My Brother and I have tried all the restaurants in Brick Lane and this one is our favourite - the sign outside says "Best in Brick Lane" they all say something similar but this one is true. Great food great service - great chips and when we said we loved the chocolates at the end of the meal they gave us a handful more - I would go back every day

It was an Amazing Experience in this restaurant, The food was Fabulous we ordered Peshwari naan (Coconut inside) and butter chicken, and Choti poti for starters, and got an amazing service from Nazrul, Cool guy and was friendly and smiling haha :)

If you go to Brick Lane, go to Monsoon. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was fun. Their take on the traditional Indian pickles was refreshing. We could have made a meal of that, it was so good. The butter chicken was as it should be: rich and with a perfect amount of heat. Chicken Tikka Masala was perfect, a great take on Britain's unofficial dish. The mixed grill was the best because you got a taste of several different dishes. All were wonderful, especially the tandoori chicken, which was moist and delicious, not dried out like it is at inferior Indian restaurants. By all means, if you make the journey to Brick Lane, try Monsoon.

Great experience. First time in London and 1st time trying Indian takeaway. They did not disappoint. I had the spicy lamb and it was cooked to perfection. The food was great, the very nice Resturant atmosphere and met a great set of inviting people including the owner.

Had the nicest nobo borsho experience at this place with the thaali. Would recommend visiting the other restaurants - Taste of Jaipur, both great places with good ambience and food.

A lovely little gem in Brick Lane. The staff are so friendly and polite, they make you feel welcome and cared about. The food is fab and the daal bindhi is my favourite!! always love going here and should have left a review sooner! you will not be disappointed. Managed to park right outside.

Again, Mr Shamms and his team provided an excellent meal and service. The Royal Lamb is a regular dish of mine and, again, was superb. I've been eating here since 2004. Highly recommended!

One of the best restaurants in London! We got there an hour before closing and got the tandoori lamb, garlic rice, garlic naan, and a few other dishes that were amazing! We were well taken care of by the restaurant staff and definitely will be returning the next time we come to visit London :)

Dinner was really really good. They were super fast, the quality was top notch, and coming from someone who is not a fan of Indian food counts even more. We came with a big group of 20 people and were treated magnificently, we were even able to bring our own alcohol. Abbas was especially friendly and diligent, crazy good service. Chicken korma was full of oil and tasteless. Rice was cooked nice but i didnt like the chunks of garlic added.

The restaurant is a recommendation if you want to eat Indian food in London for a good price. The restaurant is a bit hidden on a busy street and quite narrow. We were there at 1:00 p.m. on a Monday and got a table without any problems. The waiter was nice and tried hard, but due to the language barrier there wasn't much warmth. The food was completely convincing! Really tasty and yet a little different to the Indian food we knew from Germany. You should always make sure to order a side dish with your main course, because the main courses come without rice or salad. But you also have a good selection here.

Delicious curry and incredible customer service. We negotiated with their worker outside and got a deal of starter, main, rice/bread and beer for 15 pounds per person. I've had better starters elsewhere. But the main and rice/bread were worth it. Along with the extra large glass of beer. Waiting staff were super friendly and always available to help.

Brick Lane has changed a lot in recent years and there are only half as many South Asian restaurants as there were when I worked in the area in 2006. Nevertheless, the Monsoon does a fine job of keeping-up the street's tradition of providing excellent and affordable Bangladeshi cuisine. I was served a tasty starter, filling vegetarian main course, beer, brandy with friendly service for £18 all-in. I certainly felt very welcome and would happily go back the next time I find myself in the area.

The best King Prawn Danshak anywhere. Definitely my favourite Indian restaurant in London. The food is simply fantastic. Will definitely eat here again soon.
