Nunca juzgues un libro por su portada, aventúrate dentro. . . . estacionamiento gratuito seguro y fácil, cocina increíble "estilo teatro", todo fresco y sabroso. Excelentes cervezas y vinos, muchos asientos, alcobas ideales para grupos y fiestas de 8/10 personas.

Solía beber aquí hace años cuando era el pub Heathway y era una inmersión. Pero ahora se ha convertido en el martín pescador que decidí darle esta noche y quedé muy impresionado. El servicio fue excelente y la comida deliciosa. Definitivamente regresaré en el futuro cercano.

No dejes que el exterior te desanime, el interior es genial. La comida era hermosa y muy buena relación calidad-precio. La parrilla mixta de arranque fue suficiente para 4 personas.

My brother has recently been a long standing loyal customer of this restuarant and if I wasn't so hungry I would have joined in his protest to not buy a takeaway today but will most definitely never give them a single penny again. As it's boxing day food options were limited, we used a taxi to get there so we already were committed to spend money to go. On arrival we were told they were fully booked even though there was one very long table and booth available and another table booth. Essentially one entire end of the restaurant was empty. The gentleman knows my brother extremely well and is on first name terms but as said my brother had not been for a while due to personal reasons. What flabbergasted me is I sat for near on 20 minutes in which not one single new party of guests arrived. This restaurant has within it's window signage 'NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED'. I can pretty much appreciate that they may have guests to arrive soon but where is the common sense to at least enquire with us if we are planning on a long drawn out meal or just there for a quick bite so to speak. Anyone would think that a restaurant owner/manager would be interested in knowing it's staff can't even engage their brains into an opportunity to make money! At one point my brother was a weekly attendant for over a year perhaps spending along with family £150.00 per month in the establishment. I ordered a takeaway myself and the food is fairly priced and of a decent standard but hey it's the last time as practically snubbing customers and not trying to at least accomodate is why our entire family will be told not to bother.

My partner & I popped in to The Kingfisher Indian Restaurant last week & I had the best Chicken Korma I have ever eaten in my 68 years. It was simply delicious!!!!The staff were very friendly and helpful & the restaurant itself was clean & welcoming so Thank you.....

I use the kingfisher for all my Indian food. Food is great and customer service is spot on the same as the beer.

Visited this restaurant with friends and found the staff to be very friendly, polite, patient and accommodating.The food came out within a reasonable amount of time and as we ordered a wife variety of food I found that both veg and non veg tasted superb. We were very pleased to find such an extensive range of veggie options as 70% of us were vegetarians. Would highly recommend this place.

What a find ! After driving around for 20 minutes looking for somewhere to eat came across Kingfisher brilliant !

Lovely food. Only downside is the prices have increased but still the same menu as before. Wouldn’t of minded so much if the menu had some more variation on it but it’s still a very basic curry menu.

Visité el día del padre por la noche, así que estaba bastante ocupado. Un nuevo menú desde nuestra última visita, los precios han aumentado ligeramente, pero siguen siendo un excelente valor para la calidad de la comida y el tamaño de las porciones.

Visité la semana pasada y caminé directamente hacia el área del bar, qué buceo, mi compañero no quería quedarse, pero lo convencí de que debía haber otro lado para comer. Bueno, el otro lado. Qué contraste tan completo. Nos saludó el encantador Ricky, que era muy informativo sobre el menú y me recomendó usar un plato principal como plato principal, ya que la porción era generosa. Ricky dijo que toda la comida que se cocina en el restaurante se hace en casa y que se cansa de ir a restaurantes que compran comidas precocidas. Pero la comida se cocina delante de usted, ¿cuál es siempre una ventaja? La comida era estupenda, terminamos recibiendo una bolsa de perro para hacerse cargo de mis compañeros de la parrilla de mezcla. Lo que también fue perfecto. En total 26. 00 bien gastar (que incluía 2 cervezas?, Volveremos.

Casi iba a darle a este una calificación de "Muy buena", pero ahora solo puedo darle una calificación promedio. Por qué ? Vine aquí y la comida era buena, el servicio era bueno y el valor era bueno (las 3 cosas en las que califico un lugar). Sin embargo, volviendo aquí un par de semanas más tarde (por lo general voy a algún lugar al menos dos veces antes de calificar), la Comida seguía siendo buena al igual que el Servicio, pero el costo había aumentado. Probablemente sea solo una coincidencia, ya que aprecio que los costos suban casi todos los años, por lo que sobre esa base, obtengo este promedio (ya que hay muchos lugares como este). Pruébalo y toma tu propia decisión.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from The Kingfisher and i must say have been really impressed. We ordered 2 Large Grills which was really tasty and portions are a good size. Also ordered Paneer Makhani and tasted just like what you would expect from a proper Indian Panjabi place. As from Marston Green its really handy having a Desi Pub close by which saves travelling to West Brom/Handsworth or other parts of Birmingham. Overall food was tasty and delivered on time. Tasted proper authentic Indian Panjabi and will definitely be ordering from here again. Keep it up. Amo Singh

Different dishes but tasted the same. Too hot as well. I do not understand why Indian takeaway are always spicy hot and taste the same. Suppose I am spoilt with holidays to India, takeaways here just not authentic.

It arrived on time. But was cold, free items were missing and the wrong rice was boxed up.

Food was usual excellent quantity and quality. Slight mistake with the curry received was not what I ordered. Still enjoyed it .

Went here to try the mixed grill, I like my meat so thought about getting the one for 2 people, glad I never the one for 1 person was massive and I really never needed the chilli chips and keema nan but they were delicious. All the family found something the liked and that included 2 kids aged 13 and 7. Will definitely return

Rubbish ordered delivery wast after 2 hrs of waiting came. rang up just got a apology cos it was busy. And that was after two phone calls. Came at 21.58 considering I rang at 20.18. Got no discount and nothing was offered in return. Actually very sad considering ordered from them before and was good service for delivery.

Delicious food and lovely service

Just no! Undercooked chips, greasy, watery lamb balti (didn't look or smell like any balti I've ever had before) slimy, fatty pieces of lamb! mushy rice, Dry naan bread, no onion, chicken tikka starter came in a plastic tub and was floating in water! One taste was one too many and the lot went in the bin! Waste of money, will never use again.

This is a former public house that has been brought back to life as an excellent Indian restaurant, the stylish modern decor is only outdone by the excellent curry on offer. All the food we had in a party of 12 was amazing from the sizzling mixed grill to the Jalfrezi, the Dhansak, the Peshwari naan etc etc. including free poppadoms to start. The Kingfisher lager went down well and all the drinks as well as the meals are very reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning here in the near future. You need to try this place, well done to the Kingfisher.

Amazing food and friendly service, we eat here often and have never had any issues with anything that we have ordered! The manager is always so accommodating and always friendly with the children also. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for good food! 😊

Party of 9. First time visit and I am sad to say did not live up to my expectations. Staff were very inattentive and unfriendly. They took ages to take our order Since only 2 people wanted starters we asked that they could bring out popadoms with the starters for everyone else. They didn't and the bottom line was we had to wait 1 hour 40 minutes for food. My wife and I had the mixed grill and a king prawn balti. Lamb chops were like boot leather and the curry very bland. All the curries came our the same colour so the kitchen are lazy and do not cook to order but use one big bland curry sauce. I ordered drinks which never arrived. An expensive night but very unsatisfactory. Sorry will not be returning. Very very bad indeed

Popadoms arrived broken into tiny pieces? Never known anything like it. Ordered a chicken balti and knew by looking at it that it wasn’t going to taste like a Balti, it was a different colour to any other Balti I’ve had. It was almost tasteless. Starter was nice, it came with salad but no onions to go with the mint sauce. I won’t order again as food was very bland

If you want to wait more than 2 hours for your food and be disappointed then this the place order – this was the first and last time – the meals tasted like peppery casseroles which left a greasy film in your mouth and the keema nan had little or no meat and the rice was hard – we decide not to finish the meals which were poor quality and TBH they are slightly more expensive than others in the area – just proves that paying more does not yield better quality and service

Lovely food as always but the almost 2 hour wait was a bit of a joke.

Never before have I had such awful food. After hearing such good reviews about this place we couldn’t wait to try it, however what was delivered tonight was appalling. Beginning with the mixed shared starter that was in a naan bread bag looked like something you’d take home for an animal. Chips weren’t great. Keema curry wasn’t at all nice And untouched after the first mouthful. We also ordered a chicken madras which had a disgusting burnt taste and smell.. naan bread was dry also. To think a total of 43.70 has gone down the drain. Absolutely disgusted

We live in a flat and the driver sat in his car waiting for us to come to him. We called the restaurant when food was 30min late and was told the driver had already left with or food it took 25 minutes more to do the 2mile drive.

Wasn't keen on the curry tonight very runny and tasted different 😥

Not your typical Indian cuisine! This one combines stylish interior with great food creating perfect atmosphere making sure you have a wonderful evening with your family ! Definitely recommend and will be coming back :)

Normally we go and collect the food from kingfisher but thought il order instead... As always food is amazing and i was really happy with the early delivery. Also the menu is easy to read on just eat!!! Not bombarded with information

Order from here an awful lot I also eat in with my family a few times. I don’t know what’s happened today but the food isn’t warm, chicken is dry, naan and chips are stale and the rice is like eating cardboard. Like I said very disappointing to leave this review as normally the food is a brilliant quality

Ordered and was given a delivery time of 85 mins. This time came and went. About 15 mins after the delivery time, the order was updated to delivered. I live about 5 mins drive from the restaurant so gave them another 10 minutes, just in case it was on it's way but still no sign. Rang the restaurant who claimed the driver was just leaving!! Food was delivered cold 20 minutes later! Would have given the food 6 stars if it had been hot. Had to heat everything up so we were eating over 2 hours after the order was made. What is extra disappointing is that I order weekly from here and recommend to others. The mistake I made was using JustEat to be delivered to my home address. This restaurant has now lost my custom and my recommendations by treating JustEat customers as 2nd class

Ordenamos a partir de aquí semanalmente, pero nos lo envían en un pub cercano. Esta noche pedimos a través de JustEat para una entrega a domicilio y la diferencia en el servicio es impactante. Tenía un tiempo estimado de entrega de 90 minutos. . . bien con eso Lo que no está bien es cuando el restaurante actualiza su pedido entregado y cuando llama, le dan el estándar "está muy ocupado esta noche, el conductor se está yendo". Luego, cuando los desafías, simplemente no se molestan. No creas que hizo clic en que ahora han perdido 40 pedidos por semana. ¡Bien hecho!

The service from this place was disgusting. I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for my order, phoned the shop as advised to be told we have to wait as the driver is in his way. staff were rude. the quality of the food was very poor, curry and rice was watery mush. would not recommend this place at all. disgusting!

Este restaurante no tiene mucho en cuanto al atractivo (vea las fotos) pero el interior es bastante agradable al tener suficiente espacio alrededor de su mesa. Sin embargo, tiene dos televisores de pantalla grande, de los que no estoy muy seguro en un restaurante, pero tiene un gran ventanal que da a la cocina, lo que me tranquiliza.

Order out on recommendation as a member of family was not fit to go out and dine at this establishment. Faultless food. No complaints at all. I have only given a 4 star as I could not review the dining experience at the restaurant.

It was incredibly late it then said it was delivered when I then called them up the guy on the phone was polite but fast told me that it was on its way it's just late then eventually after putting down the phone the food arrived the sauces in the bag were burst and were on everything so we couldn't enjoy it the food was poorly presented really the popadoms were misshapen I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

The table we took had food all over the floor (filthy) then comes our biriyani with human hair in it (Gross). The new waiter even though was friendly, did not apologise for the hairy biriyani experience. We did not even finish our meal and yet there was no apology. Not a place I’d ever return to considering the hygiene level is terrible and the fact that they think this is ok makes me disgusted..

Quite easily the best food and beer in the Birmingham area I have tried. Polite and attentive staff. Chefs create the most amazing Indian/punjabi dishes, me and the kids love everything we order every time. You have to try the mixed grill and chilli fish. A hidden gem that has to be experienced to be appreciated and reasonably priced.Looking forward to our next visit. Mr Singh and family

I was looking for a Desi Pub and found this gem. I hear this wasn’t a very good pub before, but the new owners are on to a winner now. The first time I visited was a couple of months ago i was so glad I found it, I went on my own and just had the wings. The bar area isn’t brill but the restaurant is spot on and is completely separate. The food tasted good, so the second time I took my brother in law and we ordered a large mixed grill and a lamb curry (can’t remember which one) and both were very good. Last Friday I had my works leaving do here and some of my colleagues brought along their partners and kids and we had a great evening. Staff are attentive and handled 20 people comfortably and the food was spot on. A couple of the guys even found the “mixed grill for one” too big that they didn’t have a main. The vegetarians loved the veggie mixed grills and the veggie curries. The biryanis also got great compliments. I’ve got to say I’ve been to a lot of Desi pubs and I’m so glad I’ve got one this good so close to me.
