Wonderful food served by attentive and welcoming staff. The food here is exceptional, so good we’ve visited for two successive weekends this month. The chicken tikka is incredibly tender, succulent and beautifully marinated, the king prawns are huge and delicious. I recommend the Desi chicken main, full of flavour. We’ve purchased a gold card again for next year and plan to use it whenever we can. Great restaurant!

Can’t express it in words !! It was such a heart warming experience. We had got reference for Anoki and we were so excited to try it out. Being new to England, we went in with low expectations regarding the taste, but wow, it was the complete opposite! We were honestly blown away by how authentic the flavors were, just like back home in India. The food was absolutely amazing. Speaking of the chef, he was incredibly generous. When we mentioned that we were students, he warmly welcomed us with a delicious orange-guava mixed juice that tasted out of this world. Will definitely like to visit again♥️

As superb as ever, Anoki never fails to provide the very best of food and service. Every visit we have is great, Akram and team cannot do enough to ensure that each visit is as good as the last!

Definitely upmarket and the main course prices confirm. The service was a little over the top but to be fair the head waiter recommended a 5 piece starter which was excellent. The star of the show came accompanying the poppadoms. Described as chicken chat it came as a bowl of fresh herby palate cleansing delight. The main course curry sauces were lovely but I found the quality of the chicken disappointing for the price.

Couldn’t ask for anything more! We visited here as a family for a Father’s Day celebration. Staff were super attentive and very nice to my 3 year old. The food was delicious, and quick. We were given ice cream free of charge which was absolutely delicious. Honestly we loved it and really couldn’t ask for more! Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

My favourite restaurant in Nottingham

On holiday in the Peak District area, me and the family were keen to enjoy a tasty curry. Via google, came across Anoki, seeking a good wheelchair accessible venue. From entering Anoki, staff were so friendly and accommodating. Currently doing a summer deal, we were presented with a wide variety of dishes. The generosity and hospitality of service was excellent, for an evening to remember with perfect food and professional service give Anoki a visit.,You won’t be disappointed. Amazing food.

Took my friends here to celebrated my daughter and her boyfriend graduating because I had been once before. Love seeing all the staff wearing traditional attire, and the service is both warm and attentive. Food is perfection, portion sizes are very big therefore we found choosing a few different options and sharing suited us best. We even brought some home! Such a hidden gem, would recommend to anyone visiting Nottingham to seek out ANOKI.

We have used these for 10 years and used to be the best place for Indian food. We went last week and the place is looking abit run down needs abit of tlc. Toilets were dirty and smelt and the food presentation just wasn’t what it used to be. For the price of the food I expected better. For what we’ve had with past experiences the last visit was abit disappointing! I sent two messages to anoki after our visit and still no response…

Myself and my husband were visiting Motorpoint arena for a show so I googled where to eat nearby. We love indian food and ANOKI was a stones throw away from the venue. I can HONESTLY say, this food and service was perfect! The set 2 course meal was fabulous value, although I found the starters so amazing and good size portions, I really struggled with my main course. The attention to detail of all the staff, with their traditional attire and the ambience of the restaurant itself has now firmly made this my favourite Indian restaurant. I am travelling back to Nottingham in May, and the first thing I will do is take my daughter to try ANOKI too.

Wonderful place. Such fantastic service, they gave us complimentary drinks and popadoms and chutneys. We felt right at home and the chicken jalfrezi tasted fresh and well spiced. Toilet are pretty clean, ambience is good. They definitely pay attention to detail. A date well done!!!

First time at the Nottingham one, we usually go to Burton and it did not disappoint. More intimate, friendly and welcoming staff. The tastiest Indian food!

Gold card members and aware of Anoki's quality. We usually dine at Burton or Derby Anoki, but we were in Nottingham for a show, so the first time to this Anoki restaurant. We preferred it to our usual. It was more comfortable and intimate. Akrim and Emilia served us extremely well and were happy to do so. As if their sole mission was to make sure you were happy. The menu was familiar, but the food was better than we remembered. The restaurant is perfectly situated near the Motorpoint Arena and Lace Market bars. A gem of a place.

We were a walk-in table of 4 on Sunday early doors. It was perfect. We were treated like special guests and the food was so good; beautifully balanced and complex flavours. We were also treated to some added extras which were appreciated. We would definitely visit it again.

I have been a customer of Anoki for over twenty years. I also pay an annual subscription for their Gold Card. Recently their customer service has become very poor. Thankfully Derby has many other excellent Indian restaurants!

Great place for a preconcert curry but the food is banging

Try Anokhi in Nottingham. It’s an amazing restaurant. The team are brilliant and very attentive without overdoing it. The food speaks for itself catering for both vegetarians and anyone who loves their chicken or lamb. Try the goan sea bass. Off the bone and is beyond anything else I’ve tried. So worth it and a change from chicken which is what I normally have. The venue is 2 mins away from Nottingham arena so a great way to start your evening.

The food and experience was amazing. We came in with a small child and staff were very understanding and accommodating. The food was delicious and very fragrant, whilst the service matched. Will definitely be returning!

What a surprise! We were going to see Rick Astley at the Motorpoint Arena, needed to eat before the concert, and found this restaurant. Great food, great service, and really elegant atmosphere.

Booked a dinner for a company event. We kept changing the numbers until almost the last day - due to train strikes then cancellations! The staff were always understanding and helpful. When we arrived, the table was beautifully set, lovely drinks handed out upon arriving, and the impeccable service started! We ordered one of their tasting menus for our group and everything, and I mean every.single.dish was delicious and fragrant and filling and amazing! Everyone enjoyed the food, commented on the great service and the available drinks included in the price. I would highly, highly recommend this spot for a simple or an elegant or corporate dinner! Their staff were amazing!

Ordered lamb chops revolting ordered chicken. Tikka came half cook pink in the middle. Bill come to a 120 pounds. Absolutely, Vile Family never enjoyed. It will not return.

We celebrated our anniversary at Anoki last night. Delicious food, and amazing service. The staff were very attentive but we're gone as quickly as they came to let us enjoy our evening in peace. We were even given a sign for our table which said Happy Anniversary :)

We had a long wait to order and even had to ask for drinks as noone came to serve us even after taking the next tables order who came in a long time after us. But after all that the food was lovely.

It is a good sign when the whole table is commenting during the meal at how delicious the food is. Plus the service was quick and the staff incredibly friendly. I would certainly recommend and return one day.

A distinctly average meal and experience generally. I enjoy my local Indian restaurant more and it's better value. While our order was being taken the waiter was looking elsewhere and clearly didn't want to spend time explaining the menu. Lamb starter was quite chewy and it didn't taste like lamb really Cod cooked well in my main but sauce was average with no depth of flavour My partner had salmon starter and prawn main and he wasn't enthused by it either. The reviews and marketing seemed to suggest a fine dining experience; the menu was limited so I thought there would be attention to detail but it was anything but. Starters £11 and all mains were over £30 with rice. This was no more than your usual takeaway fare but at a high cost.

Nice place in the middle of Nottingham. Went with friends, our first time visit. Limited menu, all one price which I thought was very expensive £24.95. Hubby had chicken jalfreze which he said was lovely I had a lamb on the bone dish, a few chunks of gristle but was nice. We've had same dishes at other curry places, equally as tasty for half the price. My opinion was that we were paying for the fancy decor, mints, heated hand towel etc. Because of the price I would not go again.

Food was really good, although i havent tried the whole menu so i cant speak for every item. Atmosphere great, very well spoken & friendly staff. Its a bit expensive but filling. Around £80 for starter and main dish 2 people seated. (1 round of drinks) Paid the optional charge because although the food is expensive, the service is top notch.👌

Went out for a meal by ourselves for the first time in ages. Food was amazing. Too much naan, so my wife asked for a doggy bag. When we got home she found there was extra. We will definitely be returning!

We visited last night for the £20 3 course meal and it was fantastic! Being a fussy eater worried me but they were very accommodating and I had exactly what I wanted, had a choice of rice and naan bread also. They made my husbands lamb hotter for him which he loved ( along with his garlic and chilli Naan) weren’t expecting 5 courses either! A sorbet after the starters and a small but lovely dessert- we had so much we have food for another meal each. If you’re worried about the choice on the menu, don’t be, they will make sure you are looked after.

Wow just wow....I dont do spicy food but we went to an event in Nottingham and the aroma drew us in I had king prawn butter....masala I think I have no idea and it was awesome as recommended by a member if staff my wife had a saag...I loved every mouthful can you do deliveroo to Doncaster please?? Seriously guys fantastic eating experience cant wait for the next Notts gig so we can come again!!

I had been going to Anoki pretty much since it opened, but then I moved away to Oxfordshire. I met up with some friends and family and Anoki was the first place i wanted to go in our short stay (2 nights) back in Nottingham and i am delighted to state that not only has the food retained its delicious standards and even flair - that they always delivered but the atmosphere and friendly and professional staff are also still at the highest service levels, friendly and attentive and I don't know how often they change their carpets but it must be often because this place feels like you are walking or floating in tgey are so deep, its surreal. I love the decor its original, sophisticated and eloquent - i miss living in Nottingham and a part of that is because anoki is so damn unbeatable.

I had been told that the food at Anoki was very good but it exceeded my expectations. We handed over to our waiter to choose our food for us - mixed starters and a selection of curries for the main course, plus naan, chapatis and rice. Everything was amazing and could not be faulted. Dessert included gulab jamun which was presented in a bowl which cascaded dry ice. Spectacular and tasty. Loved the old theatre building, loved the waiters' uniforms, loved the service. Can't wait to come back.

Booked a table at 6:15 on a fairly quiet Thursday evening. There were 10 of us and probably a coule of other tables of a couple of people on each one. I had the lamb desi (hot) and one of the other's on my table had chicken Tikka Masala. MY lamb was amazingly tendor, quite a good portion, it was tasty and the sauce was spot on. I was worried it might be too hot but it was more medium for me so was perfect. The chicken tikka came on a skewer and there was plenty of it. The sauce was in a side dish. The menu took a bit of working out but we went for a main course at £29. This came with a plain nann and pilaf of which we could have extra for the same price, so when you take that into consideration then the price was a itle higher than normal but so was the quality so I was OK with that. Couple of things though that weren't quite right. We did have to ait a very long time for the food but it was worth the wait and there were 10 of us. Also, they had a constant stream of deliveroo drivers that hovered around the bar for orders and happened to be at the end of our table, albeit a good few paces away. It took the edge off the atmospohere somewhat having guys in crash helmets standing around but these are just a couple of minor things. There were other menu options that could be selected to include 2 courses, or even unlimited drink ... but wouldn't want to be in there when groups are taking advantage of that ;-)

Usually order takeaway though have eaten in a couple of times over the years. Food is fantastic, for me hands down best curry in Nottingham. Extra cost is well worth it. Staff are pleasant and the restaurant is lovely.

We were advised on booking at the Nottingham branch to park in the nearby multistorey because the restaurant had tokens to make parking free. Our large table spent over £800 on the overpriced food and drink (both fine, but available elsewhere in the town for half the price). On leaving, we asked for the parking tokens only to be told "council not delivered them this week". Staff shrug shoulders and walk away. Terrible cynical customer service. The car park is run by NCP not the council (and costs £22.50 for an evening's parking). I doubt any of our party will eat at Anoki again - I certainly won't.

Really upset with this company. Loved the food here and used them a couple of times before. However the service I’ve just received from Anoki express has left me speechless. The food just didn’t arrive. Simply ruined our anniversary. For them to them take a day to even get back to advise us is appalling.

Had a take away from the express range. We usually love these but the chicken Balti was very salty and an Item was missing off order . Hopefully a one off

An amazing experience. Out of the box service and quality food. I was searching for a Chicken Hot and Sour soup for which I visited 'Tamatanga', 'Kayak' and few others, they all refused and said they don't do soups. Finally I thought of giving a try to 'Anoki', I was welcomed by a turban wearing kind person (I forgot to ask his name). He said it's not in the menu but let me check with the chef. He called the Chef outside and the Chef accepted my special request. After waiting for some time, the turban guy gave me some portion of the soup to check if it's alright. I tasted the soup and it was amazing. An Authentic Chicken Hot and sour soup!. It was a take away and my family enjoyed it. Hats off to their staff and I really appreciate their service and authentic quality of food.

Don't recommend the delivery drivers to pick order from this restaurants. For three reasons ; firstly, it takes more than half an hour for the chef to make the order and the delivery is not their priority secondly, 99 percent of this restaurant orders are far too far and not worth it. Thirdly, staff are really unwelcoming and unfriendly.

We arrived 5.30 on a Sunday (pre event dinner). From the moment you walk in the door at Anoki the standard of service/welcome is evident. Made to feel like a valued customer. The staff are extremely polite, courteous and helpful. The food was some of the best we have had in Indian restaurant for a long time. Poppadoms and pickles. Garlic Naan, pilau rice, Mirch Masala Chicken and Chicken Tikka Bhuna. All very good, tasty and served hot. We will definitely visit again when stopping in Nottingham.

Amazing experience. I booked a table in advance to surprise my wife and they were accomdating with availability. Whilst we were trying to find parking space I contacted them to make them aware we were on the way they understood and were flexible with allocating seating. When we arrived the atmosphere was amazing,dimmed lighting,great music playing in the background. All the staff went above and beyond with giving food suggestions and the meal options was great. Highly recommended, amazing costumers service would definitely go again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😃

Coming to Anokhi restaurant Nottingham for many years. Faz and the team including Adam, Kapoor, Akram and Amelia are always very helpful. They treat all customers so respectfully and they are so accommodating to our taste. If you haven’t visited the restaurant, then you are missing out……

We ate at Anoki last weekend and feel compelled to write a review following the false reviews recently added by ‘Zach M’ & ‘Terrie’. Not only did this group act utterly appalling on the night, making a scene, refusing to pay the bill (I think they’d not done their research when choosing a fine dining restaurant), then returning to the restaurant and resorting to violence towards the staff after they’d forgotten a handbag which incidentally was full of items that they’d ‘acquired’ from the restaurant. The staff remained calm and professional despite being faced with such vulgar people….they even managed to get me my ice cream in the midst of it all. Anoki remains a quality restaurant with excellent food and extremely polite & courteous staff. This was demonstrated when having to deal with people intent on not paying for what they’d ordered. A dreadful way to treat people who were working their hardest whilst trying to celebrate Eid. Anoki remains by go to restaurant & the reviews from those individuals should be treated with the contempt which they deserve

Bought us the most expensive wine and never told us that it was so expensive over £55 a bottle. Never goung back.

We were in Notts so decided to visit Anoki rather than our usual Anoki haunt located on the A38. Food excellent, service good and friendly, ambience a little quiet but it was early on a Thursday evening. Every bit as good an experience as the HQ on the A38.

Anoki is a fantastic experience in every way. The waiting staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and seemed to genuinely want to provide a memorable experience. The food was excellent. We went for the taster menu and we were not disappointed. The quantity, quality and variety of food was great and was good value for money! When we mentioned that one of our party was pescatarian, they were more than happy to amend the taster menu to suit our needs. Would definitely recommend

best Indian restaurant in the Uk, better food and service than dubai. Mocktails are out this world, it’s not often you see a restaurant that can keep this constant quality up.
