We’ve been coming here for years, always celebrate birthdays here with large groups, but recently it’s gone down the pan. A few months ago, we picked hair out of our food on two occasions, and today we were missing items from our takeaway order. We rang them to tell them, and they accused us of “lying” and told us to “check the bag better” and hung up on us. Cheeky bbbstards. We were left with just naan bread, rice and two trays of chicken pakora, and even our usual keema rice looks different, is more congealed, and is so bloody spicy!! What the hell.

Food is perfect service is so good but the only bad thing is the highchairs they had tape over them and they was very dirty but other then that it's perfect

wonderful meal and food. the service was attentive and friendly. Food arrived to the table fresh and hot. Prices are still very affordable and reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived at 10.30pm. Appreciate it's quite late but they are open until midnight apparently. We usually come in with our friends who know the manager but today we didn't. He didn't recognise us not that it matters. You should be grateful of any custom. All three staff members that were on (13th April 24) were giving us dirty looks. Especially the one doing cutlery. I imagine it was because it was late. Don't advertise as open until midnight if you don't want people to come in. Won't return, Vakas windmill hill much friendlier service.

Food was hot and delicious. Was treated by staff really well.

3 hours for a home delivery been useing this place for nearly 10 years absolutely disgusting don’t pay by card because once they have your money they don’t care my husband called 5 times them some young girl cheering on a Valpe delivered our food disgusting 🤢

For 10yrs+ this was my favourite takeaway I would always recommend and only ever use here if having a curry. Tonight however was absolutely diabolical. Ordered food told to collect 40mins I always add on 10 mins so arrived 50 mins after ordering. 1hr wait and I'm starting to notice people coming in after we arrived collecting their food and leaving. So I went to inquire about our food to be told 2min it's coming. Another 1hr wait still no food. 2hrs at this point a total count of 6 people after us received their food now I'm angry as for refund but what a surprise our food is shoved at us!! No apology nothing. Came home food cold and no where near as nice as usual. After 10yrs I'm sorry but will not return.

Very quite, but it was Wednesday. Food good and service good. You need to bring your own booze if you want alcohol. Overall, nice food and service.

Food is bang on only thing is some times can be a bit cold by the time we get our order delivered to us but very tasty and wood recommend

Honestly would give this place more than 5 stars if I could! Been my go to for over a year now and can’t express how good the food is even when we order a take away. Service is fantastic and staff are very attentive and make you feel welcome. The best curry in the area by far! Great value for money and you must try the kebab roll to start! 😊

Been here a few times and it’s always been amazing with great prices! The staff are really friendly and the garlic king prawn starter is one of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time.

Been going here since owner took over 10 years ago im a regular never had a bad meal. Food always served and tastes beautiful. Staff always friendly and the owner always greets you at the door unlike most places they like to get you in and out fast they never rush you to finish. Highly recommended 👌

Waited 1 hour 20 minutes when our delivery arrived the Chicken Tikka main tasted like rubber and not fresh, the chicken tikka masala tasted like perfume not fresh at all been eating here for years but unfortunately will not be ordering again

Bring your own drinks a bonus..been before once ...the staff were great accodamating and friendly. Food was really good and well cooked....even got to take home what I couldn't eat...Great place...5 stars would have been given if the toilets were improved...but will definitely be back again ASAP thank you

Firstly asked what we wanted for starter before we had even sat down.Started by ordering a drink (diet coke) which I had to ask for 3 times . When the food arrived it was good buy the table next to us were loud and the language was terrible . Staff did absolutely nothing also the restaurant was empty so could of easily of put them elsewhere when they arrived already obviously tanked up . In summary. Food good but experience not so

Will never ever order a takeaway from them ever again. WAS a loyal customer for years! And they think it is ok to serve a child raw uncooked chicken nugget's laughed at me down the phone, took them over 24 hours to contact me with my concern. Rude, unapologetic tried to bribe me with "Next time you order I will sort you out" Tried to blame the supplier of the chicken so I had too explain to them if I buy a bag if chicken nuggets from Asda and I serve them uncooked then who's fault would it be?? Urrmmm. Lost yourself a regular customer and many more. I now enjoy currys from somewhere else that serve them, not swimming in grease!

Ordered our Takeaway for delivery, the food was nice, but disappointed as it took 21/2 hours to come.

First I have to say I use this restaurant regularly and the food is always very good, but service is slow.. Visited last night and was seated at 6.45… ordered and had poppadoms by 7..(they were stale, returned them and got replacement that weren’t much better!) We then waited, asked how long for food.. no answer.. so we waited.. asked again, how long will the food be (we had a table reserved elsewhere at 8.30) got no answer.. So at 8.20 we paid for poppadoms and left.. disappointed. Others had waited 2.5 hours for their food!! Unfortunately it seems take away orders took priority over people sat in the restaurant.. shame as the food here is good.. organisation is bad!!

Ok New Years Eve and very very busy.. waited a while but worth it..Always a pleasure to eat here.. No alcoholic drinks served but u have a tesco next door so choose what u want to a company your meal to your own tastes

Put in an order at 5:30 for 8 pm it came 8:20 nothing had arrived so called then to be told they hadn’t cooked it yet it would be 30 minutes then called again after 40 minutes to be told ten more when it came it was cold what a joke.Will not be using again save your money

Ordered from these so many times never had a problem. Ordered food at 715 still waiting and nearly 2 hours later and keep being told another 5 minutes. Sorry eastern night s won't be ordering from you again. If you told your customers the truth they would then have a choice whether to wait or not.

Decided to go to Eastern Nights For Tea with Grandaughter She was so grown up Ordering her Starter Meal and Main Meal she had a Chicken Tikka Starter with Garlic and Salad and a Fillet Steak Meal bless her and i had a lovely Chicken Tikka Massala Meal with Pila Rice and Poppadums lovely and sweet and Grandad had the Chicken Jalfrazze Meal with Rice and a Nann Bread all lovely really enjoyed it lovely and great Service will go again x

We booked a table for 7.30..by 8.30 we still hadn't had our starters I asked for my coke to be changed as it was flat...he just looked at me and walked off!! A friend asked for a glass of water..again..we had to ask 3 times When someone finally took our starter order..he took 4 out of 6 ..then buggered of the answer the phone!!! They brought a hotplate for the mains...before we had even had our starters Then they took it away again...only to bring it back again One of the waiters was rude to one of the party The manager who took our main order was so rude and obnoxious I've honestly never seen anything like it... totally and utterly useless .god knows where he got the staff from The place was very very quiet for a Saturday night..I can only presume they were concentrating on deliveries. When the food eventually arrived..after nearly 2 hours it was ok...nothing special .but then it would have to be super special to make me return!! Utter shambles

Eastern night I came in for a sit down curry last night with friends. I was very disappointed when you start to order your curry and you get told what rice you got to have with your curry when it is up to the customer what rice they what and to top it off it my curry came out cold. It was like it was a frozen curry warmed up. Chips came out cold too and when you said something to them I had a look of disgust off the waiters for saying it was cold it was the worst £ 62.42 I ever spent. Will not be going back.

Terrible service more interested in deliveries. We booked a table for 10 people on a Saturday night at 6.30 pm. Didn’t get our food until after 8pm. Restaurant wasn’t busy, but they were doing lots of takeaway and deliveries. Asked 3 times for a glass for my drink, never got it. When food came 2 people on our table sent food back because it was cold. Portions were small. Won’t be rushing back

Came on a Saturday night. Wasn't too busy. Plenty of tables still on poppadoms. One customer complained of a 90 minute wait for food. With that and all the other tables still waiting for starters it was a huge red flag. We decided to cut bait and visited another establishment. Dodged a bullet. Not likely to ever return. Wish them the best.

Poppadoms was very stale. The starter and mains was incredible on the other hand. My main issue was the whole time I was eating my food a member of staff was constantly watching me. It made me feel uncomfortable and made me feel like i was being rushed to finish my food. As soon as I put my fork down a member of staff rushed over to ask if I was finished, which infact I wasn't I just didn't know how to say no politely so I just said yes. While we was eating our food we also had a couple of members of staff messing around with something right by our table, which was rather annoying. We both felt like we had no privacy as it was very quite and the members of staff was constantly coming near to our table

Used to eat here regularly but last meal ordered had unknown meat in the chicken dish and the naan bread tasted like it had been dropped on the floor. Real shame as it used to be a good restaurant until this experience put me off

Popped in with a few friends for a cheeky curry. Food was really nice I had a pathia wasn't the best I've ever had but still really nice. Would recommend.

Long wait times Waiters have zero customer service skills - very awkward Owner is very scummy to his workers Owner was swearing at his workers in his native language! Owner seems very toxic to workers! If you want to support what looks like modern day slavery go ahead! Food was bad to!

As the delivery driver (impartial) I can vouch for their cleanliness and quality. The lines go off the hook on a weekend, they receive a call every minute for about 2 hours. This is why you can expect to wait 1 - 1hour 30 min on a Friday and 1hour 30 min - 2hours on a Saturday. They’re that busy!

Eaten there for last few years never had a problem until last few months, delivery wait time or collection times are horrendous last 2 orders they have forget things and offered free poppadoms as a good will gesture! although the missing items come one hour after original delivery and they will not replace the cold food,there attitude towards us as loyal customers is not good enough and they have no concern that we order at 7pm and don't receive food untill 9.30 and then its still not the complete order and they take no responsibility for there mistakes and try to blame us etc we will not be eating there again

Been a customer for ages order most weeks but I can say tonight was awful. Ordered our meal at 7pm after waiting 2 and a half hours I rang them may I add this is about the third time I've rang only to be kepted being told 10 minutes. Well after waiting over 3 hours it arrived to be left on the doorstep which I understand with this covid around but would of been nice for the driver to have waited at the end of the path to apologise but nothing. When opening our meal we'll the chips looked like they had only been blanched not even cooked our currys were cold and to make it worse my rice was in big lumps and cold as tho it haven't been cooked really not impressed. Let's just say it all went in bin w wished we had ordered from somewhere else absolutely disgusting

Only 1 * because a negative review not ppossible. Been a customer here for 10 years. Ordered at 8pm told 50 mins to an hour delivery. 2 hours later turned up cold. If I wanted an iceland curry I would have bought one. When I phoned to complain met with ridiculous excuses. Steer clear, go to Undaal in quarry bank. Never again

I have been using eastern nights for many years and enjoy visiting or having take aways. The food is excellent and very tasty all at very good prices. The staff are friendly and efficient and the restaurant is cosy and comfortable. Would recommend.

Amazing food! Best in Black Country 100% Really busy so gave us a free round of diet Coke for a little delay! FANTASTIC!

I went here with 20 family and friends for my birthday and from start to finish the quality of food and service was fantastic. Excellent value for money and will definitely go back again. I have also had their takeaway service during lockdown and the quality of the food was just as good as eating in the restaurant. Would recommend to all.

Ordered a curry from here last week asked to pay over the phone on my card to which they said my card was not working, twice they took the number from me and kept asking me if I can pay cash on delivery . However I definitely knew there were no problems with my card and all they kept asking for was cash cash cash . Tonight tried to order another curry and same thing happened but i used a different card (my husbands card) which again we knew there was no problems with it and there was definitely money on the card . Once again all they was interested in was asking if we can pay cash after they taken the card number twice again . Has anyone else experienced this? Won’t be using again the way we been treated as they also missed part of our order and when phoned them they refused to believe us. Definitely not be using these again !! Customer service is nice

The food was excellent. The service was unacceptably slow. We waited twenty minutes to be seated and two hours before we saw the menu. We asked for drinks which never came. The waiters were surly in their manner, probably due to being rushed. Diners arriving well after us were served much sooner. The organisation was chaotic to say the least. It seemed more diners had been booked in than the staff could cater for. As we left a member of staff apologised for the wait but our goodwill had dried up by then. We won’t be going back.

Love this place, quick and easy going

Our usual restaurant was closed and we decided to try eastern nights for the first time on a Thursday night we were very surprised how good it was, the food was excellent and service very good so we decided to book a table for New Year’s Eve as we had friends staying with us, yes it was busy which we expected but again food and service were excellent, we have passed this restaurant many many times but never tried it, so glad we did, we will definitely be going again.

Bad service. 2 hour wait for food. Food ok. Staff don't care. Laughed at when asked for discount for waiting so long. Will never return and suggest you don't visit.

Just had a meal delivered, disappointing at best. Having been told 45 minutes it took nearly an hour and a half. The rice and naan breads were cold the curries were at best luke warm. As if they should have been delivered after 45 minutes but someone forgot. At best disappointing, at worst a health hazard. Shame, this is easily a 4* place but someone dropped the ball tonight. Appreciate this is a busy time of year but it will be a while before we resort to a delivery from here again.

Always fresh food best Indian in town in my opinion and reasonably priced eat from here about every other week and never had any problems.

I have used Eastern Nights for many years and the food has always been consistently of a high standard. In recent years though the license to sell alcohol was lost and as far as I know was never regained. This means you have to take your own when going for a meal. Still good food though.
