¡Muchas gracias! ! !

I was in London for work and popped in here for lunch, I loved it - if I lived near here I would be 30 stone by now.. Overall a superb 'cafe' with an adequate selection and very tasty food.

the food is OK. But Kudos to their service and honesty. We forgot our bag there. We went after one week to see if it was still there and behold the staff had kept it safely for us. Great honesty and commitment. Thanks guys.

Got carry out tonight. Wouldn't recommend. Curry not good. Korma okay. Nan like cardboard. Food isn't cooked fresh. It's sitting out and just heated up.

This is a hard one for me to review as it's the only place I would eat in when compared to the other restaurants in Brick Lane: Been coming here for years for a late night kabab. If there is a family occasion we might order 30-50 kababs, chicken pieces and samosa to takeaway but we always ask for a fresh batch to be made and not to be served the ones sitting around for who knows how long.On a few occasion I have gone in to eat a meal, the food tasted good; the guys are really friendly, the service is fast as the food is pre-prepared and simply reheated in microwaves and as the place is a cheap eat it's always full of diners. The downfall for me and it's a big issue is in regards to the hygiene. the place is small, with cramped seating and it looks tired and dirty and if you're unfortunate enough as I have been in the past is to get seated too close to the toilets, it really puts you off your food.On my last visit, the waiter brought over our food and there was no sauces on our table. We caught the waiters attention and asked for some sauces. He took half eaten sauces from another table and put them down onto our table, We looked at him horrified, asking why we're getting half eaten sauces. The waiter took the sauces round the back, filled them up and reserved them.I was so ashamed that I had brought friends here and couldn't apologise to them enough.Guys, I have nothing against you personally, we've known each other by sight for many years, we sometimes wave to each other as I walk past but I am not coming in to eat unless I hear improvements have been made not just in hygiene but also skimping on important things like shared food, you never know what people have done to the food before they left, It will only cost you pennies but would improve your business and reputation tremendously.

I am writing this review. Only for Wednesdays lamb pilau special. It's. not your usual lamb curry and rice chucked In a pan and stirred. It's authentic layered biryani. Very nice must try. Regards Anas Jamula London.

The menu is limited. The Korai's are very good, the Pickled Chicken is decent. I'd omit the pakoras next time. Not a cheeky price and the staff do a good job...which is why I keep going back.

As it says we enjoyed the tikka. The lamb curry was good too. I recommend you get the large chicken tikka on the sizzling platter. Also, the garlic naan was some of the best I ever had. Really fresh and good.

This place looks like what it is, a basic grill and curry restaurant. What's surprising is how good the food is, and just how cheap it is. The pulao, served every Wednesday, was the standout for me. There's lots of locals, the staff seem to know plenty of regulars by name. Service is quick and friendly, so it feels welcoming, despite the sparse formica tables and hard chairs. Just be warned, there's no alcohol served.

Dont be put off by how the place looks from the outside, as this is probably one of the best places to eat on Brick Lane. Always busy with locals and office workers alike, this is a place that usually missed by the tourists who tend to use Brick Lane these days. The menu is basic and to the point, and the place offers a handful of currys and a variety of grill dishes at reasonable prices. However, it did out me off when I asked for some mint sauce and the after just brought over half over dishes directly from another table.Might not be the best place for an evening out, but great for a quick curry or snack.

I saw that Khushbu grill house made it on as a weeathalal.co.uk partner so I decided to pay them a visit as I do with many of the other places that make into these offers. I didn't expect to be charmed here as the location didn't stand out much. However! The food is absolutely amazing, you can taste the traditional effort that goes into creating the food. It was like good old homemade rich food. The kebab rolls here are brilliant and their wednesday special is really something.Highly recommend this location. Give it a try.

The wife and I were staying at the nearby Ibis hotel. We were late to go out and intended to go elsewhere but it was closed (about 9 pm).We carried on walking and stumbled across this place. To be honest its a Kebab shop with tables inside so not ideal for a first date. If your looking for more of a restaurant style surroundings then look elsewhereI ordered chicken kebab and the wife ordered sheek kebab. Both were served in a fresh naan with salad and sauce. The naans were exceptionally nice, freshly made while we waited and cooked to perfection. My chicken tasted delicious. The wife was equally happy with hers.Had I been served such food in a posh restaurant at 5x the price I would have been happy. Service was actually quite good with the server bringing us over a bowl of chilli and mayonnaise. To drink it was just Coca cola and Fanta. No alcohol here I'm afraid. The bill was £7.10, that's not a typo. I`m pleased that the first place we tried was closed now as I'm sure I would have parted with a lot more money there for food possibly not as nice.A few days later we returned for lunch which was equally as good. Whenever we are in London again, even if not staying at the Ibis we will catch the tube to Aldgate East (its only 20 metres away), for a cheap and delicious lunch.

I was working in the area when I noticed a lot of people seemd to be eating happily in the cafe. So I joined them. There is a daily special which is good value- I especially like the Wednesday special (lamb pilaf) and the Friday special (Chiceken biriani). The regular curries are very good too.

I used to be a regular at a cafe style restaurant on Brick Lane but sadly it closed.Thankfully I found the Khushbu. I am a regular traveller for business to London and can always find the half hour to visit Khushbu.I more often just go with the daily special and today it was "chicken on the bone"Very tasteful chicken with the addition of potatoes and a succulent spicy sauce. The roti bread was made fresh before my eyes and was a fine mix of crisp and soft.Including rice, salad and a soft drink, all for a tenner. I have paid three or four times that for stuff not as good. Not fine dining but if you want excellent tasting no frills curry then this is the place. I urge everyone who reads this to visit because if folks don't go then it too may close like my previous favourite
