To be fair it was awful weather that evening.

Unusually the garlic rice had burnt garlic in it and the Bhuna was not the usual standard or taste

Wonderful.. food was hot & tasty. Wasnt feeling to good but felt miles better after I ate this..was delivered early too which was great. Perfect evening meal 😋

Generally a very tasty meal. Only problem was the lamb in the Tikks Masala has several pieces of gristle and was overcooked.

Got notified it would be late but was within time. Not as good as usual. Too oily and have had more prawns in a kids portion. Taste was good and poppadoms and rice good. Still would order again as usually very good

Friendly driver. But good was a hour late. * it seems portion sizes are now half the size they use be. Dips for poppadoms missing too. Jalfrezi was tasty at least though

Oh my goodness. What a fantastic place to have a curry. The service and food were five stars and an exceptional experience overall. Great value for money and we will definitely be going back.

Should tell you cash only before you order. Onion barges very small tasteless. Waited an hour for starters. Used to be very good but now going elsewhere.

very friendly staff although unfortunately the madras was not to my preference as I like it quite spicy but I can't say that's worth a down score just my personal preference but staff are very friendly and helpful

the food was dreadful, chips undercooked, the nan was hard and overbaked..the hole meal was tasteless... the tandoori chicken had never seen a tandoori oven, no Charing, no onions on top of the chicken...it was all tasteless... it has all gone in the bin...£15 doesn't sound alot but it was a treat and I feel so disappointed...will not use maha again....

not enough space here to list what happened. suffice to say by the time my food finally arrived it was stone cold. I'm reporting it to just eat and demanding a full refund. I did try to talk to maha when cold food arrived but the number went to voicemail. left a message but surprise surprise have not had a response from them. it's a shame because I'm sure when the food was fresh and hot it was delicious.

Food was really cold when it arrived and the rice was hard in places, almost like it was a few days old.

once again a number one curry from the number one curry house in Hyde.. best place in Hyde to get a great curry, always made the way i like it extra methi ginger and garlic

Food was kinda ok. Was disappointed at the lack of meat in the sauce and it lacked it usual punchy flavour, tasted slightly bland tonight but otherwise ok.

I order from here a lot, but Friday nights order was the nicest yet. The bread was soft and doughy, the naga chicken was fresh and full of flavour. Fantastic food.

ordered at 7ish for a 915 delivery, food arrived about 930, I can accept that (may have been busy) but to arrive late and then having to reheat everything. Once I had warmed it up the food was delicious. First time I've had a problem with the restaurant so benefit of the doubt, this time.

Phenomenal food as always, made even better by the lovely generosity of the restaurant for the free portion of poppadoms and accompanying pickle tray and the bags of salad. Highly recommend Maha for any Indian food lovers.

Friendly door service. But food was late & also several items cold. The steak meal and fries cold so we're poppadoms and a starter ordered though on the plus side at least they put all the items that are suppose be in the starter for once as they usually don't. And were all made tasty just shame cold. Both curry and rice were fine and stayed warm. But sitting down to eat a cold steak nearly 7pm when wanting relax with film but stuck waiting not Such a comfort evening :/ . Maybe they were just really busy idk

Ugh I've avoided leaving any negative reviews. But food was cold again. And it has been on about the past 7 orders before it. I'm actually waiting on a order now I placed a hour and 40minutes ago. And it's already not arrived. So will be leaving a much more accurate review if foods cold again rather than just keep putting excellent . Because when it's good it's good. It's slacking a lot but still friendly door service

All great except the prawn puri. Wouldn't order that again there was no prawns in it. Everything else was tasty

Another fantastic Christmas day at Maha. Great food, value for money and lovely staff made the day brilliant, finished with a free raffle draw with every table getting a gift. Well done you've nailed it, we'll be there next year.

Again, it was delicious, but it was cold. The Naga curries we’re full of spice and flavour, the keema rice really well balanced, the spicy chips were delicious but stone cold, and the naan bread was cold and rock hard. I really want to make this my regular Indian restaurant because it’s delicious, but I can’t get over our food being cold every single time.

Bhuna was the blandest curry I’ve ever had unfortunately. Food was late so overall really disappointed

Very late and they didn’t give me my drink !

First and last time ordering from here. Food was over half an hour late. The 2 main dishes were squashed and spilled and lukewarm at best. Chips were stone cold and the Naan Bread was cold and rock solid. The only saving grace was the poppadoms were fresh and crisp.

The most welcoming and reasonable venue ever. Very friendly and efficient staff and the manager greets you like family. Noticed how many customers are returning and it's almost as if he is entertaining his relatives. The food is so tasty and the menu extensive. Been coming here for many years, usually for birthdays. and, expect to be coming for many more. Many thanks again and again. Jeff

The last 3 orders we have placed have had missing items upon delivery. Called and advised and was asked to collect missing items or offered a refund for the missing items which totally spoilt the meal. We normally order from here but following this evening's order I will not be a returning customer in the future.

Ordered from here because the last time we ordered from here it was delicious but this order however was disappointing. It arrived late and was stone cold, items missing and not much veg/chicken in the curries. Naans all tasted like plain naans too.

Great food. Great value for money. Fabulous staff. A hidden gem. Went for the first time this week with a friend and now ordering delivery for family. Highly recommended. Far better value than many other restaurants in the area.

Two of the curry's had a weird taste kinda acidicy and they were different curries I don't know if it was the different extra rice we'd ordered for a change as the jalfrezi and mushroom rice were fine as usual and all the starters were perfect. Will stick to the reguarlars we order which are always really beautiful. 1 other thing the chicken pieces weren't tandoori marinated just plain chicken. Place is usually always great though so still reccommend highly

Curry’s had a sour vinegary taste so they went to waste, the chutneys were definitely not fresh either, just read a review from 3 days ago reporting the same vinegary taste which makes you think it’s the same batch and not fresh which is quite concerning, would not order again

3 out of 4 had chicken tikka masala but we all thought it tasted funny like a bit of a vinegar taste. My daughter didn’t eat hers.

Fast early delivery and piping hot. They did forget my bottle of coke, but after a quick phone brought it straight round. Excellent service 👏

Definitely have 2 cooks one for the restaurant one for takeaways. Nan bread was like a frisbee, onion bhaji where burnt in some places and hard. Chicken jalfrezi was okay. They forgot my red onions but quickly came back with them however worse red onions i have ever had, large chunks of onion and lacking in any sort of flavour apart from onion. I have eaten in the restaurant and it was lovely 2 x takeaways now both poor. Never again Maha. £25 quid down the drain.

Great restaurant to dine in but late delivery cold food bread knife couldn't cut the nan bread and soggy cold poppadoms and chips literally a 1min drive to me house and too 1hr 40 would rather of had a call to say busy and can't make delivery

Ordered king prawn and there was literally 2 prawns in the meal. Proper pathetic

Steak meal was half portion size it usually is and they forgot the chips.. curry meal and starter were excellent and tasty though

All quality ingredients, not spicy enough for me, but thats just my preference Lamb chops were really meaty one of the best I have ever had.

Poppadoms were stale Asked for 3 mango and 3 onions only got 1of each

I have ordered from Maha for 4 years now. Never had a bad meal - until today. I ordered a keema balti. For some reason they have deigned fit to give me a balti sauce with pieces of scraggly grisly chicken in it. This is such an insult. The last time I will ever frequent them. 😡

Food is good but I don’t want it left outside on my Doorstep.

Onion bhajis were freezing cold. And the rogan josh was basically an onion curry but atleast that was warm.

Lovely food and staff so friendly . I missed the delivery driver at the door and when I called him he kindly came back with no hesitation even though he had already driven back to the shop.
