Highly recommend had the tandoori salmon was very good and had a chicken madras food was excellent definitely go there again friendly staff

Just about avarage. Got a mixed grill the lamb was tough the chicken was dry. No chops. For £13.99 I'd expect better quality food. Good service and nice place on the inside.

Excellent curry house. Fresh flavours and no problem boxing left overs to take home to enjoy later. Really great selection of poppadom accompaniments, I particularly liked what seemed to be a red pepper chutney, I haven't seen this in other Indian restaurants and it was very flavoursome.

Excellent service, good food. We often order from here and it usually takes around 45mins for delivery, food is always hot. Online ordering always works ok. Occasionally we eat in and the staff are good humoured, efficient and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Takeaway Lamb Jalfrezi was the best curry I’ve ever eaten in my life. Unreal. 10/10 - very nice people as well.

Overall, I would not recommend Gaylord to anyone looking for a good Indian meal. The food was simply not up to par. However, the service and ambiance were both excellent.

Magnificent food with friendly service

Have been coming here for over 20 years and keep coming back, love this little gem of of a restaurant. The food is always amazing, served piping hot and presented beautifully. Lovely and clean, great service by friendly, welcoming staff.

Very greasy, virtually raw Puri and Roti (how hard can it be to cook bread?). Tasty King prawn Jaffrani (but very greasy) and disappointing Gaylord Masala. This used to be my favourite for Indian food but something must have changed. Really poor value for money for a below average meal. All containers were covered in oil which made the whole experience awful from the start. It’s a shame when what used to be great goes so far downhill.

Going down hill, used to be really good, must have changed the Chef.

Absolutely outstanding- a Tuesday night brought to life with some incredible flavours. We have a range of tastes in this house and these guys didn’t disappoint- a delicious korma that impressed the group; traditional and thoughtful bhuna; a surprising and fiery Naga that was utterly addictive. Fresh, hot, fluffy naan. Well done folks! 👍🏻🙌🏻👏👏👏

Awful service. Ordered takeaway, specifically asking for time to delivery at the start of the call. 45 minutes, OK. No food one hour later, so I call. Ten minutes, driver is nearly there. OK. No food 15 minutes later, so I call. Ten minutes. No longer OK, but when is it really coming? It was indeed ten minutes. 1 hour and 35 minutes in total. Here's the kicker. Driver tells me he only picked it up less than 10 minutes ago! The food was never ever going to be delivered in 45 minutes. If you're busy, good for you, but don't tell such an outright lie. Not the first time this has happened with Gaylord, but certainly the last time for us.

The famous Sunday buffet is no more. Probably just as well was we used to over-eat too much fried stuff in those days. We had a mother's day dinner here. Food was good quality, well cooked and reasonably quick to arrive. Not over-oily. I like the new Naan bread quarters, recommend the garlic version. The crockery could possibly do with a more frequent replacement cycle. Nothing to complain about, will visit again.

Good cold and very late with no real communication from restaurant to explain why. Will not be rushing to order from here again.

very tasty food, really delicious, the aubegine was particularly tasty, so soft and tender. Only complaint, if you can call it one, was that the pickle pots etc,. were a little meager but we enjoyed it all nonetheless, so thank you

Food here is usually outstanding however, the delivery driver never rang the doorbell. This left me with cold Indian takeaway on my doorstep. Considering I had to warm it in the microwave it was pretty good.

Fast delivery, food was great but they forgot the dessert which sort of ruined it all.

Food is a total waste... On top of that the order was not complete. I have not complained about the missing NAN.. because there was no point because no one was able to eat what we have already got.

First time of ordering and receiving take away from this place, waited over an hour - which would have been fine, however in our opinion the food was not worth the wait. Will not be ordering from here again.

One of the curries was so dry, the other so hot that we couldn’t eat. We’ve ordered so many times from here but this time it was awful. The food arrived cold and the naan was soggy 😔

We’ve always ordered from our regular Indian restaurant around the corner from Gaylord however with it being a Friday and we knew they’ll be busy we decided to order from here what a mistake that was…. An hour for delivery ok. Its a Friday we accept that! But the food was terrible - paneer over cooked - okra they left the stalk on and no flavour the king prawn was dry - the lamb chops were dry and chewy. Not one dish was worthy of a praise unfortunately. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

First impressions were great, but after served drinks and declined poppadoms was left waiting over 45 minutes to place food order. People on other tables were having the same experience, not sure if just a bad night but no apology or acknowledgment of the issue even though we pointed it out. Service was really slow throughout the whole meal and sadly soured my experience. I would not return as there are other restaurants close by that offer great food and give a great service, do not recommend.

Very rude people, make an order on Deliveroo. Delivery time was 30min, then after 45 min called and I was told it’s coming 👋🏽 And put the phone down, again called again after 30 min and same thing , then called again after 15 min and they didn't answer my calls I kept calling back and they were rejecting my calls. I had to cancel it with Deliveroo and find an alternative after over a hour waiting . Will never order from them again and I make sure no one around me order from them. One thugs is way to many in this area is Indian resturant

Great local Indian takeaway bursting with flavour. Slightly expensive for delivery however but I believe this is more the charges you get for ordering via the apps such as just eat rather than them directly. Would highly recommend to all those local to the area.

Great on banquet night (Wednesdays) for £14.95 you can have a starter, main, side and rice or naan. The service is excellent and everything we ate was delicious, even the day after as leftovers!

Regular customer here normally but very disappointed today I ordered: mixed grill: £13.95 Chips: £2.95 Keema paratha: £3.75 Onion baji: £4.50 Few hours after I started throwing up viciously.. Haven't eaten anything beforehand which would have caused this.. Pretty concerning if people aren't washing hands properly or taking actual measures to make sure the customers food is safe for consumption. Not good as this has happened a couple times before.. but one off's .. I keep going back because the food is lovely you can't fault it. Perfection! Authentic flavours and decent portions. Just I've never wrote a bad rating before but to be honest I'm quite shocked at the lack of protocols you take when preparing customers food as this is clearly what it has come down too. Please maybe introduce gloves in the work place. For now I will no longer use this restaurant shame as it is the best one in the town!

Korma sauce was watery - couldn't tell I'd put it on top of the rice as it soaked through completely. Onion bhajis were like bad supermarket ones - no crunch, just flat doughy type things. Naan was lousy as well. Didn't eat it, and bang goes my reheated leftovers tomorrow. Waste of money. Go with the Guru instead.

Ordered online, only to be told when I arrived they hadn't received the order. I understand technology can go wrong,but the money had left my bank account. I showed them this on my phone, and asked if I could tell them what I ordered so they could just make it now. They were super rude, left me waiting ages. Shoved a phone at me with someone I assume was the manager, who just hung up on me. Then they told me there's nothing they can do. So I asked or my money back and they said no. So I have left with no food and no money. Really poor service and theft at the end of the day. I have been using gaylord for around 18years and the last time I ate in the service was very poor too. Perhaps there has been a change in staff or management recently. I won't be going again now.

We used to order every week on a Sunday and the service and food was excellent, so today we ordered on a Saturday evening - we knew it would be busy and we were told it would take 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive - finally got it after nearly 2 hours, Luke warm, no apology.

Every order is spot on. No mistakes ever made and I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. Absolutely perfect food. So fresh. So delicious. Staff are so polite and food is always on time delivered or served piping hot. I went somewhere else recently now regret it. It was vile compared to Gaylord. Thank you

Fantastic! I had a Malai Kofta that reminded me of when I first had it in Bundi, India. Everything else we ordered was spot on. Delivered exactly when they said they would. Can't fault it. Have eaten in all the other Twyford Indian Restaurants and have decided that this is my favourite!

This restaurant has great reviews, however, we found the food to be a bit bland and unseasoned. We are not local and it seems we must be spoiled in our area as this food did not match up to what we are used to. The ‘king prawns’ were very small, the peshwari had very little coconut and, frankly, everything tasted the same.

Food was hot (temperature) and tasty and the curry that was supposed to be hot (spicy) was too!

I ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb saag, peshwari rice, onion bhaji and a paratha. I also got sent a free poppadom with pickles and a plain naan. The portions seemed large but it was good meat and really tasty. Would definitely order again.

After trying all the local takeaways lots of times, our meal last night was, we think, the best ever Tandoori King Prawn Shashlick, Chicken Tikka Massala and Mushroom Rice were the best we've ever had Hot, fresh and bursting with flavour This is our takeaway of choice
