We’ve always had afternoon lunch and ordered from masala dabbas, however today we thought we should go for dinner today as the kids wanted to eat there. The reception we got by the owner when compared to the locals here was exactly the opposite… cold greeting to us whereas it was all smiles to the locals by the owner. This behaviour is unacceptable. I didn’t want to create a scene and asked my kids to walk out. Please bear in mind that you need to treat all with respect else you’ll end up losing good customers like us. No more the restaurant we’ll ever go to unfortunately. Checking your response to my review - unfortunately there were no pleasantries- just a straight face which is always the case - however why I was taken aback was when two other families came in and you were good at greeting them. This time I had to walk out.

Food great, however, mine was cold and the service I received when I collected my takeaway was very poor. I arrived exactly on time and, despite there being no one else waiting, I stood for quite a while before anyone came over to speak to me. No problem here, they are a restaurant after all. However, the guy immediately came back with my meal - which I suspect had been packed and ready all of the time I was waiting. The food was cold. The web menu is also incorrect. If you want a chicken Tikka main, then do not order a chicken Tikka main (even though the web order menu has this option). I did this and got a chicken Tikka Dhansak (which is chicken Tikka in curry sauce). I showed the guy what I ordered, but he made me pay £11.25 for the extra chicken tikka main (that I had initially ordered). The only good thing was that they had one ready, so no extra delay incurred for my already cold meal. It was my intention to switch our weekly takeaway for my family of five to Radhuny as we often end up ordering Chinese and Indian - I may try them once more but phone through the order and make sure they understand what I want. Good food ruined by poor/slow service leading to cold food.

Excellent South Indian cuisine in Stoke. You don’t come here for the ambience or decor, but the grub is good. There is a broad selection of classic starters including poppadoms, samosas and bhajis for those who don’t wish to stray from a British Indian menu. However, for those that want a South Indian experience, there are plenty of delicacies and street food on offer. They serve: dosas, sambal, manchurian, kothu parathas, chicken 65 (delightful) and more… The South Indian mains I recommend are the Kerala Chicken Curry and Malabar Fish Curry. Overall, a wonderful evening trying a wide choice of curries. Will be back to try the extensive biryani list and more chicken 65.

After two delays when it finally got here the whole meal was cold. I imagine it’s been sat in car whilst others were being delivered. It wasn’t in an insulated bag. Service from the restaurant when I rang said no one else has complained. What a poor attitude. We have been a regular customer - usually eat in - but TI will
