Jeera Indian Restaurant - Morley in Leeds

The tandoori chicken was definitely not tandoori chicken. It seemed to be plain fried chicken with no flavour and was extremely over cooked, dry, hard and stringy. The rest of the food ordered was ok though.

flavors really nice, just the quality of the chicken for me texture is just wierd like its been frozen twice or cooked twice. Proper currys the meat just falls apart in your mouth, seems like takeaways don't take pride in cooking anymore and it costs too much to throw away if you don't like it.

Hands down the best Indian takeaway I’ve had in a long time. The curries were spot on, the rice was amazing, the naan was on point and the poppadoms and chutney were lush. Will definitely order again! Speedy delivery too!

Como regalo de cumpleaños pedí una comida para llevar en línea a las 7. 20:00 en sábado por la noche (el correo electrónico de confirmación indicaba la entrega estimada como 8 . 04 pm) , que llegó a las 8 . 25 pm - Aprecio que los sábados por la noche estén ocupados. Cuando desempaqué la maleta con ansias me di cuenta de que solo una parte del pedido había sido enviado. Al llamar al restaurante inmediatamente se le dijo que estaría con nosotros en 5 minutos (sin disculpas). Todavía no hay señal después de 15 minutos, así que llamé para quejarme. Se suponía que iba a ser un regalo de cumpleaños, la comida que había llegado se estaba enfriando, ¡y obviamente no iba a sentarme a comer sola! Todo esto se le transmitió al tipo que contestó el teléfono, y me dijeron que el repartidor estaría allí en 2 minutos. Obviamente estaba molesto y molesto, también lo estaba hablando en voz alta, y pedí un reembolso parcial (no un reembolso completo) debido a su error. Me dijeron que no le gritara al tipo por teléfono (levantó la voz hacia el final de la llamada, y habló por mí, no dejándome terminar) , que solo trabajaba allí y no era el gerente, estaban ocupados, y ¿yo "quería la comida o un reembolso"! Cuando pregunté sobre un reembolso cuando me acababan de decir que la comida estaba en camino, me dijeron que podía llamar al conductor y cancelarlo. Tardé casi 15 minutos en llegar el resto del pedido, momento en el que tuve que recalentar el mío en el microondas. Ni una sola vez se disculparon por su error, ni hicieron nada para rectificarlo. Cuando dije que iba a hacer una reseña sobre su mal servicio y no volvería a pedir de ellos, el chico con el que estaba hablando no parecía molestado en absoluto!

beautiful food amazing flavour

Use Jeera to eat in and for takeaway all the time and have done for many years. Tonight was definitely an off night. Lamb chops bland. Mixed kebab decent. Tandoori mix grill main was £11.95 and arrived as a chicken leg with a few pieces of meat and a sheekh kebab, not what was expected especially for the money. Curry looked to be lacking sauce. Hopefully this is a one off but to spend £45 and be this unhappy isn’t ideal.

Amazing food was so hot when it came we had to leave it to cool down and the flavours were incredible. Definitely recommend to anyone.

probably the worst indian food i have ever tasted.tarka dahl was like mush over cooked and full of burnt bits from the pan.chicken madras was like madras soup watery.nahn bread like chewing rubber and lamb chops were just fat no meat.trying ringing to sort this out just after it had been delivered but no anwer.spend over £30.00 tried just eat for a refund and they offered 16p absolute joke.wont be using again.

Good overall , the korma was a little bland though

The food from Jeera is always amazing. We are regular eaters from here and we could not ask for better food.

Came on time however it was one of the worst takeaways I've had in a long time. What curry house can't cook a korma? It was really runny, full of oil and flavourless. I don't know what their other dishes are like but you're after a good korma this definitely isn't the place for you. £25 for 2 chicken korma's of that quality, mushroom rice and 2 chapattis is down right cheeky if you ask me. Extremely disappointed

onion bhaji, straight out of the oil into packaging, no care taken over the preparation of the lamb which was full of fat and overcooked. The korma sauce is like off cream or tart yogurt mixed with coconut milk and sugar, not the traditional dahi and complimenting the sause was overcooked chicken. Naan bread slightly burnt.

lovely food. arrived early which was fine for us. the restaurant forgot part of our order but a quick call and the driver brought it within a couple of mins.

Been ordering for years and the food never fails. Alway delicious, always hot on delivery and really good value. Visited the actual restaurant for the first time in November for my partners birthday and it was a lovely experience. Our go to takeaway when we fancy a curry.

onion baji and nan bread were overcooked and mostly inedible. chicken in curry was quite chewy and not pleasant. Usually happy with orders here had 100s in the past, this is worst ever tonight.

Four of us went here Wednesday evening, had a great meal, four different starters, four different main courses and sundries, not to mention the pickle tray and popadoms all excellent, very tasty with great service, and value for money on the banquet deal👍

Been local to Morley it was about time a visit for a Indian meal here. Interior nicely decorated out tables laid ready. Various choices to choose from the vast menu. Taken chicken rogan josh and garlic Nan x2. Quite something cooked in a short time and tasty has well, personally yes we would return here, plus I’d have no problem on the takeaway option either. I’d recommend here

Poppadom was missing from order

Not one for reviews but really disappointed to be honest with the food received. First time ordering and unfortunately will be the last. The chicken tikka masala was completely tasteless… The pilau rice disintegrated into mush for some reason which was really odd but wasn’t edible at all. The lamb tikka was coated in what seemed like fat build up after being left for days so I had to scrape it all off to eat it. The mango chutney also didn’t come as ordered.

Had a birthday party for 25 people, we could not fault the service, the food was amazing as always, everyone enjoyed, it was well organised, all the food came out together piping hot and so tasty, would highly recommend.

Purchased chicken madras with chapatis and pickle tray cost over £18 the chicken was rubbery and not chicken breast that is excepted Rang to complain and they asked me wanted me to do and when I told them that i wold never se them again they said thank you and good bye

Unfortunately the last couple of orders have gone downhill. On this one it said it was out for delivery then half an hour later hadn't arrived. When it did it was cold and missing the chips. Shame as the curry was nice. Had to microwave it all. Will be going elsewhere now.

I can do heat but hard to taste any flavours due to extreme heat & I don't mean temperatures.

The food wasn't too great today unfortunately. The lamb was far too pink for my liking which led for me googling to see if it was safe to eat. Decided in the end wasn't worth it - the chips were cold and tasted like they'd been fried from yesterday and the onion bhaji was a little burnt .... On the plus side the garlic nan was ok.
