Got lamb biryani Nan popadoms chutney tray. Biryani had no taste as did the curry. Nan was tasteless what’s happen this used to be one of the best takeaways around. Popadoms where nice but how could yer go wrong. Won’t be going again.

The service was unreal. Warm welcoming and the staff give you their time! The food was nice and hot, tasted delivious!! Will definitly be going back!!

Arong is by far the best Indian takeaway in Liverpool. Food is always so tasty and fresh. I've had deliveries before from here and I've also collected, All the staff there are really lovely and friendly and the customer service is brilliant. The shop is spotless and the food is just amazing. If your looking for a restaurant quality takeaway then this is the place for you. I highly recommend 👌

The takeaway was amazing . It’s hard to get a good Indian meal lately but this was superb! Best Indian I’ve had for years a lot of the d ones have gone crap here is my new home. Loads of meat and generous portions ! Jay ward Liverpool

5 stars. 10 out of 10 for taste and quality of meats. Moist and succulent big chunks of fresh chicken. Both meals had the spices perfect. We don't bother with any other Indian takeaway in the Aintree area. Aarong is definitely the best. Keep up the good work! Steve.

We preordered food & it was ready for collection as planned. So far so good🥴 Gets home, poppadoms were stale, in the bin they went. Looked in the food bag the naan bread was missing yet we were charged for it. My curry was barely warm & husbands meal was bland. When oh when will we get a decent curry ………

Ordered a starter nibbles and main meal for 2...poppadoms where all smashed into pieces spicy ones done in oven and not fried, tandoori mixed grill couldn't eat the meat so tuff and chicken dry and tuff to eat.. The yogurt was runny and couldn't make out which one was the mango chutney watery. My husbands meal was look warm... wouldn't go back at all or recommend the arong spoilt our evening

One of the best Indians about! If you like spice then the chicken Jaipuri Massala is out of this world!

Order food for my daughters birthday, Food arrived late, some items cold and other items missing, got told they would compensate our meal and provide missing items for our next trip, however didn’t uphold this, would never use these again

This is by far the best Indian takeaway in Liverpool and I’ve been to many of them the food is amazing and very very delicious, always hot and delivered on time.O and the staff helpful and friendly.

This place is simply awful!! Have ordered in past and had very bad experiences. Decided to give it another go hoping it may have improved and I was unable to collect from my usual restaurant who don’t deliver. Was told 45 minutes but waited for over 2 hours for order to be delivered. Tried calling to check order but phone line constantly giving ‘busy’ tone. Food arrived cold, watery oily and bland tasting, missing items and popadoms looked like an elephant sat on them. continued to try call them for 45 minutes to request they come & collect/exchange the order & replace missing items, to be met with abuse that meal was “perfect” when left the restaurant nearly 3 hours ago. Threw the meal in bin as totally inedible and told that they would not be replacing the order. Save you time and simply do not bother with this restaurant!.., honestly not worth the hassle

Perfect takeaway ! Food was hot & all cooked fresh with great seasoning & spice. Was ready on time for collecting, deffo treat ourselves again sometime.

This was the first time I've ordered from Arong and its just turned into mine & my partners favourite take away. He is so fussy when it comes to Indian food as he likes authentic food and he loved this. I will most definitely be ordering again. I actually can't think of one thing that was wrong. Even the tiny pot of free salad was so crispy fresh. They added their menu to the order and i can see they have their own app, which ive now downloaded, I highly recommend this takeaway.

Best Indian takeaway in Liverpool!

If you like incorrect orders, cold food, waiting up to 3 hours wait for your delivery, dealing with staff that have a bad attitude and no customer service, poor customer consideration, phone calls that just ring out or even ‘taken off the hook’, chefs that blame the drivers and drivers that blame the chefs, then this is the place for you!…, however if you don’t, then I’d advise you to avoid this place like the plague!

Ordered and paid online for my Daughters birthday meal after hour and half and 65 phone calls (they had taken phone off) still no meal went down to the shop to be told they had a driver down and where our food had been sitting in a warmer barely hot had to wait another twenty mins for Food to be recooked nearly three hours after taking monies finally get food and and a sorry oh and two pieces of cake which where frozen! For our inconvenience not that two pieces of cake make up for lost time or delays on there part no communication and awful customer service avoid at all costs! All for supporting small local businesses but constant let downs and no communication avoid at all costs!

Interesting menu with plenty of choice. You can watch the food being prepared from the waiting area. No problem making a gluten free meal on request. Hot and tasty; happy customers.

Superb food, friendly and interested service, clean establishment, COVID safe. Just wonderful. Food didn’t have a trace of grease. Generous portions. Great diversity of flavours. Bhindi bhaji - lovely crunchy okra. Not slimy at all. Also had Kofta curry, lamb chops, tarka dhal, fish pakora, prawn puri, paratha, roti and lamb sag. All excellent. Highly recommend and will be back. Want to work our way through the whole menu. 😋🥰😋

Haven’t ordered an Indian in a while and felt like one this evening. Never ordered from here before so was apprehensive. The food was beautiful, well presented and still hot when we got home from collecting it, 10 mins past collection time (plus 10 min drive home). Very responsive service, and the restaurant appeared clean with friendly staff present. We ordered the set meal for two, and lamb biryani. Plenty of food and more than we expected from looking at the actual menu description. So happy we ordered from here!

I have given up with writing in TripAdvisor but I feel I must make a comment. ARONG Indian Food. We have ordered 5 times in the past 2 months due to lock-in. Everything we have ordered has been Excellent. I have recommended this take-a-way to my friends. Each time we have ordered different meals. It arrives dead on time, the food 1st class and one last thing...... I am very fussy about my food, and critical. I Can't understand these bad reviews Just try the Place!!

Unfortunately I can’t find any good Indian Takeaways around the North End of the City of Liverpool. This one was a bit better than Al-Amin Down the road. The naan bread was a lot better but could not taste any garlic, I ordered a lamb Balti but it was quite oily and tasted a bit to bitter.

Very efficient the meal was ready to take away when I got there 20 mins after ringing them up. Very clean take away reception area with comfortable chairs to sit in if you need to wait. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had the lamb jelfreize and mushroom pila rice and my daughter had a chicken masala. Both meals were really nice. The lamb I have had from other places in the past has been a bit stringy but this lamb was spot on and a very nice flavour even through the curry sauce an not in the least fatty. The popadums were freshly made as well which in my case is a bonus. All in all a very nice meal and would definitely go back there again. Congratulations to all the staff there 😊

No or pubs open due to Covid-19 but Arong still manage to produce excellent tasty food and hot food delivery in less than an hour on a really busy evening. Really love this place, best Indian takeaway around.

Had a Takeaway Last Night and I wont have anotherFood was awfulKing Prawn Rogan Josh pathetic4 Big King Prawns however clearly not fresh were like Mush and sauce tasteless watery and tasteless. Also a Chicken Tikka Balti on the order to be fair if it was served in a wetherspoons on curry night with a pint it would be decent value not on a Saturday night from An Indian Takeaway.The main reason for my post is I actually sent an email previously about my food being poor and hopefully being a one off as I do not normally complain but have had great food previously.There was no reply to that fair enough that's companies choice.Based on recent experience I would avoid at all costs and save yourself some time don't inform them they don't respond or care about their customers. I actually had a set up account with them so such a shame but someone else will get a go now. I gave them another go as I had said in my email as maybe a busy Saturday and a one off but never again. I would be amazed if it was not jars of sauces and frozen King Prawns defrosted in warm water.

Do not order from here. Their meals have changed drastically recently. Advertised 65 mins for delivery. Took 125 mins. Meals completely different. Massive shift in service & quality. Called them 45 times to request they come & collect the order as not edible. They won't answer. They won't answer live chat. We have spent hundreds with Arong. They just delivered our last order. Never ever again.

We ordered a delivery through just eat, long story short - over an hour after the time slot I chose, and after it had not long been cancelled via just eat customer service, it finally arrived (and we turned it away as already cancelled)We ordered for 6.35pm, but when the order was accepted I noticed they had changed the time to 6.50pm, I was ok about this as these things happen and it's better than sticking to the time and turning up late, at least we knew when to expect it. At 6.55pm I rang to check when it would be due and was told it was out for delivery and we were the first drop off. I rang twice more and was told both times that it was on its way and would only be 5 minutes. It eventually arrived, after it was cancelled via just eat chat, just after 7.40pm. If we hadn't have been lied to then we could have made alternative arrangements and cancelled the order. However we were either lied to, or our order was in a car for 45 minutes (and we were apparently the first drop off).If I could leave no stars then I would, since we ended up basically snacking while hungrily waiting for our meal, and didn't end up with a proper meal. They managed to spoil what should have been a special day for us, if they had just been honest from the start then there wouldn't have been an issue.

Been going the arong on an off for years now for a takeaway curry, nice but can be a bit bland depending on what strength curry u get. , also a charge for delivery

I called up beforehand and asked if they can make anything vegan and they said 'of course, there's an app you can use and you can order there and get 10% off too' which I did. It said it would be an hour but it came in about half that time. Food was gorgeous! No issues at all and I have plenty for my lunch tomorrow Really nice guy on the phone. Overall happy and will go again. I also liked that you can just order the sauce rather than getting it with veg.

This is our favourite Indian takeaway. We have ordered many times from Arong and will continue to do so.Food always arrives piping hot, on time and no mistakes.I usually order the king prawns in a curry (korai, dhansak, balti and dhupiaza being faves) with egg fried rice. You get plenty of huge king prawns and the rice is never greasy. The butter chicken is spicier and tasty with good, large succulent chicken pieces. Lamb chops and bhaji’s are fantastic.This food tastes really good. Full of spices and freshness. Plenty of veg.

i always go and pick my food up as i can't be bothered waiting and when you do get it, its always luke warm. anyways this was my 1st time at this takeout and i was met by 2 lovely ladies at the till who gave me my order. constantly smiling and customer service was excellent. food was really nice and will be back again

It was pay day so I thought I'd treat myself as this place had come highly recommended. I downloaded and used the app. I was able to track my order and at 7pm the tracker no longer showed as order on route, by 7.15 I called the restaurant to be told it would be with me shortly. At 7.45 I called again to be told the driver was stuck somewhere. At 8pm the food arrived cold, I was so hungry I just tried to eat it but only got a few forkfuls in. The meal I ordered was advertised as "very hot" yet I tasted no spice and the food was bland. Overall, I was very underwhelmed.

Ridiculous! I like my curries fresh and not in some sauce from a jar. The meat was like rubber couldn’t chew it at all! Never again

I live a 5 minuet drive away, waited 1 hour and 20 minuets and food was cold when it arrived, manager just said I’m sorry repeatedly offered to send more food but said it will be a wait.

Collected our food we live 2 mins away got home food was cold and they forgot the bread for the chat. Tasteless and disappointing. Called to complain was told manager would call me and did not. Wont visit again!!

Arong is the best Indian take away, I cannot fault it. Every time we order from here I am not disappointed, staff have a friendly perception and the food is delicious. When we order we get something different every time, I would definitely recommend the chicken pakoras!
