Had a late lunch here. Went for the lamb wrap and a portion of masala fries. While the wrap (with some of the salads) was tasty it wasn't hot in temperature. More than warm but not hot. The fries weren't much warmer and rather dry and floppy as they'd been under a lamp for a while. With extra paneer in the wrap and a drink, the nearly £15 price was taking the mick. Took ages to be served too, though the server was lovely. I won't hurry back - though one of my friends loves the place and always eats there in Trinity.

I got the butter chicken rice bowl. Chose the medium spice which was indeed spicy but there was strangely no taste of salt at all? So it wasn’t satisfying to eat. I think I reacted badly to it too - I’m Indian and am used to Indian/spicy food but had really bad indigestion after. Also the service wasn’t very friendly, felt rushed even though it wasn’t busy! Portion was slightly small too.

Really disappointing. The lamb wrap was so sweet it was inedible. (Whole thing thrown away) chips & chicken bites arrived cold, awful cold and when reheated they lost all texture and flavour. Overall the meal lacked sauce was very dry and lacked cohesive flavours. The sauces come in the smallest pots ever, considering we paid for each one. Over half of our £30+ order went straight in the bin. Shame.

But this time, when I finished the vegetables on top, I found there were only very very few chicken dices. It cost me about 10 pounds!! Sorry , was really excited by the prospect of authentic Indian street food .. really was off the mark ! Nagin Lamb curry rice bowl . Lamb was really watered down .. no flavour... the rice wasn't even tilda but cheap boil in the bag type of grain ... the additional salads covers up the bland food and really is a poor reflection of Indian street food .. I won't be going again . I could make that for a fraction of the cost and really let's down the model of what should be exciting vibrant .. unique Indian street food . I visited on a busy Thursday when Light Night was on. The service was fast and efficient but the food was very disappointing, hardly any filling and very overpriced to say it was 90% naan. I also ordered masala chips which had clearly been left under a heat lamp for some time as they were rock hard and dry so I asked for a refund. I’ve been here before some years ago and I enjoyed my meal but sadly it seems to have gone downhill significantly.

The rolls are made fresh in front of you and packed with flavour, crunch, spice, sauce - everything I love about Indian food. It's good to know this is a business with its heart in the right place too. I went to Rola Wala many years ago and recently went again. My recent visit was soon after opening time so the food was fresh and the tables clear. The spinach & sweet potato naan wrap was nice. The person serving was also welcoming and friendly. There seemed to be a lot of upselling. He asked if I wanted paneer in the wrap for an extra £1, which I declined because the wrap was already full. When I was paying he asked if I wanted fries or onion bhajis for an extra £2.50. Often in casual dining outlets sides are a little cheaper if bought as an add on to something. This was not the case here, I looked at the menu screen on the way out and the price of a side was the same with or without anything else. Lastly the cost seemed a little high. It was a regular sized wrap (they sell a larger one too) and a side of onion bhajis and it came to £9.90. I would go again if I’m nearby and recommend trying it if anyone asked.

Indian food place ran by a clueless owner and managed by an even more clueless woman that is very rude. Least authentic ‘indian’ food in Leeds, an almost insulting attempt. Used to be half-decent but now it’s just cheap cheap cheap for their ingredients and it truly reflects in their food, but unfortunately not their prices. Staff seem on the brink of walking out and I wouldn’t blame them working under tweedle dum and tweedle dee. I give it 12 month’s max before this place closes.

This used to be my favourite place to come to whenever work sent me to Leeds and am travelling by train. It became a tradition to pick up a wrap with the pulled lamb in and enjoy it on my journey back. Well today after quite some time I went in really looking forward to it. As soon as I saw what I can only describe as a teaspoon amount of meat on my naan I knew it would be disappointing. But like a polite Brit on holiday I didn’t say I don’t want it and walk away. I ended up paying for it and just hoped it was my imagination and it would be fine. It wasn’t. All I can describe is I was eating a rolled up naan with veg and I am not a vegetarian! We have a cost of living crisis and you are ripping people off. You need to be ashamed of yourselves. Absolutely no ethics no shame. If you as a business want to still be here in even 6 months time you need to reassess yourselves as you will have no business left! Disgraceful

Won't come again. Staff really professional and friendly. BUT the lamb naan I had was overpriced at over £8. (I've set Middle Feast in York as my benchmark). Naan is small and, as other reviews here say, it's soggy and luke warm by the time you've sat down. And I'm still hungry afterwards! The bowls look a bit more filling. I bought a pint but didn't really like sitting here to enjoy it. It's like a canteen; no music, grubby tables, kids screaming, sat staring at Boots across the walkway, etc. Wish I'd gone elsewhere. Me and my friend were out in Leeds looking for food, and thought we’d give Trinity Kitchen a visit rather than a chain. Having been pleasantly surprised most times we have gone, we thought we’d try a new place, in this case Rola Wala. I’d describe it as a very basic Subway if all it served was 4 different meats (and 2 vegan/veggie option) and a bit of salad, Indian ‘inspired’. The service was generally poor, with the servers having little to no enthusiasm and explaining as little as possible as quickly as possible with clearly very little depth or care for their work. When we reached the end of the human conveyer belt, we were asked if we wanted refreshments. Despite having seen the price of Brewdog Punk IPA was ridiculously extortionate (same price to buy a 4 pack), I ordered one to then be greeted with “we serve them as schooner’s, that okay?” - a 2/3rd pint of Punk IPA for the best part of £6?! Yeah, no thanks. I ended up going for a can of Hazy Jane instead, which for some reason was cheaper despite larger volume. I went for the Nagaland Lamb in a Naan Wrap, and it was as poor as my experience had been up till then. It was as dry as the Sahara Desert - tough meat, with little to no flavour past the chutney that was hosed on. The wrap was open ended, and given the drenching of chutney, it was near impossible to eat, with all the contents pouring out the bottom end and naan dissolving in your hands. Definitely not worth the money. Tables were all dirty when we sat down, and had to organise and clear it ourselves. Would not recommend going here unless you can somehow wangle yourself a free meal, even then it wouldn’t be worth it. Street Food is a new buzz word that has been making its rounds, and in the case of Rola Wala simply means ‘pay a premium for crap service and crap food’. The only positive I can give it is simply that it gave me sustenance that helped me through the day, past that very little to commend.

Ordered a takeaway via uber eats and honestly its the worst food I have ever had. ohh well at least the bins been feed 🫣 Chicken Tikka under cooked and raw, with no flavour at all. (looked like plain chicken) Chicken Chat tasted like it was mixed using water and vinegar for flavour. Lamp chops burnt to a crisp and tougher than old toe nails. Popadoms are the only thing that could be eaten but even the pickle tray was flavourless and watery Poor very poor

We have been visiting Nawaab for many years. This was our first visit under the new management and it was excellent. The service was top-notch, food was delicious and very good value. The menu hasn't changed, which is a good thing. We'll miss Jay and the gang but we'll definitely be back soon

I visited this restaurant for takeout and tried their garlic chilli balti, which was really good. I also ordered chapatis, and they were a generous portion with great taste. The guy at the reception was friendly and chatty, making the experience even better. Overall, a solid spot for tasty food and great service.
