New Anarkali in Elmbridge

Chicken is really well cooked in all the dishes we ordered. Fresh and fast. Would recommend and will be using again!

First time coming here Friday night with friends and we really enjoyed it! Food & service 10/10!

Shagor was really great tonight - I enjoyed the food and the service!

Chicken curry very salty and far to oily. Naan was not cooked as well as it should be and lamb tikka was cold. Though the tikka tasted nice. One dish was Luke warm and not hot and as it took 30 mins to go 2 miles I assume it was sitting for a bit.

We came here for a Good Friday dinner. My family have been here before but this was the first time I’ve tried the food. I can say it was all very enjoyable and tasty. I would probably rate the food 4.5 overall. The special lamb bhuna was particularly good. We had some king prawns from the tandoori grill which looked spectacular and tasted v good but I seemed to have missed taking a photo of it in my haste to tuck in! All the food was fresh and hot and flavourful. I thought it was pretty good value esp as the main portions were generous. The decor isn’t particularly interesting, a bit on the bland side. V comfortable padded chairs however. Nice touch with the chilled After Eight mints at the end of the meal. And the poppadoms fresh and crispy. Felt v satisfied and by the time we left, not surprisingly the restaurant was full of happy punters.

Didn’t taste how it should have

This place used to be good. It’s gone downhill. I have been reluctant to order from here since they increased their prices just for New Year’s Eve to deliberately take advantage and rip customers off. Not on. Anyhow, we decided to have a take away tonight as the Chinese is closed on a Monday. Disappointed. A chicken dish which cost over £10 and had hardly any chicken in it, just sauce. Other dishes half the size they used to be and almost double the price. No wonder it’s always empty. We won’t dine here again or have a take away. It’s become an absolute rip off. AVOID.

Could not track the order, had to call the restaurant twice to find out where the driver was. I then had to go and find the driver to get my order.

The options for a semi decent curry is very poor in this area, however this was actually tasty. It’s a tad on the expensive side.

The service was personable, friendly and there were a good amount of staff there… we were welcomed in nicely. The food was fantastic… especially the naan breads which were soft and puffy with lovely crispy bit of charcoal… so good. The rest was equally tasty and the meat was succulent. The price was reasonable and the After Eight chocolate at the end was a lovely bonus! We will definitely be back.. the only thing to improve it slightly would be more homemade style sauces with the poppadoms!

Special Lamb Biryani meat was tender and tasty but the rice was bland and the veg curry was also bland with no curry flavour or heat either.

We love this restaurant, often for a takeaway but sometimes for the restaurant experience with white linen and great service normally from Nasim. Excellent curries with the lamb jalfrezi and chicken dhamsak amongst or favourites.

Overall excellent especially the lamb rogan. Price of poppadums at £2 for two is a bit heavy, most places chuck in a couple extra but not this time.

This place might always look like it's closed from the street and the fact that it always seems empty, but they seriously make some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Service can be a bit smothering if you do go inside though as the staff appear to be always bored

Lamb Madras and Chicken Chat masala were good and tasty but far too oily. The yellow curry oil was dripping out of the boxes and in the bag and stained everything. Naans were nice freshly made. But Keema naan was bland, they forgot to put salt in it, and garlic naan didn't have enough garlic in it this time.

We started coming to New Anarkali in 1999 for a number of years. We moved away and are now back in Molesey and are pleased to say that the restaurant is at least as good as ever. The garlic chilli chicken does what it says on the tin, it was wonderful. We will come back again to this excellent restaurant.

I've ordered here a few times & generally like the food. It's always on time and piping hot. Unfortunately, with the last few orders the poppadoms have been so thin that they aren't crispy & can almost be folded in half. Also, the keema naan had good filling but only at one end and the dansak was very sweet as was the pathia I had previously. All in all, pretty tasty but a bit slap dash

3 of us booked New Anarkali via Google as we were staying in the area. The process was easy and we received our confirmation within the hour. What a great choice. A very friendly welcome from Nashim, Shagor and the team. We were expertly looked after and not rushed. Food was excellent, my Garlic Chili Chicken (Green) was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. Nice airy restaurant with good space between tables. Thank you guys, we will be back next time we are in the area.

The food is great with such large portions, we eat in, have take aways and buffet food, It’s always been amazing. The staff are friendly, shariga, Elvis, Jack and all the other staff members are always on hand to help. We Would highly recommend this local restaurant.

This restaurant is by far the best I’ve tried, the food is always fresh and served hot. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your experience an amazing one! Even though this is a big restaurant the service or quality is not compromised in any way. The food is awesome! I have tried many other restaurants in the area but they don’t come close to New Anarkali! Highly highly recommend!

Delivery was over 45 mins late and never updated on Uber eats No apology Food not hot And once we opened the bag the sauce was everywhere !!!! Mainly under neath the boxes and didn’t notice until I started to clear up I now have yellow stains on. My work top and clothes Washed the work top down twice and still yellow in the cloth Can’t get out of the clothes The food wasn’t even in a container just shoved behind the guys seat hence why it spilt out Offered no sort of compensation or apology. Won’t be ordering here again Be careful people !!!!!

Superb curry best in east Molesey

We ordered a take away from here last night and honestly I don’t say this lightly this is one of the best Indian takeaways I’ve ever had in my life! We had a big order with family round and everyone was so complimentary about the food! I will 100% be ordering from here again the only thing I thought was because it was a big order would they throw in some free poppadoms but didn’t make it clear so we ordered some on the side anyway. Thank you for the great food guys
