I can only give this a four star rating because it was so Rowdy and Rammed - but then again, what do you expect on a Friday night in Brick Lane!? Anyway the food was good and the ambience was at least friendly and the waiters did their best under the very overcrowded circumstances. My top tip would be to give it a go midweek!

The food is delicious. But the restaurant is divided into its premises. One if you eat à la carte, it is a poorly decorated place and they have tried to fit so many tables that it is impossible to even move an eyelid and very noisy. The waiters want to go so fast that they serve so-so. Although they ended up being nice. The food is worth the visit

Bengal Village is my go-to curry house and in my opinion the best on Brick Lane! Been eating in this restaurant for over 20 years now and really friendly with the owner and staff. Always have a great time! Food is excellent, fresh and they have a great selection of dishes to try. I highly recommend, 5 stars all-round!!

Very nice Bangladeshi restaurant on Brick Lane. The food was very tasty, ready soon and not expensive. The waiters were very friendly and helpful (especially Tom). Recommended for unwinding with a late lunch after visiting Brick Lane.

Lamb dishes are out of this world. Great place where you will treated very well.

First time here with a few friends, I had a prawn puri for starters and then I had a lamb tikka biryani for mains.. 10000% 10/10 food, one of the best biryani’s I have ever had… everything taste nice and fresh, plenty of lamb in the biryani and prawns in the starter. I will 100% be a regular here from now one.

This is not INDIAN FOOD they sell it as Indian Food. Noisy busy atmosphere food not authentic...curries are not tasty at all !! It is a SHAME they advertise themselves as selling authentic INDIAN FOOD !! Never going back !!

The restaurant attracts a certain niche: the pub-going kind, the kind that don't really care about the quality of the food as long as there is alcohol served with it. The staff maintains and encourages this niche in order to make profit, fair enough to them...but why market yourself on your website as an "Authentic Indian Restaurant", more like British-Asian Pub. The food is made to be oily to increase its volume so less quantity can be sold for more. I just think it's sad that Bengalis have so much culture to share with the world but it is all lost to these quick and easy techniques to imporve profit margins. Asians are known to cook and serve food with love. It's a religion, it's a devotion to the customer. I didn't get any of that from this restaurant. This isn't real Asian culture and the funny thing is I'll probably get a snarky reply from the owner to say something like "Go eat in your mums house" or something immature like that. Pro Tip: Sort Reviews by lowest first and have a look at some of the rude comments the owner leave on the reviews. It's truly a sad sight. He needs additional training in customer service

Sempre una certezza! Ci andiamo da anni ogni volta che andiamo a Londra. Tutto buono. Servizio sin troppo presente. Da migliorare solo il bagno delle donne col suo accesso poco invitante, in un così bel locale è un peccato passare da quello stanzino trasandato per andare in bagno. In ogni modo torneremo come sempre!

Possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had. Bland food and crammed in tables. My dish of lamb bhuna was lukewarm so I sent it back - no apology given by waiter who just took it off the table. When it returned it had been microwaved and was barely edible. Garlic naan was dry as a bone. None of us particularly enjoyed our meals and I’m sure there’s much better restaurants in Brick Lane. I have no idea why this restaurant has such a high TA rating. Not worth the money. Any restaurant which needs its staff to stand outside telling customers how good it is needs to be avoided.

Great start to the meal. Good meal. Great wait staff. We were presented the bill very quickly, having just been served extra drinks. Was pushed twice to clear the table within 2 mins. Unreasonable, especially when they gratefully took an optional tip. (Before we were asked to drink full beer in less than 2 mins. They refused to refund the optional tip.

Chicken was extremely dry, servers were rude and tried to get out of the deal previously agreed outside. After everything they tried to say that their card machine was broken and to get cash out and made a large fuss when we said we only had cards. I would recommend Preem across the road.

The chicken curry was a standout—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, paired with incredibly soft garlic bread that melted in my mouth. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff, especially Abdul, made us feel right at home with their friendliness and attentive service. Definitely a must-visit! Highly recommend.

The service here is phenomenal, exceeded all our expectations. Staff are so welcoming and lovely here. The food here is amazing, full of flavour and unique compared to the other places nearby! This place is a must have and should deffo be visited if in the area! Will deffo be back soon :)

Came down from Scotland met a mate for dinner, got the 50% off deal on line as we came before 5pm food was great service from the waiter was great took his menu recommendations. Few beers and starters and mains was about 60 quid which for London and the food quality felt like a bargain.

We were served by Tommy as a group of 7. He catered to our every whim. Food was unreal, top tier service, top tier staff. 100% recommend. Big up Tommy.
