Delivered to the wrong house and there are only 4 in the steet, food was bland even for a corma overpriced. Even with discount.

Very efficient service. And the food was really good.

Food is really nice but was not super hot. Perhaps the restaurant could invest in thermal/insulated food carriers? However the curry was delicious and they put in extra sauces and a salad for free which was kind.

I pre-ordered for a later time, and to be fair, it was bang on time, but the food quality was a let down. Everything was cold, and had to be reheated. The curry had no flavour, and had small hard bits, almost like gristle despite being chicken...

delivery arrived 15 minutes late which is fine but everything is cold. the rice, the curry, nan and the chips it's all had to be heated up not happy

Ordered from here a lot, have the owners / chef changed? App said 30-40 mins for delivery, after I’d ordered changed to about an hour, then was 30 minutes after the latest delivery. Rang the restaurant to be told on its way, no more than 5 mins, 15 mins later still hadn’t arrived. Onion bhaji was soft, not much meat in the chicken tikka massalla, overall not a great experience.

The food was cold and dry by the time it arrived. Most of it went in the bin. Really disappointing, as the quality of the food when eating in at this restaurant is always really good.

Food was lovely as always. But we paid over £50.00 which was expensive for what we had . The amount we paid they could have given us some free popadoms and chutney .( always get free prawn crackers from the Chinese)

Food was excellent, very nice thick slices of chicken in a tasty fresh sauce with individual flavours. Rice was cold but overall one of the best takeaways I've had recently. Please offer order tracking because early delivery is not always convenient.

This is the best Indian in Sandbach by far. I order the same takeout when I fancy and always freshly cooked, lovely staff who know my order. The chicken is good quality. Having tried many others in Sandbach this is by far the best. It’s always handy to be recommending a good Indian and this is 100% one!

We don’t normally leave reviews, however this was the nicest takeaway we have had in a long time. We live about 15 minutes from sandbach but the food still arrived piping hot, we will definitely be ordering from here every time we want an indian!

Had a chicken madras from here last week and it was lovely. Ordered the same thing tonight but what came was very different. Chicken was old, hard and rubbery. The sauce was thinner, and something in there tasted off. Shame I thought I was on to a winner with this place.

Food arrived quickly, but the actual food was barely hot. I ordered a chicken tikka masala, it was dreadful! Won’t be ordering ever again!!

Quality was poor, somosa tasted like it was fried for 30 seconds, butter chicken was nice but everything seemed rushed and for £40 it wasnt worth it, also forgot all my drinks with it

The delivery took 1hour 30 mins to arrive and when it did one of the curries was missing so I had to phone the Ganges to complain. The Ganges customer service was terrible and they have lost a customer due to this poor service. Any compensation?

Food is always fresh, hot and so tasty. Wouldn’t eat anywhere else. The food hygiene rating is 5 which is important to us.

Smallest portion of chips going. A quarter of a bag full, for the price its not worth it! Used to order from here a lot but wont be going forward. Curry was also watery.

There was very little actual veg in our curries - mostly sauce. I always seem to have to pay extra to get any solid veg. Tasty. A bit cold.

Our ‘go to’ curry house. Never had a bad meal here. Staff are friendly and the service is always attentive. We try to have a different dish each time and are never disappointed. I would warn that even mild dishes have a bit of heat, but nothing we can’t deal with.

Great food tonight. My partner had the samosa and said they were the best he’s ever had. Curry was spot on 😃 All was very nice. Mo was attentive and made us feel very welcome. Going to be my new favourite place go 😊😊😊

Mains portion sizes smaller than some of the other curry houses' sides, chicken curry sauce too spicy to eat, never again am afraid!

I ordered a takeaway, the first time I’ve used the Ganges, service, good, the food I’m afraid was very poor watery, curry, unappetising, and I won’t be going again

First time ordered here and I can safely say it’s the worst Indian we have ever eaten. Both dishes were tasteless, watery and even looked unappetising.

Wonderful food. First time trying something different and was worth the risk.

The food was very late and when arrived every single meal was stone cold. The chips were so cold they had gone hard. Even the microwave couldn't save it and it all ended up in the bin. Multiple attempts to call the takeaway but phone just rang and rang.

Had an excellent meal on Saturday night. The food was delicious. Jalfrezi is the hottest we’ve had! But excellent. Service was also very good will definitely be back.

Food was cold obviously not in a heated bag..madras was like a vindaloo …lamb was that tough I couldn’t chew it…massive tray of rice and half a tub of cold curry …wouldn’t recommend wouldn’t use again

Missed off the poppadoms, second order in a row they have missed something off the order. Last time it was the naans. Come on guys how hard is it, the guy who check the orders needs to do a better job.

Not as good as it used to be, watery Korma, stale poppadom and not very tasty curries.

Food was great, really tasty! Just not very hot when it arrived! But this could just be due to the distance! Still really enjoyed the meal despite this.

I have had food from here before and it is usually great but this time it wasnt the keema in my curry and rice was overdone and chewy and the flavour was very basic compared to previous orders

Poor quality food made with very cheap ingredients. The poppadoms didn't come with any dips, most of the dishes were cold (even though the food arrived early), and overall it was very disappointing. I'm afraid I won't be ordering from here again.

Really disappointed in our meal. Spent £62 and our food wasn’t hot, chips were barely cooked, papadums were stale, fried rice was swimming in grease, ‘chicken tikka’ in currys was not chicken tikka, just normal chicken, curry’s were tasteless. Will not return here.
