Masala in Tower Hamlets

Essen leider eher durchschnittlich. Für uns ungewöhnlich, aber anscheinend in London normal: Reis kostet extra und ist nicht in einem Hauptgericht enthalten. Leider war es gestern so, dass sich im oberen Bereich einen große Gruppe gröhlender Jugendliche eingemietet hatte. Die Atmosphäre war eher wie in einem Stadion, statt einem Restaurant. Das Gegensteuern des Restaurants war den Fernseher mit Musikvideos einfach noch lauter zu drehen. Das hatte nichts mehr mit einem Essen in einem Restaurant zu tun, leider. Enttäuschend. Geschmacklich war das Knoblauch Naan wirklich top. Mein Curry mit Mango und Kokosnuss war sehr süß aber ich mochte es. Speisen waren leider nicht sehr heiß.

Buono il cibo, servizio abbastanza rapido. Conto interessante, peccato per la musica ad un volume allucinante, tanto da rendere molto difficile anche la comunicazione tra commensali.

We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened and the food took some time, which is why Ace (our friendly waiter) brought us some delicious snacks as an appetizer for free. Can recommend.

The first time I visited an Indian restaurant (somewhere in East Ham), I had a bad experience. Despite specifically asking the waitress for a mild dish, the food served was still far too spicy. I attended a couple of weddings and other ceremonies and could never enjoy the food because it was too spicy. Since then, I have avoided Indian cuisine as I do not handle spicy food well. After more than five years, I finally decided to give it another try when my wife’s friend cancelled their plans. I am so glad I did because, at Masala, I was able to enjoy a delicious, flavourful meal and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Ace, who gave us great recommendations and helped us choose the perfect dishes. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

King prawn on purée was balancely spice very tasty. Chicken tikka jalfrezi with a hint of naga perfectly spice whole group enjoyed it spice, taste , texture thumps up. Bombay Blast one of the chef recommendation dish after having this dish gave me proper blast if you are looking for hot flavour I mean full of chilli flavour this is the dish thick sauce Bhuna style very hot with 4 type of chilli Mexican, African & 2 Type of Asian chilli naga & green chillies. Bombay Blast one best flavour chilli hot dish it’s a upgrade from vindaloo definitely recommend people give a try.

We’ve been going here now for a few years, the food is to our liking and we’ve never had a bad meal or any reason to get upset…..to be honest we’ve never had a bad meal from any restaurants we’ve been in. They have there own twists on food and will make any of your favourites but what makes Masala stand out is the price they say is the price you pay and it’s great value too…there is no surprises even if there is some substitutions. Staff are great, place is clean and food is hot. Manger Abdul and the greeter (sorry I forgot your name ) are really kind to those how deserve it. Will see you soon.

Dima looked after us very well - friendly and let us know about the very well-priced offer menu. Delicious paneer, aubergine lentils, rice and naans. Baileys digestif a nice touch :)

I ordered an egg fried rice today. The sevice is very bad and rude. I ordered dine in they told to leave the place only orsering high cost foods can eat they told. They havent provided a spoon insted he gave me an oil measure spoon. Worst customer service i found so far in london. I told spice insted they fried rice is sweeter. Please dont visit this place 🙏.

This is one of my best restaurant to eat in spot on a takeaway or takeout always the best. I just saw one review. You never get a spoon specially a silver spoon on a takeout. You should get a plastic spoon that’s fake. A And the bag tells me it’s not our restaurant bag as a customer to this restaurant
