Best take away ever ordered for group of 15 everyone enjoyed the food . Will defenitly order again

The delivery driver couldn’t find the house after explaining where to got for 30mins then he finally got here and there was and item missing so had to wait again for that then for the food to be tasteless will not order from here again

Simply superb food. Good value, We ordered Achari Chicken Mango chilli chicken The curries were lovely Chicken was very tender. Really tasty Peshwari naan was the best ive ever eaten.

Always had takeaway from these chaps but this time we dined in. Really nice food; it's always good quality, and if there are any problems they're so quick to sort them out. Very friendly people and the service is quick too. Sadly had some horrible customers in who started unnecessary arguments and fuss, but it was handled so well by the staff. Will definitely order from them and visit again, too.

Quality of food good as usual. But unfortunately as usual there was something missing, this time the veg curry that goes with biryani. I don’t let restaurant know as we discover as we sit down to eat, and we don’t want to wait for it! I thought it was a one off when it happened before. But it really is important that the order is checked before you send it out.

My partner ordered us a takeaway yesterday (New Years Eve). As usual, I just left her to it. Whilst waiting for the food I thought I'd look at the reviews. Why did she order from there? I now know why... We ordered vegetable biryan, king prawn garlic chilli, king prawn massala, nans, fruity rice, poppadums, etc. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, SO PLEASE IGNORE THESE SPURIOUS REVIEWS. They are obviously jealous rivals, people with no appreciation of decent food or have another agenda. Please give this place a try and make up your own mind. I can only speak as I find. Worst tasting curry ever ate in my life no spice massive chunks of garlic prawns were inedible

Waited 2 hours for the worst food I'd ever tasted. All the food had a strange mouldy smell everything was watery. The lot went in the bin! Absolutely disgusting. Avoid this place.

I usually always buy from you and is lovely but last few times especially this time food wasn't nice at all. Disappointed, felt like I've wasted my money!

Tasted awful really strange earthy taste

Thought amazing when it arrived quick but when I tried the food it all tasted really off. Like it was stale. I had to chuck it all in the bin. My poppadoms looked orange so I didn't try any of them. Very disappointed.

I hated the butter chicken and instead of him sending a replacement, he told me sorry I should have called. Not at all the appropriate response

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my Indian takeaway food, always do my food temperature hot, great quality food. Never had an issue. Highly recommended this establishment 👍

Absolutely disgusting food.. the chips stone cold, madras was extremely watery and no taste or flavour, the rice was very watery too, chicken was tough (the curry and chicken had a funky taste) had to get a second opinion on the taste and was told that's disgusting don't eat that! Never ever will have Custom off me again! The worst curry iv ever had in my life and iv had many!!! Your chef needs sacking!!

Some of the food was ok. But some of it tasted off and really below standard. Won't be going back for a while. Note to owner - by giving bad food to customers is only going to harm your business. If you have old ingredients, out of date etc...throw away. Do not take a chance thinking it's ok🤦‍♂️

I have to be honest I didn't enjoy the curry it tasted like water with no flavour at all has to be the worst I have ever had naan chips and rice was nice.

Absolutely, without doubt, the worst balti/Indian I’ve ever had the mispleasure to eat, nice kid front of house, but my god, it’s horrible. Waiting time was ages, and for what. That horrible tasteless food. 7 of us went, the only one who enjoyed it was my father who must have “long covid” if he thought that was ok. Tasteless, tough, meat, the lamb 🤢 was made out of dr marten tongues I think. If that’s what Baltic are supposed to taste like, I’d be a very thin Indian. For the time it took I was expecting something “out of this world”, instead it should of been “out of the shop, and in the bin at the back”. I’d rather eat my own toe nails than go there again…. VILE!. Save yourselves and go to the spinney down the road. Or anywhere else.

7 of us went for a meal tonight, we all had the different meals from the chefs recommendation list. If these were his recommendations, I’d hate to think what the “non” recommended is like, king prawn on puri starter was ok, 2 of us had that. Then the mains came, 3 of us had a Karachi with chicken, prawn, and lamb in, none of us ate the lamb, it was inedible , it was pulled out of all the curry we’d been waiting for for ages. The sauce was tasteless, the other guy who was with us just sent his back, it was that bad. The naans were doughy and tasteless, even the chips were rubbish. The worst meal I’ve had in years. Infact I probably haven’t ever eaten anything that bad at a restaurant. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the kid who served ar tables was a great lad, and I felt sorry for him having to bring that dross to our table. HORRIBLE FOOD, avoid at all costs.

Ordered a few times from here, really don't know why I continued but never again, the food apparently is catered for what they describe as the wider community therefore if you want food to be spicy you have to add a special note. Now that's not really a problem, I did that on 2 occasions yet they sent food bland. Calling to tell them they get argumentative and rude, although got to give them some credit they collected the bland food and sent more with green chilli just chopped onto the food 🤣... these guys have no clue how to cook indian food. I highly recommend soho oak or sow and grill ... now that's proper indian food.

The sauce in the pasanda was a bit too thick so there wasn’t enough sauce to go with the rice. But quick delivery and still delicious.

Food taste so good and fresh but they never seem to be able to make the food hot enough no matter how much you ask them to make it extremely hot it always taste mild.

Always great food. Raj have done something odd with the Cheese and garlic naan bread though. Not pleasant to eat unfortunately and you end up with lumps of cheese in your meal. Please swap back to the old way!

I ordered chicken bhuna which consists of chunks of tomatoes but not one chunk, it wasn't flavoursome at all. It tasted like tomatoe soup and a cheap tasteless one at that.

The food wasn’t the best and i believe i should get a refund as I was eaten Rock hard chips and the chicken was uncooked which made me throw up after eating it so I would preferably like a refund thanks or want food replaced

Well, most thrown away!!! We haven’t ordered for a while, Have they changed the chef??? The food wasn’t good at all. The chips were like last nights warm ups! The Biryani was ok, the sauce very tomatoey, a lot of it has gone in the bin. The king prawn Balti was very bland. We always order from this place when we have Indian food. But they’ve lost a customer today.

I havent ordered from here for a while until tonight, I can honestly say I was very disappointed with the food quality, it's concerning me that the chips wasn't cooked fully and was still crunchy and very pale I ended up throwing the majority of the food I ordered away. My problem is that the food arrived quite a bit earlier than expected however I would've been perfectly OK with having it arrive on time if the food was cooked to standard it has clearly been rushed out of the kitchen. Very disappointed I hoping this is a one off if the restaurant would like to talk this over then please contact me cheers

The food was cold, 9.30pm expected delivery time at the top end delivery time proposed, arrived at 10.15pm. cold, dried out chips, nann was warm as wrapped in tin foil, starter luke warm same as. Madrass.

Best naan breads here especially the cheese naan. Only issue was the chips wasn’t cooked properly and were hard.

What can I say about tonight's lukewarm food except it went straight into the bin. I ordered a madras. It was bland no taste whatsoever, It tasted like a watered down base gravy, with no extra spices added to make a madras. Chips dried up and reheated. only good thing about it was the polite fella that delivered it. You have let yourself down. I won't be ordering again Wasted £16 today

Best Indian takeaway round here. The chicken tikka passanda is very sweet and mild just how I like it. Cheese naan had lots of cheese on compared to other places that just sprinkle some on.

Ordered a chefs special curry that stated it had chicken tikka pieces lamb pieces and king prawns in it . However when it arrived there wasn’t a prawn to be seen . Which was a shame as that was the main draw for ordering it .

The veggie dishes need more flavour. Other than that it was really good.

Absolutely abhorrent experience with this restaurant. Our food took two hours to arrive after placing our order, and we received false information that the delivery driver was on route, when in fact, our meal was still being prepared when we phoned the restaurant. Upon arrival,our food was cold and certain things on our order were missing. The naan breads were too thick, the tandoori rotis were half cooked. We will not being ordering again from this restaurant.

Food was lovely as usual.. my only issue is your delivery driver, the female, just no manners what so ever! I have complained about her before…Before we have even got to the door she is back in her car one time even started to drive off as I’ve opened the door! Food just left on floor! I under if she wants to do contactless delivery but atleast wait until we have opened the door and say enjoy ur food Thankyou atleast! She is just so rude!! think I will see who’s delivering in future before I order as I have no issues when it’s the male and will only order when it is not her! 3rd time using after moving to the area, decided to try the Raj Balti Special Chakora, it arrived in good time but when i unpacked i notices it was was advertised with rice &naan, unfortunately i had no naan, rang the restaurant and was told it was with a naan or rice.... checked the menu on just eat again and states naan & rice, so for a curry and rice at £14.00 it was very very expensive..

Last minute late night takeaway and was so impressed. Piping hot fluffy fresh naans, hot beautiful aroma of the lamb balti. I was not disappointed and thank Raj Balti who also came 10 minutes early then estimated. Excellent service through out.

moved to area recently and been using my old take away in great barr, tried the Raj tonight and wow.... don't know what i've been missing. food was A1
