

Second time here for an authentic desi breakfast made in house, service was excellent and fast. Welcoming staff and made sure our food was cooked to perfection for us to enjoy. Definitely a family spot for authentic Pakistani breakfast😍 samosa chaaat hit on another level. I’ve had desi breakfast aloo paratha freshly made, chenna halwa and puri and karak chai🙌🏻

Had a wonderful time with family. We got the channa chaat- cold and samosa chaat- hot - which was a highlight. Also try the milk cake - very light and creamy

Wanted to try a new place than Chaiwala since its too mainstream and everybody goes there. It was a good experience at Khan Chai, they’ve served fresh breakfast, tried aloo paratha breakfast along with channa and omelette, Karak Chai. I would definitely recommend this place. Note: I’m not from Manchester, so wanted to try some new place.

I never wanted to give a negative feedback to anyone. I went to do breakfast today as i heard they have very nice breakfast. The Chickpeas served were harm warm and half cold. Not fresh and not even properly ovened. tea was not a good taste even chai shai opposite to them serve the best tea. Waste of money and even halwa was not fresh i should give them 1/10. Not happy at all and not recommend ever. I left more than half of it. Puri was not up to the mark not made properly

Food is good but the staff specially girl are very uneducated and backward,there is one small skinny girl on evening time looks like she is working forcefully,every time i go there she stand there with crying amd tired face like she is doing favour on costumer.never say hello ,thanks,please.i never seen any smile on her face. I think khan chai should teach the staff how to give good costumer survice on counter

We was gonna go to chai walla but we seen this place khan chai and we thought well try this not been there before but thought we'll try this, I've never left a bad review for anything and this is My first time. Honestly the service was awful and I was disappointed going with the family. . The only good thing was the pink tea.

The tandoori chai and karak chai is exactly the same but just bubbly and charge extra pound for that. Meant to be served in a clay cup but they dont. Took a while for our order and kept missing things from it. We had to keep asking for a bottle of drink which was missed from our order and came about when my friend getting annoyed after the 3rd time. The wrap meal my friend had was mainly full of lettuce and sauce which he wasnt happy with. We will stick to other tea places next time.

Chicken and Veg samosa tastes really good. Karak chai is very vice as well.

Clean shop, the desi breakfast is lovely, definitely better than the chaiwala across the road, service could be a bit better and helpful as the girl on the till js seemed like she cba but bcos of the food I'd highly recommend it.

Really poor tea unfortunately. Actually had to return them for a refund - first I’ve ever done that for tea! I’m pretty sure it was heated in the microwave. This was the end of the night, so I can understand if the kettles were turned off. But should have said that they were finished rather than warming it in the microwave.

Discovered this place by accident walking around Cheetham Hill. I hadn't had breakfast yet, so gave this place a try. I had the traditional breakfast of Halwa Puree and a Chana Masala. The food quality was good and I didn't have to wait for ages either. At around £5 it was good value for money.

I got a Kashmiri tea , 2,50 £ very expensive and the tea was not really good , I don't recommend

Very nice and helpful staff and good food. We reach quite late around one o’clock today and there desi breakfast was finished but they were kind enough to made breakfast for us my son ordered chicken tikka wrap and donuts everything was fresh and very nice such a good experience we’ll definitely come again

Desi breakfast is £9 it’s too expensive also not tasty it’s better to go (the royals) same breakfast only £6 also nice and friendly customer service khan chai it’s expensive and customer service is rude

Terrible experience as was served meat when ordered vegetable samosa!!! Terrible service and samosa was too greasy!!!

Khan Chai was best cafe around. However, food quality is going down very fast (lightning speed). The main issue is food quality (most of the time served cold and sometime microwaved Gur wali chai). Dear management team please look into this issue and “Fix it”.

Changing the review on this. Previously had positive experience and gave 5 star but on my last few visits its been extremely poor. Customer service and food quality have been poor, karak chai is not the same. My friend ended up binning the chai and got a different one from another shop. Hopefully the management can improve this.

Visited on a Wednesday evening around 10pm . Milkshakes, mocktails and halva, do not seem to be on the menu certain at this part of the day. The fresh donuts were very nice. Karahi tea was not that great. Pre boxed Milk cake so was nice but i presume they purchased this externally not in house. Service - no smile with service.

Visited this place on a weekend recently for desi breakfast and it was fairly busy. We ordered desi breakfast which came with chai. After the intial mix up of plain parata instead of aloo (which i'd paid extra for), the girl at the till rectified it by bringing an aloo parata. Happy days! I had two paratas. The food was outstanding and chai amazing! It was delicious! We really enjoy good desi karak chai and this was one of the best, hands down! The price, quantity, quality and taste were outstanding. The staff is also nice. We'll certainly be back!

I tried the desi breakfast with my friends, ordered desi chai paratha with chanay, egg an omelette. Prices are decent at £5 for paratha, chanay and a tea. Taste wise its decent but the portion of desi breakfast is really small an especially when the paratha is huge. All 3 of us that ordered breakfast had loads of paratha left over. Plus side nice place and family feel. Great location in cheetham hill.

Nice clean place. Chai was ok, had rose milk cake. Decent portion.

We were planning on getting breakfast and eating in but hygiene was not on point. Tables were dirty and flies that sadly expired were left on the seats. Raised the issue with staff who weren't concerned about the hygiene standards so decided not to order.

2 visits and seems to be getting worse, first time order breakfast with omlette and got 2 confused eggs, 2nd time ordered 2 breakfasts and got 1 plate with toast and eggs and 2nd plate with omlette and toast. The sausages, beans and hash browns went for walks, 10 mins later the chef with a confused look still wonders what I'm waiting for, I mean bro come on I'm still waiting for the rest of the breakfast, by now the omlette and toast with the tea, ICE Cold. Chef is a great man, but the guy on the till needs proper training and needs to be non customer facing, worse thing it at the end of the whole pallava they charged me an extra 5£ coz the guy at the till entered the order wrong though he took it right as he confirmed everything 3 times

Delicious food! The desi chai was delicious. We really liked the halva and the cake! The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended this place, if you want desi breakfast this is your place. The parathas are freshly made for you, not frozen like most places.The Chai is the best 👌. Staff are very friendly and service is great.

Went yesterday with friends for breakfast, but was much disappointed ☹️ as the Parathas were burnt from one side, also the Puris were like Popadom not soft like traditional Lahori Puris, asked them to replace but again the Puris were not cooked from one side… not going there anymore….

I have been the regular customer of chai wala visited khan chai for the very first time and I love the food especially the desi breakfast its far better then chai wala. I will highly recommend it .

We were traveling from London thought we will go to Chaiiwala for breakfast but saw this and gave a try . It was worth it . Desi breakfast was excellent they make fresh parathas not frozen ready made like most of the chai shop do. Chai can be improved but was nice . Nice and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely come back

If you are craving some good ol' desi karak chai, this is the place to go. They also have add-ons like saffron etc. All really balanced. They also do a "tandoori" chai, brewed in a clay pot. That is my favourite and is definitely worth a try!!

Been to this tea joint on numerous occasions. Most of the times they don't have the special tandoori chai available when infact it's their speciality hence why it's called the special tandoor chai. I always go at different times, 9pm 10pm or 11pm but its very rare they actually have it the speculates available. Today I went and the lady at the counter told me they've stopped serving it therefore I challenged her as I had driven out 30miles for this particular tea. Her response was, we've stopped serving it as our machine isn't working but this was also the same reason they've given me on numerous occasions. Left my number for the manager to call me as the staff was unprofessional and couldn't answer any of my questions. I would advise the manager to make sure all items on the menu is available until close time just like other establishments and if you cant serve specific items then simply take it of the menu. Overall my honest review is, this place is not consistent sometimes its really nice and sometimes its tasteless and goes straight in the bin. Chaiwala across the road is consistent and the tea is always the same. The owners should maybe look into this and possibly hire staff that actually care rather than just playing on their phones or dancing to music. It's a tea place not a nightclub.

Best karak chai,milk cakes and donuts. One of the best places to visit with family and friends for good food. Customer service very very good every thing was ready and was served within few mins after order. Much much better taste and service then chaiwalla.. Highly recommended........

I mostly go out for breakfast (English or desi depending on mood). I usually go to chaiiwala all the way from bury. But other day when I was on my way to chaiiwala I looked at this new place (maybe old but I’ve never noticed this place) so I asked my friend let’s go in and try. We went in and order a desi and a English breakfast. Gotta say ABSOLUTELY LOVED THOSE PRATHAS!!! Parathas are not frozen ones like I used to have from chaiiwala and the chai is actually KARAK CHAI🙌😍. The lady on the till was very friendly and professional. I felt like being at home tbh.

Pink tea tastes like water with pink food colouring. Will not be returning.

Very nice classy place with sitting inside 🪑, very warm welcoming staff with quick service, everything made fresh right from the kitchen, best n worth of price breakfast meal including One paratha 🫓, Tub of Channy 🍛, Achar, Yummy omelette 🍳 and a cup of Karak ☕️ always available to give you boost for the day. Highly recommended.

Ridiculous will never order from here again Placed an order which was delivered with a hand written note telling me that part of my order had ‘ran out’ so they had replaced it with something else ( an egg) I asked that they give me a full refund and that I did not want what they had sent me as it is not what I ordered (and paid for ) and they refused. They told me that ‘these things happen and I will get a call from the manager ( which I didn’t ) (Refunded me £1.95 on a £15.00 order )

Visited Khan chai today ordered 4 teas one Karak with sugar one pink 2 karak without sugar to take out got home about to drink one without sugar it was of also the second one as well very disappointed I was a regular there but will not be visiting there establishment in the future I understand they are a new company but in reality a take away or restaurant should check if food to be consumed by the general public is fit for purpose also looking at the other negative comments I totally agree with you guys I’ll take my business to chai wala so so poor there milk should be fresh everyday like the rest of consumable food they serve .
