Excellent food and great service.

We just had a large Party at Haweli and the whole thing was excellent. Despite us being a bigger party food came out hot, fresh and tasted amazing. Some people hadn't pre-ordered (which was on me) but the team took care of it effortlessly. They have a lovely restaurant, with attentive, dedicated staff and for the quality of food and drink and very reasonable menu. Whether you are a small group or a larger party I cannot recommend Haweli enough.

Having moved to Binfield 2 months ago and tried 3 (highly rated) local Indian takeaways that were awful, I was about to give up. Then I came across Haweli and I’m so glad! The food was delicious and I have officially found my favourite (hopefully forever) local Indian takeaway. I ordered chicken biryani with a vegetable side dish which they made extra spicy for me, chicken tikka masala and a peshwari naan. Couldn’t fault any dish, flavoursome, fresh and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant next time.

Best Indian restaurant in the UK! The service is phenomenal and the staff here work tirelessly to meet your every need. The food is perfect and there are so many choices that the menu encourages you to pick something out of the standard mundane Indian takeaway menu. A must-try if you're in the area and looking for a great Indian dining experience!

First visit for us last night,had heard good things about restaurant and wasn't disappointed,staff friendly and helpful food excellent all round great experience will definitely be returning in the near future.

Extremely disappointed, Not only did they get our order wrong, instead of 3 onion bhaji we were given 9 and I actually asked for 3, Instead of being charged £55 when my husband COLLECTED the meal he was charged £80 He had a drink while waiting, So the drink must have been £25 Never again 😒

The food was great!! The service from Raj and rest of the staff was amazing as soon as we entered the restaurant. Our coats a belongings were taken care of. I'll definitely will be coming back 5/5

I had ordered food through Uber eats and I ordered balti lamb with two Naan... After eating it me and my partner got food poisoning and we are vomiting and having diarrhea.... We had food from here before but this time it was awful even the Naan were burnt.

Only negative I would have to say is that the coke I bought was like £3.20 from the restaurant and yet is has a label on it for £2.19

Asked for a tap water and they said I had to buy the expensive vos water on the table . By the end of the meal I had found out it’s a legal requirement for licensed restaurants to provide tap water. I complained at the end and he said I asked for a jug but if I had asked for a glass it would have been provided. He is basically using semantics but what ever his reply to this message he did not offer any tap water and said the only option was expensive bottled water. Trying to upsell and rip off customers. Anyway I did not leave service charge (first time in years) after this con so I did manage to more than recover the cost of the water anyway. In a word disappointing.

What a fantastic Indian experience. Some of the best curry we have ever had. The service was brilliant. Cannot recommend enough.

Been visiting Haweli for many years and I must say this recent visit on Mother’s Day was amazing. Food was amazing. Staff were friendly and take your jacket. You feel very welcomed. Service is spot on and quick despite it being busy. Prices are fair and is the best curry around with great starters and dips. Thanks

Ordered online to pick up a takeaway, when getting order out at home, realised peshwari naan missing. Rang to report expecting a refund and apology, but was extremely impressed when the gentleman said he’d drop it round and was with us within 10-15 mins meaning meal was that much more enjoyable. This excellent customer service has most definitely encouraged us to return.

Came here just after moving to the area. Food is great and lots of unusual choices. Ali was excellent at welcoming us and recommending what we might like. Will certainly be back!

Every time we come for a meal at Haweli, the food, service and atmosphere is always consistent. Their service is excellent, we were even offered a complimentary night cap, we chose a whiskey. Thank you Haweli.

Ordered a takeaway 17/02/24 and food turned up on time but that was the only part that was good. Food was cold, tasteless and the chicken was rubbery.

Visited with friends for a catch up without the kids. Busy night in the restaurant. Were seated in the lounge. Starters very enjoyable including a huge onion bhaji. Mains were great and portions generous. Lamb Rezalla very particularly good as was the Tarka Dall. Service was attentive and friendly. Only shame was that the table next to us was quite boisterous, were throwing popadoms and naan and chocolates around at each other and had to be asked to mind their language. I appreciate the group were quite young but their actions came across somewhat disrespectful and self centred which was a shame. The team apologised to us for their other guests behaviour and hoped it hadn’t overshadowed our dining experience which was appreciated. Good to visit Haweli again and the team looked after us well, even offering an after dinner drink which was also much appreciated, and greeted us warmly again on departure thank you.

Excellent service and excellent food. We arrived without a reservation and were seated within 5 minutes. The serving staff were very helpful and attentive. There's a great menu here and good selection of drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

Great food. Service is a bit slow but that's the same for all curry houses realistically. We've been coming for years to this place and it's top notch.

The food was good, but not quite at the flavour level that I have experienced in other areas. One example was the lamb biryani. Enjoyable, but a bit bland compared to a super trad homemade style biryani. I must say, the onion Bhajis were faultless.

The food was overall not too bad, but the chicken on the bone was slightly undercooked in a couple of places though + the portion size for the mixed grill a bit on the small side.. Could be a tad what larger for the price paid!!

Wonderful food and such great service, they never hover over the table but are always on hand and we have found them very knowledgeable about the menu and advice on what to order if you like it spicy or a bit plainer it is such a pleasure to eat here

A wonderful place we have been to many times, where all food is prepared freshly and there are many vegan options. Olive oil is used instead of ghee so the food is healthier too. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and genuinely interested in giving their customers a good dining experience and excellent value for money. Thank you!

I have been meaning to leave this review for a while, to say that the Twyford Haweli is absolutely wonderful. Since living in Twyford I have regularly enjoyed great take-aways from the Haweli. The food is delicious, and the service is prompt and friendly. More recently I have come to appreciate the Haweli on greater level. Since becoming involved in school charity events The Haweli has delivered to our fairs, run take away deals and hosted our curry nights. Every time Raj and his team have been completely reliable and have generously donated to our cause. Not only this, I have found Raj to be extremely helpful and flexible- a tall order when you are delivering high quality food to large groups. This family run business is so much more than a great restaurant and take-away service. They are a huge asset to our community and I can’t wait to enjoy another meal there again soon.

Unfortunately, a the food was far bellow the standard anyone would expect. The service was great until the issue was raised then it became very uncomfortable. All in all not a great experience.

At the outset, please don’t be deceived by the outer ambience. This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever visited for the below mentioned reasons; 1. The money spent is not in consonance with the worth of the food being served 2. The service is very slow and unprofessional 3. The taste of the food is very poor compared to other Indian restaurants in and around Please think many times before you venture to enter this worthless place!

To start with, don’t get deceived by the ambience of the place . Distasteful food- it’s not even close to Indian/ Bangladeshi food. Horrible sad music even after requesting to change it they didn’t. Very very expensive for the portion and taste of food served. NO VALUE FOR MONEY AT ALL. Service was polite but not good - didn’t get tissues after asking multiple times. The entire vibe and experience was very bad. Infact I was feeling restless to stay there with long time taking service for the little quantity of food they were serving. There are many many Indian restaurants around Wokingham , Finchampstead and even London that serve amazing food with better value for money. Felt deceived by the end of our family lunch.

❌Please stay away from this place⛔️❌ To begin with, the prices on their website are not indicative of what you find in the restaurant…so that’s outright CHEATING! The beer was served at room temperature without checking with the patron. The portions are very small especially the Mix Tandoori platter worth £17 is almost equivalent to mix starter worth £7 which they have wrongly advised to us it would be sufficient for 3 ppl..again outright LIE! The taste of the food not to mention is disgusting, misrepresenting/undervaluing the Indian cuisine (Bangladeshi cuisine included). Horrible Mushroom preparation ever encountered! Lastly, although…the service is polite, it is unprofessional! £80 dent to the wallet for the poorest lunch I have ever experienced!

To start with...the starter, paneer shashlik was totally with out a pinch of salt and tasted horrible. Mushroom bhuna curry again tasted very bad and stale, chicken zalfrezi tasted the same. For all the curries, the base is the same! I really doubt what kind of cuisine is this. For the quality and quantity of food served, it is very very expensive. At the end of the day, we regret wasting our precious Sunday family lunch experience. I would not recommend this place at any cost, please look for alternatives!

From the moment we walked in to the minute we left the service was fantastic. We were greeted by friendly staff and did not have to wait long between courses. The food was delicious - very fresh and hot. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon. By far the best Indian takeaway in this area.

My partner and I went for dinner here on a random Tuesday night. We recently moved into the area and thought we’d try a local restaurant. Hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. The service was so attentive and everyone is so polite. The presentation of the meals was amazing. The taste of the food - insane. Even the poppadums were the best we’ve had. The chicken dishes were tender and juicy. The manager, Ali, was really lovely and even gave us Baileys on the house. It was a special dinner and we 100% will be back again with friends and family!

This restaurant is superb on all levels. Welcoming, a beautifully laid table, unparalleled service, and a really lovely dinner. Haweli delivers excellent value for money which is why we will return.

We have not visited this restaurant before so this was a lovely surprise to find this great place on our doorstep. the waiter and manager were very good and made us feel particularly welcome . The dishes were explained to us so we knew what to choose and the meals accompaniments were really good . The onion bargees were enormous and good for sharing . My husband had the Prawn Korma which he said was the best he has ever had . The chicken Dopiaza was also really good and the portion sizes were very generous . This is not a cheap place however because the quality and portion sizes are good it does represent good value for money . The restaurant itself is well styled and the whole atmosphere friendly and comfortable. -- now we have discovered it we will return.

We ordered here as we love their restaurant but the takeaway was terrible all the curry’s were like water we spent a lot as it was my mums birthday but I would never order from here again.

I ordered a delivery and it arrived basically to the minute predicted. First time I've used these guys too. The chicken wing starter is absolutely amazing, I cannot praise them enough! The rest of our food was very good indeed. I'm so glad a friend...

Used Haweli for a while now, despite being warned by friends that they had previously overpaid for drinks due to creative accounting by the staff. Anyway, we went recently and the same happened. Massively overcharged, and when asked for an itemised bill they avoided providing...

Portion sizes were good and the meat dish was okay. However, vegetable curry was just bland, greasy watery cabbage and the biryani had undercooked vegetables. Popadoms and pickles were lovely. Delivery was on time.

Five stars as the food was excellent but not to my personal taste: the mushroom rice had a strong taste of cumin, which I don’t like so I couldn’t eat it. I’m used to it being just rice and mushrooms. I gave it to my vegetarian neighbour who said it was delicious so just personal taste. The pasanda was most delicious but it had sultanas (or some type of fruit) in it, something else I’m not keen on in a curry and not usual for a pasanda in my experience. They were picked out.

Very, very poor. All the curries tasted similar. I asked for mine to be very very spicy... but it was a bland as you like. Even when they upgraded it, it was still not punchy. The Bhindi was mushy veg covered in the same bland tomato sauce as the main currys...rather than being a precise vibrant okra dish....

Absolutely loved this place. The food is authentic and amazing Tasted lamb..which I have always hated the taste and mouth feel of...and I loved it.
