Went here for food and although it was lovely it doesn’t cater to Gluten Free individuals. I was told various things were Gluten free until I got to the deserts section where there was a QR code when scanned showed that everything I had eaten was not gluten free. If you have coeliac or intolerance than ask for the QR code before booking

Very cheap run of the mill buffet, staff and service were great but the food was sub par in my opinion. The dessert selection was extremely limited we visited on a Sunday it was very busy but in my opinion nawab is the king of buffets in Manchester

Just OK. Starters OK, rest average. Some cold food, brought a fresh Lasagne tray, thought it would be hot, freezing cold. Rice was cold too. Won't be in a rush to return.

It was our first time today at Al-Maidah and we are glad that we didn't miss it. Great ambience, perfect service and management, cooperative staff, and food was good too. A few things need to be better in food like seekh kebab. Overall it was awesome!

£22 for all you can eat of amazing food and you get 90 minutes and I've never made it past 60 minutes. Better to arrive early or book for bigger groups.

The food was very good and tasty the staff were extremely friendly helpful and kind the portions of food they gave us was very generous i really enjoyed my time there but if i had to give some negative feedback I’d say that the jelly you gave us for desert was really hard so please with all love and respect soften your jelly. But overall i would definitely recommend to go here it was truly a blessing thank you al maidah.

Amazing all round. 5 star food and service well looked after especially by simran and saman. Who were great and helped a blind couple who came in the group with us. Really nice of them. Also their management were approachable and helpful. I love going here.

Went in on Christmas Eve. Had a lovely night with amazing food and fantastic service. Roma was a delightful waitress who gave us the best service. She was attentive, listened to feedback and passed it on to the kitchen. Amazing experience. Best buffet in the country.

From the moment we stepped through the door, it was a 5/5 experience. We ate around 5:45pm. The restaurant was relatively quiet, we were made to feel extremely welcome the staff were so attentive and extremely polite. The food was excellent and so well priced. I would highly recommend Al Maidah, we will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff for a great evening.

Our table was reserved and available, as promised, the waitress was polite and it's pay before you eat system which I can understand and is clearly displayed. The drinks are actually good value compared to other buffets, the food was fresh, full of flavour, just the right amount of spice. 2 things that weren't so good were some of the staff cooking food, it felt like you were annoying them by asking for a lamb chop or a simple question, think thier might have been a language barrier, also the tables could be spaced out abit more. Overall I would say a million times better then nawaab on Stockport road. Would go again.

I've been visiting over 10 years now and can honestly say Al Maidah is one my favourite venues, its stunning - every little detail is paid attention to inorder to make it perfect for the bride and groom, along with their guests. I absolutely love the new stage and decor. The food is amazing, staff are friendly and accommodating along with the manager. I would definitely recommend this venues for all kinds of occasions.

Ten out of ten for food and hospitality in all manners, Yesterday at Almaidah, the food is best in town, Everything is great especially Lamb Nehari, Paya and lamb chops. Best food within reasonable Price. I love to visit again and again in Sha Allah every week.

I have Been afew times before the food was good or ok but the last time we as family went the food was shocking bad. Having spoken to the people who work their we got to the truth in the end if you go on a week day most dishes are old from a day or two apart from some starters like chapli sheek chicken tikka etc. All mains are old also some starters are old. So disappointed

Feedback for Al-Maida Restaurant, Manchester I recently visited Al-Maida for their buffet, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Here's my honest review: 1. Limited Buffet Options: The variety of dishes was quite limited for a buffet, especially given the price point, which is almost the same as MyLahore or Nawab. However, it doesn’t come close in terms of value or quality. 2. Taste & Quality: Chinese food: The vegetable rice barely had any vegetables, and there was no sign of a proper shashlik. The sweet sauce they provided was below standard. Desserts: The kheer was completely tasteless and lacked any richness. Other items: Doughnuts and haleem were decent, but nothing extraordinary. 3. Poor Replenishment: By 9:30 PM on a Sunday, a lot of the food had already run out, which was disappointing considering it was still within the dinner service hours. Overall, the food deserves a rating of 1/5. While the doughnuts and haleem were passable, the limited variety, average taste, and poor management of food made this visit far from worth the price. Definitely expected better.
