There was very little actual veg in our curries - mostly sauce. I always seem to have to pay extra to get any solid veg. Tasty. A bit cold.

Our ‘go to’ curry house. Never had a bad meal here. Staff are friendly and the service is always attentive. We try to have a different dish each time and are never disappointed. I would warn that even mild dishes have a bit of heat, but nothing we can’t deal with.

Lovely food only complaint the popadoms were stale would like them fresh not rubbery but highly recommend will be using again very soon

Great food tonight. My partner had the samosa and said they were the best he’s ever had. Curry was spot on 😃 All was very nice. Mo was attentive and made us feel very welcome. Going to be my new favourite place go 😊😊😊

Mains portion sizes smaller than some of the other curry houses' sides, chicken curry sauce too spicy to eat, never again am afraid!

I ordered a takeaway, the first time I’ve used the Ganges, service, good, the food I’m afraid was very poor watery, curry, unappetising, and I won’t be going again

First time ordered here and I can safely say it’s the worst Indian we have ever eaten. Both dishes were tasteless, watery and even looked unappetising.

Wonderful food. First time trying something different and was worth the risk.

The food was very late and when arrived every single meal was stone cold. The chips were so cold they had gone hard. Even the microwave couldn't save it and it all ended up in the bin. Multiple attempts to call the takeaway but phone just rang and rang.

Had an excellent meal on Saturday night. The food was delicious. Jalfrezi is the hottest we’ve had! But excellent. Service was also very good will definitely be back.

Fantastic food, it’s been a few years since I had a sit down meal in the Ganges but still as good as j remembered it. Food was really really tasty, hot and delivered exactly at the time estimated

Delivery time was great, food was awful. Both curries were extremely watery and stone cold. Chicken Korma and Chicken Tikka Masala was swimming in water

chicken pakora was swimming in grease.threw it away.very small portion of rice,soggy nan bread......YUK

Food was cold obviously not in a heated bag..madras was like a vindaloo …lamb was that tough I couldn’t chew it…massive tray of rice and half a tub of cold curry …wouldn’t recommend wouldn’t use again

25 minutes later than collection time stated. Also forgot the poppadoms and chutneys. They need to sort out whoever is checking the orders are complete, this is the 5th time in 6 orders something has been missing.

Rang restaurant and deliveries start at 6. 6.30 is earliest delivery

The food was absolutely delicious and we had the biryani delivered to us within 15 min. After we discovered it was missing! Thank you very much for an amazing dinner

Wow that was beautiful! First time ordering from here since moving to Middlewich and that was the best I’ve had easily locally, may have earned yourself a new regular thank you.

Missed off the poppadoms, second order in a row they have missed something off the order. Last time it was the naans. Come on guys how hard is it, the guy who check the orders needs to do a better job.

Not as good as it used to be, watery Korma, stale poppadom and not very tasty curries.

Food was great, really tasty! Just not very hot when it arrived! But this could just be due to the distance! Still really enjoyed the meal despite this.

Poor quality food made with very cheap ingredients. The poppadoms didn't come with any dips, most of the dishes were cold (even though the food arrived early), and overall it was very disappointing. I'm afraid I won't be ordering from here again.

I have had food from here before and it is usually great but this time it wasnt the keema in my curry and rice was overdone and chewy and the flavour was very basic compared to previous orders

Food was cold on delivery and popadoms were stale. Really disappointed as the curries actually tasted nice but who wants to reheat a curry / rice & naan. Poppadoms went in the bin. We were so looking forward to trying the food here too.

Really disappointed in our meal. Spent £62 and our food wasn’t hot, chips were barely cooked, papadums were stale, fried rice was swimming in grease, ‘chicken tikka’ in currys was not chicken tikka, just normal chicken, curry’s were tasteless. Will not return here.

Food was delivered in the time frame I was given which was an hour to an hour and a half after I ordered. The food was cold by the time it had been delivered, chips where not not cooked. After I reheated everything, the food its self was very nice. Its only my second time ordering from here, the first time I ordered the delivery came early and the food was still hot.

Delivery was quick and friendly. Curry wasn’t great sadly - tasteless & watery. I’ve eaten from here before and it was good. Guess it was just a bad day but disappointed

The service is amazing. The staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and really personable. Always happy to help. The food is out of this world. Honestly, I haven’t been to a better Indian restaurant as good anywhere. The flavours are incredible and the staff will alter the Level of spice and heat to your liking. The gunpowder chicken is incredible. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The atmosphere is welcoming and they are just a great bunch of people. The chefs really are top drawer.

Food was tasty but some of the sauces were thin. Also - when I pay for extra specific veg ie potato it never seems to have ‘extra’ - it’s the amount you would expect ordinarily.

The food was beautiful! Full of flavour ! The delivery man was also so pleasant and full of smiles which is always nice when receiving your food .

Staff are helpful and really courteous. Extensive menu, food was very good and reasonably priced. The Madras is particularly hot! Mushroom rice is delicious.

Spring rolls were undercooked. Korma and masala were both very watery and bland in taste. Food wasn’t hot.

We’ve been before and the service is consistently good. The food is probably the best Indian in Sandbach. The chutneys with the poppadoms are great - the usual onions and mango chutney but also a thick and addictive raita and a red spicy chutney which is the secret recipe of one of their team. My husband ordered a spicy king prawn dish which gave him a very red face, hiccups and a big smile! I had the mixed Ganges biryani which was huge, had plenty of lamb, chicken and prawns. The accompanying sauce wasn’t like the usual rather wishy washy dish with frozen veg; but a spicy red curry which packed a kick. Heated up the remainder the next day and the kick was even harder!! Would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic meal, Paneer Nann was absolutely full of cheese and gave fantastic cheese pull, the Balti chips while a little expensive but are absolutely worth the money, incredible flavor and full of chicken. The delivery person was jolly and really made the meal for us. Easy 10/10 everything prefect.

I am delighted with tonight’s order. For the first time in years I’ve had a madras that is genuinely fiery. Well done! I only wish they had a hotter option, but everything tasted great and on point.

I ordered 2 meals and my chicken korma was awful, it had no taste and was very watery. Such a shame as it used to be nice.

Ordered a takeaway with mates, 2/3 meals were very watery, bhuna was tasteless (literally like eating hot water with rice) paid extra for chicken tikka and it was normal chicken (only about 5 pieces of chicken in the whole dish) madras was also incredibly watery and tasteless besides from being the spicier than a vindaloo by a long way, first time trying Ganges and it’s also the last time.

Food arrived 30 mims early so we weren't ready for it. Curry's where very watery and pretty bland. Chips where OK, but chips are pretty hard to get wrong. Naan bread was nice enough but very small. All in all probably won't be ordering again

Very easy to order for a specific time of delivery. Food was slightly late but only 20 minutes which wasn't too bad on a Saturday night. The meals were cold but nothing a Microwave cant sort out. Shaslick chicken was ok but a lot of onion. Chicken Jalfrezi, again a lot of onion but also very bland, it had 2 whole green chillies in it but didn't taste like anything cooked into the sauce. Very mild. Bombay aloo was four small chunks of potato in a very thin sauce, no herbs or spices. Very mild and tasteless. I have never seen Bombay aloo look or taste like this before. Overall, very disappointing, we have had meals from here before which have been lovely. Maybe the chef was having an off night.

All curries were a bit watery.

The most incredible samosa youll ever have, absolutely sublime. The food here is fantastic and the chef knows his flavours.

Food swimming in oil, not usually like this so not sure what happened but the oil made it quite disgusting.

First time we’ve tried this takeaway and found the portions particularly small (especially in comparison to the usual restaurants we order from). Some items were also not very warm at all. The food itself tasted okay.

Food is OK, not the best Indian I've had, but also not the worst. I wouldn't order the keema naan or chicken pathia again. Other dishes looked better that rest of the family ordered. Maybe I was just unlucky

Ordered 2 curries with chicken tikka but the chicken was like chicken slices from a supermarket and definitely not chicken tikka. Not good.

Ordered for 19:30, gave 1hour for making and delivering, food finally delivered at 20:08, the food was like warm at best.

The food was cold by the time it reached us

Used to be great, but this was ordinary at best. Cheap prawns, dry chicken in a sauce that was slop on korma, tikka masala and passanda. Hugely disappointed, so next time I will pay the extra and order from k2h or Passage to India.
