Exceptionally slow service and apparently no recognition of the idea that people at a railway station might be in a rush.

I ordered a flat white, served at the right temperature along with a tasty bacon, brie and cranberry melt which I enjoyed on my way down to London. The staff were friendly and had a great knowledge of their products. I highly recommend Espresso Station for great coffee and service.

Bacon bap gave me bad food poisoning

Bought a sausage bap to have on the train, absolutely tiny bap with 1 & 1/2 tiny burnt sausages on it with a coffee it was over £9. Absolutely shocking quality and value.

Possibly the worst espresso I've ever had. Just sour. Nothing else to say about it. Can't imagine who actually likes this stuff.

Very good coffee and pastries! My go to place lately to chill away from the bustle of the City and people watch for half an hour with a decent brew! Such an atmospheric spot, especially if there's a steam train.

Worst cup of tea I’ve had for a long time - way too much milk and given to me lukewarm. Train disruption meant I didn’t have time to go back. Won’t be coming here again.

Modern coffee shop well placed at Moor Street station. Unfortunately it took 3 attempts to get my order right, however once done the coffee and food were of a very good quality. However for better service and variety at a better price, I'd definitely recommend the Centenary Lounge next door.

Acidity of the apple tart (forgot how it's named) was just right. Lovely to go with a pot of hot tea. Nice ambience with jazz classics.

Had the unpleasant experience of visiting this shop on Moor Street Station today. Having just bought tickets 30 seconds before, I was attempting to put them in my wallet, mask in hand also as I put one foot inside, when the jumped up hairy tea-boy shouts "put your mask on before you enter the shop, it is the law you know!" I've worked on retail for 40 years & realise that rules are rules & I accept them & they have to be observed but I also know to treat the customer fairly & first impressions count. If Louise hadn't already ordered her coffee I would of rather gone without! The "coffee" - if you can call it that, was awful, overpriced & luke warm! The food didn't look very appetising either! I'dve rather had a 99p coffee from macdonalds!! Don't suppose he will be bothered but I certainly won't be going back. Only gave a star because I couldn't leave a review without it - no stars from me!

My partner and I came here for a quick lunch on a Saturday, the food was amazing and came really quickly. We ordered 2 tikka wraps they were good value for money and the menu was a good variety. I ordered 2 cocktails which were also really nice and were not too watered down at all, one of my cocktails was too sweet but the staff were lovely and fixed it for me eith no problems. The multiple staff we talked to were very nice and checked on us to see if everything was okay and all in all was a 5 star experience, thank you very much.

Lee the manager was awesome! He made us feel right at home, cracked a few jokes and was very attentive. I can’t praise him enough. The food was also delicious! We will definitely be back for more. Wished the dosa was on the menu but during covid times it was limited options, still had a great meal though finished with a masala chai. P.s bring back the afternoon tea

Browsing the menu strategically placed to entice walkers by, we noticed the wrap deal (wrap, wedges and drink) being promoted, which although still quite expensive, did its job in luring us in. The staff were pleasant enough and sat us down and immediately explained the deal wasn't available if we were to sit down to eat, we'd have to pay quite a bit extra to get them separately. Now this caused us us a problem as the menu outside was for customers looking to eat inside and being as we were inside selfridges we were unable to eat a meal whilst walking up and down the aisles of clothes. We questioned the inaccurate signage and were told that the menus at the front was trapped inside the menu display and unable to be accurately updated. Not a massively credible story, but we persisted in trying to understand our options which we asked if we could perhaps order them as a takeaway and eat them at the table (I know, a bit cheeky) but we were told that the portion sizes were significantly smaller if you take away (note to people don't order takeaway here if you're hungry) and they couldn't serve us it as it would effect their stock levels. With this logic I presume they must be reluctant to sell any food as it must play havoc with their stock levels. However being hungry, I was determined to see if common sense could prevail, they however were not, and stated they had to stick to the rigid and misleading menu provided by their London HQ, despite being at odds with trading standards. We eventually gave up and went to Ed's Diner, which was excellent!

If you want to sample taste food, go for a main course . You will get hardly 3 to 4 table spoons of rice and little curry for £12.95 . Drink doesn't taste like coke either. It is some cheap cola with ice and a lemon wedge. Potion size puts you off like anything. Quality wise, it is good. But 2 people have to spend about £50+ , which is way more expensive than any costly place.

I've been to Ooty Station several times, and the service is great from the moment you enter. The food is outstanding, tasty and full of flavour, its not full of oil. This year alone I have been aroind 5 times, so that speaks for itself, I have bought with me various different family members and they say themselves how great the food is. Definaltey recommend! Hats of to the staff especially Jordan for making it so welcoming and an enjoyable experience!!!

Friendly service & lovely food. It was so nice to have genuine indian food, fresh, freshly cooked, properly flavoured, (and not the "swimming-in-oil" offerings of typical restaurants catering to the "British" perception of indian meals). The prices are very reasonable and the serving sizes were quite filling. This is a place that I am happy to recommend.

Beautiful food! Food is always wonderful. Despite being in a department store the setting is beautiful and you feel like you’re in an actual restaurant (which I love). The manger Lee always goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service. My new regular in Birmingham! (Please bring back Paneer 66)
