Well what can I say, fabulous services and delicious food. We went on the Sunday and had the buffet option, superb value for money. If I was local, I'd be here every week!

We only visit every few months, but the staff always remember us the next time we come in. The food is always fantastic and the staff can't do enough for you.

Experienced the Wednesday night fixed price menu, everything was lovely. Had some reservations after reading the mixed reviews on here but was pleasantly surprised. Also the staff were friendly. Look forward to visiting again.

Went to theRajmoni with family for Sunday lunch.Had a most enjoyable meal.We had the Sunday buffet menu and it was more than sufficient for our different tastes(age range -55 to 88)First class service.We will return.

Good food and service but not cheap

I've never really had a lot of indian food and wasn't massive fan of it. However visit in Rajmoni Cuisine tonight changed it. It was really good food with amazing service. Looking forward to trying some more dishes from this restaurant. Ps. Saag Dali was brilliant.

Had 3 takeaways and eaten in the restaurant 3 times too and this place has never failed to impress me. The staff are really friendly and the food is incredible. My dad says it's the best curry he's had. Definitely worth a visit!

Just 'escaped' having spent 8 days in hospital. Very much enjoyed the food here. Poppadoms and drinks whilst making our choices. We started off with a mixed platter for two, crocodile tears and 'cheeseballs' which we shared between three of us. I had the oriental thali, my two guests had lamb bhuna and lamb tikka massala respectively. Naan bread and pilau rice. Irish coffee, Whisky to finish our evening. The service was courteous, prompt and welcoming. The food was hot, tasty and well presented.

Really disappointed. Wanted to start a tradition of date night at the local Indian. Last Sunday we arrived and it was lovely, this Sunday however was absurd. As soon as we arrived we waited for a while being ignored. Once we were finally seated our server kept speaking really quickly asking us questions and would then run off to the front bar before we could even say anything. Very strange behaviour that we expressed to each other immediately. When we eventually managed to order our drinks, I wanted a tap water and my partner was going to order a drink once the food had arrived. Our server ran to the front bar again, came back and informed us that “the boss” said we had to order drinks. We were quite taken a back and questioned “we have to pay for drinks we don’t want?” To which our server confirmed. We locked eyes with each and immediately walked out the door and ate at the brilliant Red Rose Indian restaurant in Woodley. Can say we will not be going back to Rajmoni.

AVOID!!! This restaurant is a SCAM. Not sure why it’s called All you can eat, you are only allowed to order 1 starter, 1 main, 1 rice/bread. The staff are extremely rude, they purposely take the menu away so that you don’t order any more food. They want all your money for a BUFFET, but this restaurant offers by NO MEANS a Buffet. It’s a shame as the restaurant and food portions used to be good, it’s gone extremely downhill in the last couple of years. The staff are also very discriminating, they prioritise English customers and will be all friendly with them, and don’t care about us (other ethnicities). We reported to the owner that we felt left out, his excuse is full of sh** and gave me some lame excuse. We have been loyal customers since 2013, we will NOT be going near this restaurant again.

Not a great experience. My king prawn palak was tasty with plenty of prawns but certainly not a medium heat but my husband’s chicken Rogan was watery and tasteless. The service was really poor and inattentive, we and other tables had to ask to get our orders taken and when the food came one dish was missing only to be found left on another table. We also felt it was very expensive.

Dined here with friends who stayed locally Great menu , reasonably priced, pleasant service and comfortable surroundings . Food was excellent as was the service . Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will def return .

Chicken was chewy. The owners seem to go from good meat and standards to rubbish to save money for 3 months. Then picks it up again, then goes cheap… really poor. All the food tasted of nothing

Disappointing. Advertised as all you can eat and we have been before and not been told there were any limits. We would normally have a few starters and little to no mains but today we were told we could only have one starter one main one rice and one bread. The main was a lot smaller than anything ever given there before. 3 small piece of chicken per person. Rice was about half the size of portions received on previous visits. Also charged for the sauces with the poppadoms which we have never been charged for before. Staff were rude to us as well. Ignored for 15 minutes after sitting us at the pre booked table. Eventually got menus and then took ages to take order for drinks and poppadoms. Hard to get attention to order starters and then when we asked for more bhajis we’re told we could only order one set each. They were not full portions and small sized ‘buffet’ size. Just overall not a nice experience especially when you can see other tables receiving multiple plates of starters! Won’t go back again.

This place is wonderful, the food has a lot of flavour to it. The rice is my favourite ❤️. The staff are very kind and they even gave us warm tissues and chocolate before we left. 5 stars. Definitely try this place

Delicious food but all you can eat buffet is not all you can eat. You’re expected to order one starter and one main each and the portions are rather small.

Disappointed by how the restaurant handled the situation tonight. 5 of us ordered 1 child (11) others all adults. They forgot the child’s meal which was a prawn korma and they got another meal wrong. They didn’t really apologise and I felt they could have offered my child a free dessert or even given her extra chocolate. I wasn’t expecting a discount I am aware it’s a cost of living time. I just wish they had dealt with this differently

Food was lovely except for dry chapati. Service was something else. Table cleared from poppadoms before I had finished eating and starter placed next to it. Table cleared of main courses whilst one of party was still eating and then literally pounced on table as his fork hit the plate and cleared away. Waiters hovered over us as if we were not eating fast enough for them to clear away. Two of party had desserts but no waiter asked if we would like coffee. Asked for bill and waiter placed it in table and proceeded to ask for tip to be paid in cash! Never felt so rushed to leave at any restaurant. Sorry Rajmoni no tip and we will not be back. Might as well have had a takeaway.

Awful restaurant. Food delivered over an hour late and cold. Expensive take away, thrown in the bin. Delivered cold, some burnt, some under cooked. Told 40 minutes, eventually arrived one hour and 48 minutes later. Called 3 times, each time told 5-10 minutes away.

Dined with a friend last night. Delicious food and amazing service. Will be back :)

When delivering to me, the staff member complained about me living “6 miles away” (I don’t, it’s 3.6 miles) and quite clearly did not want my order. How dare you come to my own house and have a go at me. Don’t worry, I won’t be ordering from you again. Food is also bang average.

Lovely food and not a long wait (may be a bit early) but was lovely and hot when we came to have.

A much better experience than last time in June.Super lunch with my wife and two sons.Each of us had excellent choices of starter and mains.Had the manager on good form and attentiveness.We will return.

The worst experience! Avoid this place! They do not offer all you can eat buffet on a Sunday as advertised and only told us this after we had paid! They brought us out tiny dishes of re heated food which definitely didn’t equate to the money paid! The food was awful! Staff were rude and even began arguing with each other in another language! The manager was very rude particularly towards the children! We were here to celebrate a birthday and had informed them a week before arrival but we were treated very badly! No one else in the restaurant was asked to pay before hand and now we realise why this was done…..I wouldn’t go back to this place if it was free!! Absolutely shocking food and customer service!!! AVOID!!!!

The food was terrible. Table staff were so rude and the manager has an awful attitude. Food was also cold when it came. The staff told my family that weren’t eating to leave the restaurant if they weren’t and was told they have to pay even if they don’t eat. Do not recommend this place at all

Rajmoni has been part of Lower Earley for many years. I would thoroughly recommend, either eat in or takeaway. The food is always, hot, spicy and delicious. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rajmoni. 10/10

Always had a good curry here in the 15 years we've lived in Lower Earley. Either takeaway, sit in or on this occasion the first time we've tried the Sunday buffet the food is always good. Seen a few moany reviews but that's typical of TripAdvisor. It attracts the whingers. Would recommend this curry house to anyone

As I've previously reviewed eateries in the locality, there isn't much around here. Average meal at best.. I had onion bhaji which was fine. King prawn Korma. Naam bread which was cold... Pricey as is with the eateries on this complex. If this were in Rushholme Manchester it was be closed to be honest. As its in Lower Earley it functions.

Have lived in the Earley area for 20+ years and used to eat here over 10 years ago when the food was half decent. More recently have been very disappointed with the standard of food. Very bland, not much meat, very lazy cooking in my opinion. So I've had a couple of people say Rajmoni is alright now so I foolishly went and bought a takeaway. Kept it very simple, Chicken Tikka Madras, Garlic Naan...£13.90 Let's start with the positive. The naan bread was acceptable. Could have done with more garlic and it was on the small side, but ok. The Madras however was unique. Upon opening the lid I was hit with a very strong peppery smell, not pleasant. The Sauce was more like a soup. The chicken was hard and dry, clearly not cooked that day or week even. So the overall combination of hard chicken in a soup with no flavour and an intense pepper taste (that's all it had, was heat, zero flavour) was probably the worst 'food' I can remember eating.

Avery disappointing visit to one of our favourite Indian restaurants.An early evening visit on a Monday but no excuse.Starters okay,popadoms best part of the meal. !Main courses very bland and too many vegetables with less chicken than normal.To top it all the plates were lukewarm and so food soon cooled.Chefs night off ?We will not be returning in a hurry.

Advertised as eat as much as you like buffet on Sundays. But it certainly isn't. It is still 1 dish per person and we were refused any extras even though our plates were clear. Was also very rudly told we had to spend a certain amount on drinks in order to get the buffet price which isn't advertised anywhere. A real shame as food was actually OK but certain staff have 0 manners. Won't be returning. And would definitely not recommend.

Visited this restaurant yesterday for Mother's Day. Eat as much as you like buffet. There were 10 of us including 3 mothers. Never visited this restaurant before even though we have lived in Lower Earley for over 30 years. So we ordered our starters and were going to order individual starters for each of us but they recommended they bring out a plate with a variety which we agreed to so as to make it it easier for them. They brought out 2 small plates for 10 people so after these were finished we requested 2 more plates. These came out with half of what was in the original plates. No problem we thought! So just before ordering our mains we requested one more plate. Please bear in mind this is an eat as much as you like buffet costing £16.95 (extra £2 due to Mother's day). The owner of the restaurant starts waving his hands about saying no more starters for you in the most obnoxious manner conceivable. We have never experienced this type of rudeness EVER in a restaurant. Very upsetting as we also had young children on the table. I spoke to him in private to inform him that this level of rudeness was unacceptable and that we were doing him a favour by agreeing to have a shared plate (really should be platter) rather than ordering individual starters. Also informed him that he should change the name of the buffet to NOT eat as much as you like buffet! No apologies for him so just left it as did not want to spoil the rest of the dinner. In an unbiased review of the food we found it all to be very bland but I have no problem with that as these things will happen when you go to a restaurant for the first time. I did not think things could could get any worse but when the bill finally arrived they added extra for sauces and poppadum's which we did not even have. We all just wanted to get out of the place at this point. To conclude we obviously will not be going back primarily for the rudeness of the staff.

I love the food here. The owner is so attentive and welcoming. I felt like he paid such an interest in ensuring we had a great experience.They deserve 5 star reviews, and I'm so glad it's local to me. I dont eat out often, but when I do, I go there. The take away is good value.

Terrible the portions were soooo small and the prices are very expensive never again no towels or chocolates after bad bad bad!

Went for all you can eat to be told I can’t have anymore, you can’t eat more than 2 of the same dish. It’s definitely not all you can eat, staff were rude apart from the young man cleaning the table to who we gave a tip but he was called to the manager who took it off of him. The food that we were aloud to eat was very good tho.

My first experience was a good one! Seated promptly & drinks were first to order then from the extensive menu ordered fish & another chicken biryani. I asked for non-spicy and that how it was, but I believe it was prepared before hand. The price was a bit on the higher end for what I had, but overall was good experience and had a very pleasant staff and experience here. Note that I asked for the meat and told it is Halal, however, spirits are indeed served here to customers who ordered it. All in all, nothing really special, however, since a few restaurants are nearby, this is ideal for occasional South Asian dinner outside. Enjoy your meal! Update 29/1: tried the Sunday buffet today. It is not a walk-in but a la carte. So you have a small menu, you order an item & they bring to you. You’ll end eating less but you do not waste food too. The choices are good value for the price. However, you can not take leftovers home.

Don’t ever go here to have Indian food. Tasteless and bland. We ordered chicken tikka Briyani and Hyderabadi Briyani. There was no difference. No spice and no flavour. Just basmati tossed in oil and minced tandoori chicken. The gravy that was provided alongside Briyani was also tasteless. Will never come back. The service was good though.

Only 1 Star because zero isn't a option. Had a Sunday buffet today and it was disgusting, samosa was frozen in the middle, chicken was tough, lamb madras had 2 bits of lamb in and tasted horrid, beer on tap was flatter than water and to top it off the staff are arrogant and rude. Food is thrown on the table, they give you a attitude while ordering, you feel uncomfortable ordering more than a curry and rice. I'll never use this place again. Its gone downhill massively over the years. Thought I'd give it another try but wish I didn't bother

Staff were very rude, my friend mentioned her coke was flat and the manager argued with her so in the end she asked for a lemonade, the manager then brought out a bottle of lemonade and asked her to try it before she wasted another whole glass full. Each dish was slammed down on the table. My child didn't touch her dish and I asked if I could just take that one home, they then told me no so I had to argue as I had paid for it and she hasn't even had a bite ( only 3 pieces of chicken in the actual dish ). I spoke to the manager about my problems and all he said was ok and sorry and walked off. This is the first and last time I will be going there, I have never wrote a review before but I was disgusted by the customer service here.

Ordered food online to be delivered asap. The food arrived more than 10 minutes earlier than specified the delivery man was very friendly and polite. The food was very freshly cooked and hot and was very delicious. The only slight criticism was of the peshwari naan being a bit stodgy and not very coconuty! The food is not cheap, but good quality. Would definitely order a takeaway from Rajmoni again - thank you!

Rubbish food as well as rude behaviour

Went to visit this restaurant today and have the worse experience ever. The owner have no manner. He treat the waiter badly in front of us. He Charged doubled for the starter and dropped cutlery 3/4 times. We went few friends to have some good times to hangout while everyone of us busy working and social life but this guy (owner) in front of us all the time like staring and listening what we’re talking about. come on bro learn some manner give leave space for the customer. Don’t recommend anyone to visit this place .

Curry tasted like dishwater. One of the worst ones I’ve ever had, took 2hours for it to come, went straight in the bin, paid £30 but wouldn’t even pay a £5 for it. Definitely won’t be returning.

We visited yesterday for the buffet experience and unfortunately it was definitely an experience!!! From the moment we stepped inside to the moment we left we felt very uncomfortable. Once we were sat at the table we were handed out the buffet options and the server took our drinks order. We chose a few starters to share and was told we didn't need to order so much which we all felt was very rude. When it came to ordering the mains again the server was trying to get us to choose just one option which we all stated it was supposed to be an all you can eat and no food was going to waste. We were never offered any more drinks even though our glasses were empty and it was clear we were not really welcome. It really is a shame because the food tasted amazing and it was such a lovely meal but put off by the servers standing around staring at us the while time. I understand that no company wants to waste food but to offer a service that they clearly don't want you to use is a little bit ridiculous. Being spoken to like a child and told what you can and can't eat is not an enjoyable experience when your out with a group of friends celebrating.

Always excellent food and service

Friendly staff, albeit the guy with the suit on at the bar was on his phone the whole time I was waiting for my food (disrespectful, I don’t get away with being on my phone at work). I’m not sure what has happened here but the food was terrible, lack of flavour and tough meat. Unfortunately I will not be going back, shame as it used to be decent.

I was recommended to go to Rajmoni and I wasn't disappointed! You are greeted as soon as you enter like a friend! The owner Mr Jashim really makes you feel welcome. The restaurant is lovely;very contemporary and extremely well presented. Robin was chatty and informative and also made me feel very welcome. The food.. wow! I asked for extra spice as I like hot and it was seasoned perfectly! The chicken was plentiful and tasty!. Great portion size for both curry and pilau rice and the nan was lush! I'm local to Rajmoni and It will defo now be my go to when I have a curry craving! I feel its important to leave good reviews when they are deserved as often people just complain ... you won't be disappointed here .. !

It seems like every time we go to this place they get the order wrong. Also this time some of the food was Stone Cold and the naan bread arrived after we had finished our meal. Yes they have an eat all you can menu but the portions when delivered are so small and they are very quick to take the menu away. Will not return to this place ever

With one main dish missing we phoned for them to refund the dish but apparently they can't do can't do refund over the phone, quick enough to take the order and payment over the phone though? Meal was OK but plenty of rubbery chunks of chicken. Won't bother with them again. Shame as used to be ok

We ordered food yesterday for takeaway and when I saw the food I was in shock as the food is so less and they just burnt 3 pieces of paneer and packed them and call it a paneer tikka and rice was not cooked just half boiled, coloured them and nothing is freshly made. I just binned 35£ of food in bin as no one could eat it. I felt very bad and we all slept hungry. Very disappointing.🙁 Not something that I would ever recommend to anyone. And this is not Indian food please don’t get fooled by the name. Would never go there again nor would recommend it.

we went there on Sunday buffet with a party of 10, it was not open buffet, but understandable due to the pandemics. It was quite disappointing since the food was so sweet, service was also lacking, we ordered few dishes which never came, we had to chase several times on the missing dishes

I don't often get to have an Indian takeaway, as my wife won't have them in the house. But, she was away last night, so I treated myself to a takeaway from Rajmoni. Good decision! The staff were friendly and efficient, and the Lamb Dupiaza was so tasty and tender. Thoroughly recommended.

The chicken was very over cooked and bland in all of our meals. The restaurant could also do with a deep clean as I could see dirt and dust in the corners of the floor. The windows are all in need of a clean . Staff are nice but seem to interested in getting your order and not about the whole restaurant experience. I will not be coming back here!

Great tasty food on Sunday buffet. Enjoyed it. But the main downside is not making us aware of the actual prices. The buffet was actually 11.95£ and not £10.95 as stated outside and on the menu, mentioning this earlier would have been better. Ordered a drink from the menu and was charged another price, the waiter then stated "oh, this is the old menu" - which I found it somewhat hilarious and naive. Should definitely improve this for a better service.

We have eaten in the restaurant previously and though we would have a take away. Big mistake! The food is totally different Both the Madras and Vindaloo were very watery and tasted of just chilli Both naan breads were burnt. The Chana masala was solid. The vegetable side dish was just oily onions and a bit of frozen veg The Tandoori mixed grill jus slid out the bag on oil slick. We will no longer use this restaurant and they odiously just don't care about there take aways. I suggest you don't waste your money there

Having had poor service with deliveries previously and some food quality and order issues, I wanted to give it one more try, as we have used Rajmoni for many years. But again, let down by the delivery service and had several quality issues with the food. Yes it was new years eve, but they should be prepared for a busy night. Made online order, which was accepted via email with an estimated delivery time of 35 mins. 2 hours later we tried for 30 mins to call, but no one would answer. Had to drive to Rajmoni in order to ask what was happening. Order turned up at home while we were gone. Food was tasty as always, but naan breads were burnt, one of the starters was overcooked and so was the lamb passander. Very tough and chewy. And the puri bread was missing from the coriander chicken dish. I'm very sad to see the standards drop at Rajmoni, but I have had problems now with the last 3 or 4 orders, so will be trying some alternative restaurants I'm afraid now.

A first time customer of Rajmoni (but definitely not a last). We enjoyed the set menu for two at £29.95 delivered - Chicken Tikka, 2 x Onion Bhaji, Chicken Tikka Massala, Lamb Rogan Josh, Sag Aloo, 2 x Pilau Rice, 2 Naans and 2 Papadoms. The food was delivered right on time, was piping hot and so tasty. It was plentiful too and the two us really couldn’t finish it! We are already planning our feast for New Year’s Eve!

Tough times for many restaurants at the moment so its time to support our local establishment. Rajmoni has always provided great food which the local community has benefited from. Takeaway service is all that's on offer at moment so we should all take advantage so Rajmoni can continue to serve good food either in the restaurant or takeaway in the future.

I’ve tried this Indian twice now and both times the food has been amazing! Very flavourful and tasty. Love the chilli naan bread and the veg side dishes the most! Will definitely be eating here again :)

Had been using this Indian for many years and watched it grow, but a couple of years back it went backwards, food not great and very basic which was disappointing, so stopped using, but thought would give the benefit and orderd a delivery, well what a nice surprise food delivered on time from a nice new menu with new dishes which were delicious and hot.Thanks Rajmani you have my attention again and look forward to our next meal.Also Happy Diwali :) linolen

Great food but rude staff and missing item! Food was 1 hr late, already a 40 min wait!

As always the food is great. Super tasty. But have tried delivery now 3 times and always very late. Estimated 40 minutes today and took over 1 hour. Same previous times. Also missing poppadoms and puri from one of the dishes and nan bread was burnt. Please guys don't let your standards slip, and get on top of the delivery side of things please. Over 1 hour is too long. I'm in two minds if I will order from you again for takeaway, as today was not good. :-(

Shokcing rude service. We called after the food was 20 minutes late the phone was answered by a shouty man who shouted at the staff while we were on the call and shouted at us. He told us our food was 1 minute away.!5 minutes later we called back food is now 2 minutes away !!! Then we live too far away we live 7 minutes away and had nearly £5 for delivery.No sorry just lies lies and more lies about when the food would be with us.Food arrived 55 minutes late with no apology.If the phoen answer had said sorry we have missed your order or sorry we are just too busy and messed up and gave a relaistic delivery time fine we all make mistakes or get over whelmed just don't lie it makes everything worse.Food was average and very disappointing compared to previous visists we won't be coming back. We would have if the magic word sorry had been said. So disappointing.
