Lovely food and attentive staff - well worth a visit!

Their spicy butter chicken is very delicious

Went their with high expectations after trying out so many places and had the worst biriyani and kabsa ever

We came to KO as a group of 8 with 3 of those being children. Staff were very helpful and couldn’t help enough. My daughter is celiac and the options were just as vast for her so she didn’t feel like she was missing out.

Was invited out by my Family , the Food was very Tasty and the staff was helpful, I enjoyed Meal and would visit again.

I would try a thousand times, but I will return to them. May God bless the owner of the restaurant and grant success to all those who work, especially the Arabs, who are helpful and kind despite the crowding. My favorite dish is potato karahi with basmati rice Of course, the menu includes a variety of Gulf dishes, such as Mandi, Arabic and Indian

A solid option for a quick bite to eat. The Fattoush Salad is super tasty and great value for money. The chicken wings and fries are also worth a try. Skip the breads, we tried the naan and the flatbreads and neither were good. Portion sizes are very generous and can be easily shared between two people

Excellent and top-notch food. I have no words to describe the taste of the food it was incredibly good. Their hospitality services are great. I visit at least thrice in a month and I have recommended this place for all of my friends and even to strangers.

Lovely food, generous portions. The falafel platter was lovely and tasty. The sheek kebab platter was good but could have had a bit more sheek kebab in it

We use to come regularly here but now test going bad day by day biryani tast like plain rice we just ate half or complain no one noticed or no refund my son his girlfriend visited there they also complain biryani or lamb taste so bad please consider customer complaints no we last visit there

Disappointing Experience with Lab Mandi I recently ordered Lab Mandi, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The dish lacked the expected flavors and quality, making it a disappointing culinary experience. Hoping for improvements in the future.

Unfortunately they put a lot of Cumin in their food which effect the food taste .

Food is tasty. Staff is friendly. Fast service. Assured Halal by the staff. Recommended for families and kids.

First visit here and maybe my last. The food was OK although nothing extra special. The staff were friendly and the service was pretty quick. My big problem was with the cleanliness of the seating and the floor. They were both filthy. It was also freezing in there due to the lack of management of the outer and inner entrance doors.

I tried the lentil soup as starter , it’s not the best of what I’ve tried, it was very spicy. I also had half mixed grill which has lamb chops ( it was perfect , i could come everyday to have those only )& lamb tikka which was also perfectly cooked and very tasty & chicken tikka which also was perfectly cooked ( very well seasoned and it melts in the mouth ) & beef kebab which was ( a bit overcooked, dry, it needs more fat in the mixture i believe) & chicken wings which was very well seasoned ( great flavor) it can be perfect with crusty skin. The pomegranate lime mint juice was amazing, it was very delicious. Overall it was very good, tasty , delicious experience which i enjoyed and will recommend everyone to visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at this place today. The mixed grill was flavorful, juicy, and delicious. The Chicken Mandi with yellow steamed rice was also delightful, and the chicken was perfectly juicy. The Lamb Karahi paired well with the fresh naan, and the Lime & Mint Lemonade was refreshing. The ladies serving in the front were exceptionally friendly.

Came for the first time to Liverpool and tried this restaurant. This food lives in my head rent free. The meat sizzler was so tender and juicy. The naan’s were so freshly baked and the butter chicken was spot on. From mains to desserts we were left stunned. The milk cake topped it all off .

One of the better restaurants I have been to in a long while. Service there was excellent, welcomed at the door and shown to our seats. Was quite busy place but I now know why. For starters got half mix grill l, everything on it was perfect. Got a king prawn kharai with boil rice, very nice curry. Asked for spicy and it actually did have some spice to it. And the classic mango lassi, best one I've had. Mrs was quite suprised by the price, was expecting to pay alot more than we actually did. Will need to try out their biryanis next time. Would defo recommend 👌

Genuinely delicious food! My wife and I are always critical when we go out for an Indian but this did not disappoint! We ordered poppadoms, butter chicken, chana, spinach curry, lamb biryani and garlic naan. All dishes were requested as spicy (except the chana) and they packed a punch as well as a symphony of flavour. My toddler really liked the chana and biryani too! Portions were generous and we had plenty to take home. Will go again for sure! Want to try out their all day breakfasts, too!

The three times that I’ve been there in the past month, I have loved it more and more each time. I travel to Liverpool for work and I came across KO Grill after searching for a place online. The staff are amazing!!! All so polite and professional where nothing is too much of an ask. Thanks for the amazing food and service. The next time I am in Liverpool, I’ll be back eating your delicious food!

Bought Chicken Biryani from this restaurant through Uber eats and recieved a bit of steel scrubber in the food.

This is a must try spot we found while wondering Liverpool The food was absolutely delicious And the service was amazing Prices are adorable and the portions are good so you will be taking some home Definitely recommend, specially the grill mix

The Indian food here is to die for. Whilst I wouldn’t come here for great ambiance / service, it is well priced and tasty. I’d recommend the Lamb Karahi with garlic naan.

In all honesty, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Liverpool and I recommend it to everyone!

The service is very bad. We asked for food, and before they served us the food, they gave us the calculator and payment! This is the first time this behavior has happened to us in this restaurant! There is no morals or etiquette on the part of the Syrian or Shami young man and the Indian girl because the Syrian young man was annoyed with my mother when she commented on providing the payment machine before serving the food, so he informed the Indian girl, and suddenly her morals were reversed, but she was good in the beginning Please SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR THE BLACK ARAB PEOPLE 😑

Food was amazing tbh ,but I didn't like the service , not happy faces there, waitresses most of them no smile at all ,okay they don't have to smile but at least when you serve the dish put the plate in nice way and on the front of the diner not in the corners of the tables!!!! . Thanks to the chefs, your food is super tasty, but I think the owner needs to have a look at his front of the house staff

the food was delicious 😋 we ordered a mix of kabab and lentil soup. All the food was good, but the soup was spicy, and we paid £1:50 for a small bread. However, all good.

It is nothing to do with Indian food! It’s not fresh, the rice is soggy there is no flavour and it oily beyond belief. Terrible experience.

So yesterday I ordered their lamb kabsah, both rice and lamb were too hard to chew, sauce were spoilt, and no apology at all.

A beautiful find. Located in the heart of Liverpool. My experience here has been judged by a consistent high level quality food. 3 times we have dined here and would highly recommend to anyone that loves a good curry. Food: the food is top notch and very authentic. When arrived the first time, my intial thoughts were that you don't get much but quality definitely beats quantity! It rather filling due to the nice portion of meat that comes within the dishes. Service: The service has been very friendly on all 3 occassions and as you would expect in any well ran restaraunt. Absolutely no problems here. Atmosphere: a great little atmosphere with very spacous seating to really feel comftable. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes a good curry.

The best butter chicken in Liverpool and Our service was very perfect

The ambience is alright, the service is prompt however their Indian food isn’t truly Indian. I didn’t try the Middle Eastern. Also they were quite quick to serve which tells me they don’t cook hot, which is how Indian food is supposed to and is served in most of the UK. Didn’t taste authentic at all.

Overall a nice place and good food but the starter portion was a bit disappointing (£3 for just two small spring rolls normally it's 3-4 small ones at least). Our main dish was chicken Mandi and lamb chops which comes in half a piece of flat bread and so we had to order butter naan separately. Lamb chops were well seasoned and yummy and chicken Mandi was alright. As for drinks we got mango lassi (it was good) and sweet lassi (just alright could be better).

We ordered maklouba and mixed grill and all what I can say that it was amazing 👏 the food was delicious we couldn't stop eating, the vibes of the restaurant are so nice, I would advise anyone to sit outside and enjoy, as well the drinks with limes were so so delicious special blueberry and lime, would advise it, offers Halal food for sure

They provide a best vegetable biryani ever i had in my life. All abroad students who are missing spicy food in liverpool i am suggesting you guys to try this place. Value for money♥️

Didn't know where to go just looked at menu's as we walked down Bold Street. Soooooo happy we stopped here, the food was amazing, (I took half home with me and I've just devoured it!). The food was super tasty. We ate the Lamb Breyani, Halloumi Pakora and Cheese samosas. Space was a little tight but was a good atmosphere and the service was great.

Had chicken karai and lamb karai both with basmati rice and peshwari nan bread. Absolutely amazing, tasty, hot.

I have been to that place 3 times already. 2 times I was satisfied and for the third time it was pretty bad. We were not served for a long time and people who were in the queue after us were served first. The food was not as good as the previous times, I had plenty of meat pieces with the fat in it what did not happen before. The naan breads arrived all on one plate and we have ordered different types and had to guess. I could not locate my naan so the waitress tried to guess which is which too and that took all of them and replaced as mine was missing. Even we had food served we had to ask for the plates after.

I ordered for a takeout chicken mandi as i dont eat lamb, unfortunately i got lamb mandi, this is really disappointing to get a differrent order, wish i would get a refund or replacement

Having tried middle eastern food from other places, I found the food from Ko grill to be very bland and not up to the mark. Chicken mandi: chicken was good but the mandi rice was not at all authentic, tasted like rice cooked with some turmeric powder. The chicken kabsa was also a disappointment. The customer service was really a turn off, the staffs are not at all attentive. They just walk around and not even make an eye contact with the table they are serving to.

The food was amazing but there was absolutely nobody there it was very quiet and not so welcoming however the overall experience was great

Amazing food and friendly staff. We got the peri chicken, the prawn briyani and the prawn karahi. The flavors were incredible. The best indian food i’ve had, no doubt!

Ordered 2 Shawarma platters(Came as wraps)which were a bit dry and disappointing quantity wise and taste wise as compared to Bakchich Lebaneses Restarant on the same street. We requested for Sauce which did not turn up even though we requested 2 separate staff for the same which was again disappointing service wise.

This is one of my fav restaurant in liverpool but the experience yesterday was very bad with the staff particularly the boy with the hair tied up, he has such a bad attitude and dont know how to treat the customers and he was literally throwing the takeouts as if its his money who is paying for it. Will never visit again

They have range of nice curries. I love their butter chicken and garlic naan dish and highly recommended. Service of the staff is really good. Very clean environment. But their juices doesn't taste like fresh and for the biriyani can give 6/10. Overall, great food.

I had wonderful experience in Ko grill. The staff was good and kind, especially the curly hair girl who served us food she was warm and welcoming with her beautiful smile ..I just want to say I enjoyed and would like to come again in the future...

One of the worst experiences I’ve had in liverpool, the customer service is below average and the staff is not attentive one of the staff was rude as well and do not pay attention to the customers. We ordered chicken bhuna they served us with normal curry sauce when we asked about it they just added chicken to the same curry and gave it to us. Very unpleasant to see such bad discipline in a well known restaurant. If I had an option to rate them lower than this I sure would do.

Fair prices and good food quality. Few notes can be helpful 1- Although food prices are fair (such as Shawarma Wrap for £4), drinks are extremely expensive! Coke for £3! Whilst it should be £1-£1.5 max. 2- food was a little bit cold, might be just unlucky, taste was good. 3- Food serving style can be improved to give a better impression (better dishes design etc can be used) Recommended 👍🏻

I genuinely did not expect to have authentic and flavorful Indian dish in Liverpool. Glad to be proved wrong! We ordered Lamb samosas, chicken butter masala, lamb kadhai, raita, chicken biryani and lamb biryani. They were all amazing. Perfect level of spiciness and prefect blend of masalas. It's like a festival in the mouth. Thank you Ko's Grill for making me a little less homesick.

This place would get 5 stars from me, the food was fantastic, large helpings of delicious, well cooked food. The staff are wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. No fifth star though as my drink came with a single use plastic straw. Kind of unacceptable in this day and age.
