Been here a few times. Amazing food and service by the lovely waitress “Huma”. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough!!

On October 26, 2024, we visited Laung Laachi and sampled a diverse menu, including a tawa dish, chicken fillet burger with fries, cheese burger with chips, pineapple pina colada and a lassi. While the culinary offerings were delectable and bursting with flavor, our overall experience was marred by several shortcomings. Our meal was notably delayed, with a wait time exceeding 45 minutes. Notably, other people who arrived after us were served promptly. The chicken tikka prepared in the tawa was marred by the presence of finely minced bones, resulting in bone fragments in each bite. Despite our prompt notification to the manager, no remedial measures were taken to address this issue. While the food quality was commendable, the restaurant’s management failed to provide adequate service and attention to detail. The rushed departure of the staff, compounded by the late arrival of our meal, left a negative impression on our experience.

Went in today for friends birthday ordered chicken steak with chips and rice and mix grill Was expecting steak but got stone hard chicken breast that was so hard to bite no seasoning at all Came with boiled rice that didn’t even have salt In them And special sauce that had black pepper in it Chips were so oily Asked the waitress to change rice as soon as she put the plate on the table she said we can’t do that It comes with this rice Poor customer service staff seemed rude and arrogant Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

The kahari lamb platter for two was full of flavour and paired well with the honey wings as an appetiser. I highly recommend this meal choice, as it offered great value for the price. The mocktails were sweet and refreshing, with many options available. The service was quick and the staff were also very polite. I’d recommend this restaurant and the look forward to returning in the future insha’Allah.

The food was above my expectations. The lamb karahi was phenomenal, you can adjust the spices to your choice. Bbq platter was also value to money. Staff was really friendly. Will go again.

It is a very nice place to go for a desi meal. We had the butter chicken and lamb chops which were really nice. Mango lassi was amazing!

My experience at laung laache was amazing. My son said the signature chicken burger was fantastic. For me, I loved the chicken karahi. I gave it a 4 star because the chicken and lamb tikka were a bit dry. Overall , I liked it and would definitely come here again.

We had a random plan to visit Birmingham while travelling on motorway. Our overall experience was good. We ordered Tawa and all items were good. One thing I would recommend the business is to improve the situation in parking as it gives a worst first impression because of garbage and bad smell and one feels like going back right from there.

I am a regular at laung laachi Whenever I go on my own the rude waitress that hardly knows any English makes me sit on a 2 seat table saying you can't sit on a 4 seat when 2 people are always sitting on a 4 seat don't know what her issues are. Very pathetic especially she doesn't understand the tabke she's giving me is next to the door so my food gets cold as been before. Lost a regular customer whose needs couldn't be accompanied.

Had desi breakfast here - was absolutely amazing! No copious amounts of oil and the Nihari was very fresh. The service was perfect as well, staff incredibly friendly. Look forward to eating dinner here too!

Absolutely amazing, authentic Punjabi food, loved the nihari and paaya - finger licking good! I ordered for the first time via Deliveroo. I rang the restaurant first; the person i spoke to was very helpful and courteous. I ordered a Nihari and Lamb Paaya Dish. I have to say this was the first time ever I found a restaurant in the Midlands that actually makes delicious authentic Punjabi food such as Paaya. It really hit the spot! We usually travel out of town to London, Manchester, Bradford etc for these dishes. It’s the first time i finally discovered a restaurant that makes delicious Punjabi food in the Birmingham area! I am truly overjoyed at my accidental discovery! Absolutely outstanding, Laung Laachi is firmly in No 1 position and i look forward to dining in at the restaurant at some point too. Thank you! 🤗🤗🤗

Ordered a mixed grill, cod fish and prawns to take out. Everyone loved the food. I forgot the naan at the restaurant, when I called the restaurant they were more than happy to deliver them to me. 🙏 Absolutely amazing will order again.

What an amazing find ! The food was superb, proper Pakistani cuisine with taste and spice on point. On top of good food was their service, competent waiters with a big smile. Also whoever selected and made the playlist is a star because the songs really set the vibe.

Had a very bad experience here today, gave us the wrong tawa and the lady blamed us for ordering the wrong food, we wasn’t the only one who she did this too. I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my family or friends , customer service is awful here the server starts to argue with you.

Came in last night. Were from Scotland and stopped for something to eat before we drove home My husband had the chicken handi and said it was good I had the spinich paneer which wasnt nice at all. More effort needed in vegetarian dishes no taste at all. Also dont serve tap water

Laung Laachi Restaurant is a huge disappointment, especially considering the hype it gets on TikTok. The lamb chops were a major letdown – they were rubbery, tasteless, and almost bubble-like in texture. Definitely not worth the money. The place seems more focused on promoting itself than delivering quality food. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a good dining experience.

Being an Uber Eats driver I would like to give a review once I get an order from Laung Laachi I just went inside for order pickup actually a girl on tell was so rude just told me your order isn't ready yet and seeing me up and down to my dress and laughing and told me that you have to wait outside for order collection not in restaurant and it was raining outside. I myself giving respect to everyone and we are all humans and being same and we have to respect each other not to disrespect TYSM.

I would really like to appreciate this beautiful place .we went laung laachi on friday night in a group of about 37 people .we booked before hand . Food was delicious . Customer service was amazing .thanks to Sabiha and a young man who served us and accomodate all the requests made . Sitting area was comfortable. 10/10 Would definitely go again . We found a spot if we need to go as a family or big group. Thanks for all the support .

We visited here and had a tawa for two. The service was brilliant and the server was attentive and friendly. However the tawa was underwhelming. The karahi was fresh and delicious but that’s about it. Lukewarm kebabs and chicken served on raw cold onions surrounding it with stale chips. Even the roti was average and lacking freshness.

I visited here on friday and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for what would be an unforgettable meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service without being intrusive. Our server, Sabiha and manager Arham was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Now, onto the food—absolutely delicious! We tried the tawa grill, meat and chicken karahi and meat pilau and rasmalai and it was cooked to perfection. My dining companions were equally impressed. The ambiance was perfect for a party evening meal, Whether you're looking for a cozy night out or a special celebration, this restaurant has it all. We came all the way from leicester especially just to try Laung Laachi. The food was amazing, very tasty and the portions were of a good size and the customer service/waiters were very helpful and kind. Would definitely come here again. Also would recommend to anybody who liked authentic paksitani food.

Decided to visit Laung Laachi as I turned up late on Ladypool rd, and there were only a few restaurants still open due to being mid week.. My thoughts after finishing my meal: will def visit again as the service was friendly and considerate and the food was top-notch, esp as I was the last customer before closing.

Basicly average the food was well portioned however flavour was dull over priced for quality as the 1kg chicken had 1 leg 1 wing n rest of it was off cuts of mainly bones... we had tawah for 4 n 2 lamb was decent.

Nice place and good food. The fish on the tawa was a bit toooooo salty. The biryani was lovely. Lamb handi was amazing. Seekh kebabs and Chick peas curry were fantastic.Roti and Naan bread were superb. The service from the staff was extremely professional. Food is reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend the place and will visit again.

Me and my husband and baby was staying in Birmingham and went to this place and ordered a lamb tawa. It was delicious, and the lady waitress is lovely and gave a great service, the next day we went again after walking out on another restaurant after 2 hours wait. we explained to the lady wht had happened,and hw our good day had turned into a disaster and she made sure we got our food really quick which we did,she was very considerate and gave great service yet again, and again it was delicious and our family enjoyed it too, next time our time in Birmingham we will definitely be coming back and trying other dishes

Very disappointed having read the gopd reviews. The naan were disappointed as was the burgers. The zinger burger came burnt the 1st time and the coating tasted awful. Will not be going again

Chicken tikka was not properly cooked disgusting , biryani was fine after complaining they were excusing , what a shame must change the grill guy

I recently visited Laung Laachi in Birmingham, expecting a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, it was anything but that. The hygiene standards were absolutely shocking. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority for the restaurant. The tables were sticky, the floors were dirty, and even the cutlery appeared unclean. To make matters worse, when I brought these issues to the attention of the owner and manager, they were completely dismissive. Not only did they not address the hygiene concerns, but their attitude was downright disrespectful. They showed no interest in resolving the issues or ensuring that their customers were satisfied. Given the combination of poor hygiene and unprofessional management, I would strongly advise against dining here. There are plenty of other restaurants in Birmingham that offer both great food and respectful service. Laung Laachi, unfortunately, is not one of them. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place.

Visiting from Melbourne Australia and it is now our sincere prayer that Pakistani/Desi restaurants in Melbourne achieve half of this level. We ordered the Maghaz Tawa Masala (10/10), the Chicken Biryani (10/10), and the Mix Grill (10/10). The prices were decent, the service was excellent, and the taste of the food was insanely good!

Tried two types of Tawas. The chicken and lamb one for 4 people each. All the meats were dry and hard. Nothing was juicy or soft. The bed of onions they came on were hardly cooked. Both of the Karahis tasted poor. Hardly any notable taste factors. Just generic ‘my mum can do this at home’ sort of food but without the good flavours. Total let down. Was led to think these guys know what they’re doing. We did have one or two members with us that liked some of it. I stopped eating altogether and wanted to have a word but the mrs held me back on that one. Service was lovely. The girl who tended our table was awesome as you would expect. It’s just the standard of food we had was no good. Wouldn’t go here again or recommend.

The food was amazing. We had ordered a tava and it more than enough for 5 people. We even had got some packed as it was too much. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Manager had emptied a table for us to have a picture taken infront of a nice painting they had in restaurant.

Know this restaurant does great tawa I bought one for four and it was very nice and also bought karela ghosht separately boy that was very nice and tasty meat was very tender

Food was tastless although ordered spicy, however, ambience was good. If you are going in busy time, there is no parking.

Last minute decision, and we decided to try this restaurant with a group of 40ppl. Delicious food, lovely humble waitress. Platter ....it was so much food and v all enjoyed. Best Karahi and Nihari.
