The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Today, for a family lunch, we tried the Sunday buffet and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, especially for chicken lovers – they offered five different chicken curries along with a variety of rice dishes. The atmosphere was nice, and they’re currently refreshing the exterior with new painting. The service was decent; they did their job well. Overall, a solid Sunday buffet experience at a reasonable price. Would recommend for a casual family meal.

First time of using Al-Madina Tandoori and would definitely recommend them. Ordered over the telephone and the staff member couldn’t have been more helpful. Food was delivered in the time stated and was excellent. Will definitely use them again.

I had high hopes for this place, but sadly it didn't quite hit the mark. The food was OK, but very hot, which fair enough it's Indian food, just say it's hot on the menu! Also, have some mild alternatives for people that can't tolerate the chili. The larger sounded great, but in reality it takes more like an IPA and had way to much gas. It was all a fairly high price, so expected better. I think they were aiming to be hipster, but just missed it and ended up being a bit of a flop to be honest. Could have been so much better though

We used to have bilals allthe the time and a few years ago it changed and we stopped having it so we thought we would try again. The nan bread was okay.thats it

Ordered before from here and had the same experience, absolutely tasteless. I had a balti and my partner had a rogan Josh and they both tasted exactly the same, which was literally tasteless. Awful.

It was flipping lush! Will use them again.

Ordered 2 chicken dosa's and one actually had hair inside the stuffing, on uber eats it said if you spend more than £20 you'd receive free poppadoms however, we received none. When I called the restaurant the man was argumentative and was debating with me regarding the poppadoms and called me a liar. I didn't care about the poppadoms I explained that there was hair in one of the dosa's and he said I'm lying. The hair was light brown when all of ours is pitch black. Messaged uber eats to complain about this and I was given my money back for the unhygienic dosa. Truly disgusting and disappointing attitude. Never again will we buy anything from here let alone a bottle of water.

Delivered to the wrong house and there are only 4 in the steet, food was bland even for a corma overpriced. Even with discount.

Amazing food and amazing service !!! Food was packed with so much flavour, the atmosphere was lovely, the young lady, Tamsin, who served us was so polite and attentive, we will definitely be coming back !!!

We just had a lovely meal with nice atmosphere, with friendly staff with great service thanks guys for lovely evening the food was amazing so full now we will be coming back for sure . Thank you Zamans restaurant Paddlefish John

The tandoori chicken was definitely not tandoori chicken. It seemed to be plain fried chicken with no flavour and was extremely over cooked, dry, hard and stringy. The rest of the food ordered was ok though.
