This place might always look like it's closed from the street and the fact that it always seems empty, but they seriously make some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Service can be a bit smothering if you do go inside though as the staff appear to be always bored

We started coming to New Anarkali in 1999 for a number of years. We moved away and are now back in Molesey and are pleased to say that the restaurant is at least as good as ever. The garlic chilli chicken does what it says on the tin, it was wonderful. We will come back again to this excellent restaurant.

3 of us booked New Anarkali via Google as we were staying in the area. The process was easy and we received our confirmation within the hour. What a great choice. A very friendly welcome from Nashim, Shagor and the team. We were expertly looked after and not rushed. Food was excellent, my Garlic Chili Chicken (Green) was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. Nice airy restaurant with good space between tables. Thank you guys, we will be back next time we are in the area.

The food is great with such large portions, we eat in, have take aways and buffet food, It’s always been amazing. The staff are friendly, shariga, Elvis, Jack and all the other staff members are always on hand to help. We Would highly recommend this local restaurant.

This restaurant is by far the best I’ve tried, the food is always fresh and served hot. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your experience an amazing one! Even though this is a big restaurant the service or quality is not compromised in any way. The food is awesome! I have tried many other restaurants in the area but they don’t come close to New Anarkali! Highly highly recommend!

Delivery was over 45 mins late and never updated on Uber eats No apology Food not hot And once we opened the bag the sauce was everywhere !!!! Mainly under neath the boxes and didn’t notice until I started to clear up I now have yellow stains on. My work top and clothes Washed the work top down twice and still yellow in the cloth Can’t get out of the clothes The food wasn’t even in a container just shoved behind the guys seat hence why it spilt out Offered no sort of compensation or apology. Won’t be ordering here again Be careful people !!!!!

Superb curry best in east Molesey

We ordered a take away from here last night and honestly I don’t say this lightly this is one of the best Indian takeaways I’ve ever had in my life! We had a big order with family round and everyone was so complimentary about the food! I will 100% be ordering from here again the only thing I thought was because it was a big order would they throw in some free poppadoms but didn’t make it clear so we ordered some on the side anyway. Thank you for the great food guys

We usually order take away food from this restaurant but on this occasion decided to eat in. It was a quiet night in the restaurant other than for deliveries of course. The service level was good we were served by Naseem who was attentive without being a nuisance, the food was as good as always, in my opinion definitely the best Indian food in the area, the portion sizes are generous too. We will continue to order our take outs from here and now and then enjoy going to this very nice restaurant

Fantastic early Friday evening treat meal for me and my two daughters, air con made it very comfortable in this hot weather! Food was delicious and excellent service from the whole team and particularly Nassim. Only issue is that me and my daughter can’t move from eating so much delicious food!!

Found myself chewing on a piece of rubber in an otherwise nice curry! Needless to say, it made me quiet unwell. Emailed the issue through with a photo of the offending item the next day, when I was feeling well enough to face it. It's now been 2 weeks, no apology, just "if you had called directly, we could have sorted the matter out asap". Not sure how or why the next day means they shouldn't bother. Very disappointing. Usually good customer service, shame it couldn't extend to this. Put me off curry for while too! 🤢

We live around the corner and have tried every Indian restaurant in the area. This is by far the best based on flavor and tenderness of the meat. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Nasim in particular stood out for his making us feel very special. Thank you for recommending the Lamb Dhansak.

Third time we have ordered from here, food is really lovely but there’s no consistency around whether you receive popadoms with your order or not. I paid extra for them today incase they weren’t included (£1 a poppadom is also entirely unheard of!) When you buy the sauces you expect at least 3 in the bag…especially when if you order direct you get them for free with the mint sauce included too…

Thoroughly enjoyed both the delicious food and excellent service at this restaurant.

I’ve come on to provide a review and don’t understand some of the negative ones. I visited with my partner after moving to the area recently. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing! This is definitely me new favourite restaurant for a meal out!

My sister has been visiting this restaurant regularly for many years, I joined her last week and now understand why this restaurant is so popular! i loved everything especially the chicken Dham Dham which was my absolute favourite! looking forward to visiting again soon! keep up the good work!

This is the worst Indian food and restaurant I have ever eaten in. Avoid, it is a truly awful experience unless you like cold, uncooked food that may or may not be chicken. I will make you a fresh one sir, not trye, they microwaved nit just one but two cold mains. Then they lied about it, even when you could see a finger mark in the dish, where it had been tested for temperature

Restaurant needed more time to complete the order. While the delay wasn't too bad, it wasn't the delivery time originally scheduled.

After following reviews on the local Facebook page, we decided to try New Anarkali. Portions are very good value for money. Starters were slightly disappointing, if I'm honest, poppadoms seemed stale and went soggy the minute they hit the chutneys. I had my usual started of king prawn puri , it was in a huge, huge amount of sweet sauce, I literally poured most of it away, there were 2 of the greasiest puris ive ever seen, the paper bag which they were folded in was soaked through and they were almost raw. We tried another starter chicken momo, sounded so nice tasted so bland and dry. However they did redeem themselves with the mains, the chicken was moist and very tender, with lots of flavour, rice was a bit of a let down with hardly any mushrooms in the mushrooms rice. It's also just slightly too much oil for me. Would I order again? Yes, maybe we were just unlucky. Maybe it's better if you eat in rather than have a takeaway.
