Sadly not worth driving to collect. The sauce was very watery and oily. Separated on the journey home. The sauce to meat ratio was very off. More like a soup. Very bland. And very disappointed. Didn't finish the Naan or the bhajis. Would not recommend despite going off other reviews when ordering. 1 star for the order being ready to collect early and 1 star because it was edible. Sorry!

Ordered at 7:30pm and collection time was 8pm. Got there at 7:53pm and it was all ready to go👍🏼 Food was hot, full of flavour and adequate portions!! Will definitely be ordering again😍

Have been coming here since I was a child 20 years ago it’s still the best Indian I’ve ever had. The chips have never changed either and the tarka dahl is so rich and garlicky.

Really disappointed with this. Butter chicken was especially spicy to the point it should be classed as a vindaloo. Saag Aloo was alright but a little bland. Madras was alright as well.

All the people who 1 starred this actually don't have taste buds . The food was amazing! I had the lamb aasam from chefs recommendation and it was so good. Everything was delicious, at the perfect temperature and the people there are so lovely. A true "home cooked from your granparents place" kind of feel. Definitely going to order more often and become a regular.

Korma was spicy.korma is not Spicy .chips were like rubber , been warmed up in microwave.and rice was burnt .

The quality of the food was really good but the butter chicken was far too hot and spicy which ruined the meal really. Butter chicken is usually a safe mild option and was just too hot.

Food was awful…. Tikka masala was like tomato soup, jalfrezi was more like a vindaloo and the butter chicken was so hot my lips are still burning 2 hours later (who knew butter chicken was spicy!!) to top it off the sauce in all three meals was runny… I have used this takeaway for years and will never ever order from there again 👎🏼

Food was cold even though I collected it exactly when they said it would be ready. Thought the Jalfrezi was bland and hardly any heat from the sauce. Wont be buying from here again

Nice starter, but in both the bhuna and rogan josh mains the sauce had no thickness at all as was very watery with minimal flavour and no signs of even a medium heat

First time ordering , and I'll deffo be ordering again. Nicest Indian takeaway I've had in a long time. Tender juicy meat. If I had to find a fault the chips weren't the best. But I've never found an Indian takeaway that do good chips. 10/10

Ordered from here after reading all the good reviews. The food was ok for the price. Ordered the tandoori roti which was undercooked and like dough. I pre ordered the food for 6.15, I only live few mins away and food was cold by the time I got in. Makes me think it was just left out for a while. Onion bhajis were nice, and chicken biryani was ok.

Can't beat it , I often go there to collect meals on my way home after a long shift in work , never had a bad meal from here and I've tried several other local tandooris over years , the tandoori by the area ken Dodds known for is also very good

Wasn't overly impressed to be honest. Partner said his food was bland and watery he ended up leaving his and sharing my sons with him which he said was okay, my passandra also wasn't the best, son enjoyed his korma though. Personally probably wouldn't use again.

Worst curry I've ever had, only giving one star because there isn't an angry face option. I ordered chicken dhansak but received a container full of sauce with 4 small pieces of chicken in it. My friends who live nearby said this was a good curry house a while back, but I wouldn't advise anyone to order food from here at all now.

Poor, over spiced to cover poor quality meat, cooked to quickly so you a coating of spice and then plain meat on the interior, got the order wrong, didn't provide the poppadoms that I paid for, just not good, avoid.

The worst Indian I've ever been to! Ordered a Masala with rice, when I got home opened it and was disgusted to find out it was basically just a tub of sauce, 4 very tiny pieces of meat which would all fit on one spoon. Also not very warm and really dry. The worst Indian I've ever been to.

Absolutely incredible. I travelled from Kirkby because orrell tandoori was always the best - it still is and it was well worth the journey. I literally can’t pick one fault with the meals - even the mint sauce for the bhajis is gorgeous. No heavy grease in the curries, peshwari naan was fab - we enjoyed every single bit. The two men working there were lovely - thank you we will never go anywhere else again!

Eaten from here a good few times and always loved it unfortunately on this order tucked into onion barjy when my filling started tingling and I could feel something not right turned out to be what I can only describe as fuse wire. Asked Just Eat to contact restaurant to see what they said. Couldnt believe it when the offered £2.40 refund no apologies so afraid I wont be eating from here again.

Told to pick up at a time. Arrived 5 mins early. Food cold and had to be microwaved

I have been coming here for years but my last order was very disappointing, both curry's was so bland and extremely watery, it literally tasted like it had been watered down, even the mango chutney was the same. I am gutted as this used to be the best Indian I had tried. Apparently the woman who I saw all the time has left and even a relative found there last order was the same. What a shame

This was the best curry we have had in ages. The garlic chicken and garlic king prawn were absolutely delicious, SO tasty! We'll definitely be ordering the same again next time.

Great quality and ready on tome. My only small criticism is the food could have been warmer/hotter.

Bland, greasy food which was cold despite collecting it on time. No cheese in the cheese naan which was under-cooked. Chips were soft and cold. Butter chicken had no taste except heat. Samosas and bhajis really greasy with no flavour.

Watery and onion bhaji were very greasy. Garlic naan was nice and so was the rice.
